Six days had gone by and today was the last day William had to prepare before taking his test to determine his tank and placement in the pack. He had been doing well with his combat training and also acing his tracking, hunting and scouting training.
"How ya holding up for ya test tomorrow?" Keisha asked him as they walked side by side down their school walk way.
The two had grown akin to eachother even though it was the same close bond with Connor and Brian but the bond that he had with Keisha was pretty special. In fact you could say that they might be dating but if you look in between the lines, it's just close friendship.
"Well, I'm pretty nervous but with the skills and training that I've acquired, I'd say that I'll do well". He said with a smile at the end.
"Oh well, we'll see at lunch. LW" she added as she gave him a friendly punch on the back.
He to his next class and sat down thinking of what the test would be like and how it would be if he passed. If he was an omega, he'd be the lowest rank with a whole lot of work but if he was a beta, he'd be in a position of power and be next in line to take place after the alpha steps down if he's good enough. From that thought, he stumbled into the thought of his parents and why they left the pack. He continued to ponder on that thought for minutes but after a while, he decided to leave his thoughts aside and focus on his class.
Last night he had a long video call with his parents as it had been two weeks since he'd last seen them. He tried his best to hide the wolf events that had happened the past week and cover it up with him spending hours sleeping. His parents were delighted to here that he's been holding up well on his own and his aunt has also told them that he's been doing well except for that one time that he got held up tracking down some deer but apart from that, it's been all good.

"So boys how has your day been" Brian asked as they covered their lunch from the server and walked to their seats. They walked in a single file with Brian the big and muscular in front and Keisha sandwiched between Will and Connor.
"I don't know about you guys but my days been going well" Keisha said as she tried to break free from the ever tighten space between William and Connor. She struggled and finally broke free and sat by Brian's side as Connor and Will paired up to sit on the other side of the circular red table.
"Speak for yourself, last night I got help up on my chemistry assignment and it wasn't good at all. Thank God I finished the others at your house Keisha or I'd be sleeping through my classes today" he said before he gave a long yawn. The others giggled when he yawned.
"What? What's funny?" Will asked
"Well it's just that you say that almost everyday" Connor said with a little laugh at the end.
"Yh, Connor's right you always say this at school but when we're in the forest is like you're on steroids" she said with a giggle.
"Well I don't blame him. Being stuck up in here doing things that are so boring but compare the feeling that you get when you're free and running through the forest, you'll definitely feel pumped when you're out of this, prison" Brian said with a disgusted tone at the end when he said prison.
They all laughed after Brian's statement. But it was the truth, they all felt better when they were together and out of school. Although Brian was their senior by a year, he had a good rapport with his juniors.
"Alright, I'll see you guys later, got some stuff to attend to on the track" Brian said as he carried his plate and walked away.
"See you later Brian!" They chorused.
The three of them continued to talk and laugh as they ate their food. The four were becoming a tight compact unit and were like family, full of love and care for one another. They took their plates and dumped it before sitting outside on the grass as they watched others socialize talk and laugh.
"Eeehhh, this is what I'd be into if I was still a normal human. I'd want to popular and stuff but, psh, who cares, I'm a....you know what now" William said with a sigh of relief.
"Come on will, stop with all the coded language and keep it together Keisha said with an annoyed tone.
"Oh sorry, didn't mean to hurt your feelings" Will said as he began to poke her cheeks.
" It's not good to be playing with a girl's cheeks it kind of rude ya know!" Keisha scolded William as he was all but helpless.
"Help me Connor!" William exclaimed as Keisha held his shirt tightly and was about to strangle him.
"There's nothing I can do now. You're in hunters claws" he said with a light laugh. "You know what, you two never seize to amaze me" Connor added.
"Help me" William said as he got choked by Keisha. He tried to claw his way over to Connor to see if he could help him but before he could even blink, he was pulled back by Keisha. She continued to pound his head and snack him as his caucasian coloured face turned red due to the slaps he received and she continued to scold him. All Connor could do was watch as his friend got a real pounding.
"Well Keisha, I think he's had enough of this dattebasa (yes I did)" Connor said as he used Boruto's famous slogan.
She turned around and looked at him with a whole lot of fury and anger in her eyes.
"If you don't want to get beaten up like your friend over here, I suggest that you stay quiet" Keisha said angrily as she help a wimpering William down.
"O..o...okay" Connor said in fear.
"That's good" she added before she pulled William by his sweatpants and continued her onslaught.
After a little while, She let go of Will and he laid there on the floor as he had passed out. Connor tried to snap Will out of it but he got a real beating. Brian noticed what had happened from a far and went to check up on them.
"That's what you get when you mess with a powerful lady, L...W" She commented with a frieghtening tone that scarf the crap out of Connor. She was truly one not to be messed with after seeing that display of power. On a normal day, William could hold his own against her not only as a human but as a werewolf too but man couldn't hit a girl just like that. She huffed before she left, carried her school bag and walked away leaving Will laying down on the floor. An oncoming Brian was confused as he arrived the scene.
"What happened?" Brian asked as he looked around for clues.
"Keisha happened. She pounded the crap out of William and now he's passed out. C'mon man, wake up" Connor said as he slapped Will twice.
"That's not going to help now, we have to take him to the school nurse." Brian said as he picked William up from the ground, placed him upon his shoulder and carried him effortlessly to the school clinic.

