Chapter 10

Ravens POV

I woke up the next morning with my muscles a little sore and stiff from yesterday's event. I also had a neck cramp seeming as I was laying in quite literally a ball. I got out of bed and did the usual dramatic morning stretch and yawn shit you see on TV. It's the best kind of stretch now that I've started doing it. I look at my bedside clock. It read 8:47 so I decided to skip the shower until later in the day. Hopefully my plans didn't take too long because I wanted to fight tonight. Didn't really feel like cooking anything so I just ate some Cocoa Puffs. One thing I have to have is breakfast and what better to have than a nice bowl of chocolate goodness. I knew I had shit to do today so I might as well get a move on. I saver the last of the chocolate milk before cleaning up. "Goodbye my darling I will be back for you very soon. Mama loves you." I sigh as the cereal box goes back on top of the fridge. Grey had a good laugh while Clarity huffed and rolled her eyes. "Man I really am a loner." I laugh. I make it half way up the stairs to my room and stop to reminisce the memories this place held. It wasn't complete without my Parents and Jade. " I miss you so much." I whisper. Today was not a day be sad. It was a day of work and it was time to hop to it. "Hop to it...what a terrible phrase." Clarity sighs.

I got in the shower and brushed my teeth then let my hair air dry while I picked out clothes. "Are you going to meet with that person from the letter today?" Grey asked me."Yeah I kind of have to or else they will find me eventually." I shrugged. I originally planned to meet him after my fight but that would be at about 2 in the morning and that would be waiting too long. I may not want to meet this man but that also doesn't mean I get to be less than punctual.

Having as many clothes as I do, picking an outfit is difficult. Eventually I picked out black cargo pants and a simple white tee-shirt. I also got out my favorite leather jacket and Doc Martins. A simple and movable outfit for the day. I like rings so I made sure to put some on my right hand. I put on a skull ring on my middle finger that was quite heavy along with simple silver bands on my ring finger and one on my thumb. Putting on my signature eyeliner and touched up my brows I was finally ready to go so I grabbed my keys to my 2018 Charger. You could say this car was my everything. It was black of course with burgundy wheels and a stripe down the middle. I

It would take me just over an hour to get to the meeting place which I found out was just a mile past the border of Blue Shadow territory. Being on some other packs land wasn't new to me but I felt weird about this one. The feeling wasn't a bad one though and that scared me in a way.

Blue Shadow Territory

Not wanting to bring my car across the border, I parked it in a part of the woods that looked like a camp ground of some sort. I could smell the wolves so the border was sort of close. I didn't feel like shifting because it would mean shredding my clothes and I really liked this outfit. The GPS could only take me so far. unfortunately they don't show pack boarders so I would have to do the rest alone. I take a deep breath to calm down and pick up the smells. I started running but took to the trees shorty after. The view was breathtaking for sure. I stopped to take in the view. There wasn't a gate or fencing in sight but there wasn't a need for them. The trees scattered around in an odd way meaning they could have some magic infused in the. They could've also been posts for scouts. The structure of the buildings had an awe to them as well. Like they held some memories of all sorts.

It didn't take me long to pass through the border but when I did the weird feeling in my chest grew stronger with every step. There was something here for me. It was mind boggling how I couldn't figure it out. Grey knew something though, but she wasn't speaking at the moment which confused me even more. Clarity was showing no signs of affection by anything we had both been feeling. This was growing to be annoying. I let my teeth sharpen to point that left indentations in my bottom lip and made my eyes glow there dark red. My heart was going a mile a minute. It dawned on me that this was going to be my future weather I wanted it to be or not. This Jason character was a key to the answers I've needed for so long and I his. I started a slow walk to my destination in the distance making sure to hide my scent until the last minute. It would make my presence coming through a little less edgy to those nearby. Meaning there will be a far less need to follow me and inspect me. I could feel the wolves closing in on me yet keeping a distance that would't give them away. Lucky for me, I wasn't a normal wolf. I chose to not out them as that would bring more questions than answers. Right, answers are the goal. No more and no less. This was my one chance of peace. My one chance to let my parents finally rest easy. I couldn't help but think I wouldn't have another opportunity like this again.
