Giant Chicken went PewPew

I could only laugh at the sight before me. I felt like I was at home again. But not for long...

"I think I'm going to check up on the others. Raijinshu was having trouble last time I saw them," I said, turning around to go back to the camp they set up.

"Mkay" was the only response I got from the redhead.

Sigh... Why did my brother have to be an idiot? I took off running towards the camp while trying to remember who was majorly injured in the anime. It was... Mira? Levi? I can't remember. I groaned in frustration as I skidded to a stop in front of a... giant chicken?

Now I think I'm going crazy.

"Laxus!" I heard Freed shout.

I turned around, only to bump into a chest.

"Itai!..." I said, rubbing my forehead.

"Who are you?" the person asked.

I scowled. I was gone for months, not years. How bad was his memory?

"My memory is pretty good, thank you very much," he scoffed.

Whoops! I did it again.

"I'm Roselia Yuri Dragneel. Call me Yume or Rin."

"Laxus. Laxus Dreyer."

He held out his hand for me to shake and I was about to take it when I saw a giant shadow behind him. I put my hands together to form a handgun. I know what you're thinking, "handgun? Are you serious?" Yes. Yes, I am.

"Sagittarius. Celestial Star Bullet" I muttered in a low tone and a blast of stars came out of my "gun", just barely missing his head.

"Whoa. Blondie, you trying to kill me?" he said, turning around only to see...

A chicken. A giant chicken. GOD, WHERE ARE THEY COMING FROM???!?!?!?!

"I'm not blonde. So don't call me blonde, sparky," I ran over to the injured members and started healing them.

"I'm pretty sure you're blonde," he said, shooting lightning at the chickens.

I rolled my eyes. Boys these days. So oblivious. Haven't they ever heard of hair dye?

"Go help Natsu and Ice Queen. They're fighting the 2nd master!" I shouted to him as the chaos around us increased.

"2nd Master?!" they exclaimed.

"Yes. The leader who is attacking us is the 2nd Master of FairyTail. Now go!"

"How do you even know-?"

I sighed and teleported Laxus straight to Natsu. Allies and enemies alike slowly turned and looked at me. I smiled and gave them a wave. The chicken guy shrieked and ran off; his comrade following shortly after.

I quickly finished up healing the rest of them before teleporting myself to the rock where Wendy was standing when Code Red started.

The wind picked up and blew my hair into my face. I pushed it to the side but it kept coming back. Eventually, I just gave up and put it up in a ponytail.

"You done on your side?" a voice asked quietly.

"Yeah. But I think you have more work to do to protect them, Mavis," I turned around and found myself face to face with Mavis.

I sat down on the rock and hugged my knees to my face. Mavis sat down beside me.

"What do you-"

"Acnologia."

She gasped. Out of the corner of my eye, I could see her shudder.

"B-but..."

"Fairy Sphere."

It was silent in the forest. The wind blew gently and all I could hear was crickets chirping as Mavis took in all the information. She got up and dusted her dress.

"Alright."

I looked at her in surprise. Did she believe me?

"You were right back then. You'll be right this time too," she said with a grim look on her face.

Kaboom!

Mavis and I looked over at the shore to see a giant flame burst out of it. I chuckled. Typical Natsu. A deafening roar echoed through the island and sent chills down my spine.

Acnologia.

I grabbed Mavis's hand and teleported us straight to Gramps, who was holding Acnologia off with his hands.

"Gramps! Stop it!" I shouted.

He paid no attention. He couldn't hear me...

"Gramps! Stop! Don't do this! You'll die!" I cried, heads turning my way. Tears were falling down my face.

Lu-chan... Gray... Erza... Happy... Wendy... Carla... Fairytail... Natsu... Gomen.

Acnologia made eye contact with me and memories went flowing into my head.

"Acno!" a girl giggled.

It was the same girl from all the past memories. Me. But this time, her hair was pink.

"Do you like it? Mommy did it for me!" she twirled around, her hair following her as the wind put flowers in her hair.

"Yeah. It's beautiful," a blue-haired boy, which I was assumed was Acnologia, said smiling.

"Just beautiful?" she, rather I, pouted.

"Fine. You're the most beautiful girl I've ever seen," he chuckled, ruffling her hair.

"Yume!" a voice in the distance called.

"Whoops! I gotta go. Bye, bestie!" I giggled, waving my hand before running off.

"Bye..." he said, waving back with a gentle smile on his face.

"Acno..."

The dragon's eyes widened and swooped down towards me. My eyes widened and teleported myself back at the rock. I had to buy Mavis time to cast Fairy Sphere.

"I'm over here!" I shouted, waving my arms.

The next thing I knew, a tall man with blue hair appeared in front of me.

"Acno," I breathed.

"Yume!" he hugged me tightly.

"C-can't breathe," I wheezed.

"Sorry," he said, grinning sheepishly.

Acnologia could smile? I mentally facepalmed. Of course, he could. I don't even know why I'm so surprised. He was my childhood friend. I'm stupid.

He chuckled. "Are you talking to yourself again?"

My eyes widened and I pouted.

"No. Absolutely not. I would never do such a stupid thing."

"Why don't you come with me after I kill all the dragon slayers?" he offered a hand to me.

I walked backward and tripped over a tree root. Stupid root...

"I-i can't. Those dragon slayers are my friends," I exclaimed.

Acno frowned before transforming back into a dragon. He grabbed me in one hand and took off towards the others.

"Put me down!"

He gave no response nor gave any sign that he even heard me.

"I demand you put me down, you overgrown lizard!" I shouted.

He growled but kept flying. He wasn't going to actually kill them, would he? What if they couldn't activate Fairy Sphere in time? What if... I started hyperventilating. Then black...

Acnologia started flying up in the sky, only to see his prey, holding hands. How cute. He held back his laughter as he prepared a roar. Seeing how the people below him were his bestie's friends, he thought he might as well just give them a quick death. He had let out his roar and flew back a bit to see his work. His eyes widened in surprise.

The whole island was gone.

"Just in time, Mavis."

He looked at his paw. I glared at him and rubbed my head.

"Couldn't you have been gentler?" I shouted, banging my tiny fists on his hand.

Acnologia only shrugged before flying back towards his cave. He hadn't gotten far when a ship exploded in his face. Surprised, he dropped me and I screamed. I shut my eyes as the wind picked up. A black figure dashed across my vision. Then nothing.

"Damn it... Damn it... Damn it!" he howled.

Everyone who heard that roar had nightmares for months. Poor citizens of Fiore.

The black figure that had caught her dropped her off at FairyTail's doorstep. He was about to knock on the door when he saw her hair clearly for the first time. He sighed, waved his hand, the hair dye, as well as the contacts, were removed. He smiled at her sadly as he erased her guild mark.

The girl shivered when the mark was gone. Even though she was unconscious, again, she could tell something was missing.

"Start again. Don't let the past hold you back, my dear imouto," he whispered, kissing her forehead.

He knocked on the door and ran around the corner. Some kid had opened the door and was shouting something to the others. Soon enough, Yume was brought into FairyTail's infirmary, where she slept for a week.

"I'll be back, FairyTail."

With that, the man disappeared. Only leaving the faintest trail of black magic behind.
