The Alpha King and his gorgeous weakness

Firstly, she did not want to die yet so she could save her cousin and secondly, she wanted to die because just as Selene said, she has been through enough and a rest from it all will not be a bad idea.

After a while of thinking about these two feelings, she chose the first. She had to remain positive to save her cousin and help him return home.

He was forced to live away from home almost all his life and she felt partly guilty about that. She felt it was only right that she ensures his safe return before she dies.

She decided to find what she was rejecting that led to her miserable state. The bond, she did not know what that bond was and why her body felt like it was literally on fire but she was determined to get through it.

She felt a pair of warm strong hands wrap her hands rubbed against them in gentle soothing motion that had her drifting off into a deep sleep in a short while.