The nurse discharged him and gave him a bit of glucose as his blood sugar tan low from tanking all the hits from Keisha. He missed the rest of his classes but got back on his feet. Connor and Brian waited for Will to come out and they steadied him as he came out of her office.
"You okay?" Brian asked.
"Yup, I'm good to go. All I needed was just a bit of glucose so I'm ready to finish my training" he said with excitement.
"Well don't get to carried away and over work yourself. You still have to get ready for tomorrow" Connor added as they walked out of the school building. Keisha then popped out from behind them and stood next to Brian.
"Hey there. Sorry about what happened Will, I feel so sorry about it" Keisha said with remorse.
"Ehh, no problem, just don't to hard on me next time as I can't guarantee not screwing up again" Will said with a smile.
"No problem" Keisha responded with a smile.

After they did their homework and had a nice home cooked meal, Will returned to his final training session with Miranda, Connor and Keisha.
"Alright maggot, today's ya last fight with me so make it count. Understood?!" Miranda asked as she approached William.
"Hell yeah knockout" Will replied enthusiastically.
"Then let us begin!" She yelled as both of them ran at eachother.
Will allowed Miranda to run a lot faster than humans he just went a tad bit faster than jogging speed. As Miranda leaped and came flying in, Wills training paid off and he countered with a strong left hook and made Miranda roll on her side and before she could recover, Will pounced on top of her and went full attack on her. He tried to clamp down on her throat but Miranda won't let up and had her paws in Will's face as he tried multiple times to bite down on her. She ended up slapping off her body and he rolled twice on his side before quickly springing back up to his feet as he prepared for Miranda's attack. Miranda leaped on Will and will angled his body in a way that when he engaged he would be able to receive her and maybe slightly gain the upper hand. Once locked, they both stood on their hind legs as their front paws held eachother close and they bit down violently on their shoulders but they were both able to cover their exposed neck pretty well. Will decided to use his youth against her old age as he deduced a plan that might just be the deciding factor. As he locked up well with Knockout, he positioned his hind legs into the ground to make sure that he had a firm grip into the ground.
"You can do it Will!" Keisha cheered with a bark.
That gave him motivation as he unleashed a burst of energy that would make Miranda stumble. As it was unexpected Miranda was caught unawares and even though she was physically stronger than him, old age weighed in his favour as she couldn't release an energy surge to counter his attack. She fell backwards and tried to get up but William used a hunting technique that he had learned to bring her down. He used his right front paw to tackle her right hind leg which kept her down as he hit her left front paw with his own and rolled her over putting his two front paws on her neck. She was surprised to find out that she was pinned in such a flurry of attacks.
"Wow, I'm impressed" she happily with her thick Irish accent. With those remarks, William let up and allowed her to stand up on her feet. As Eric and Linda watched through the bushes and took down notes.
"You are finally ready" she added as she walked away to meet Caleb who watched from a distance.
"Don't let this victory go to your head. Just so you know, I let you win" she said with a smile on her face. I don't know how it's possible but she did it.
Will was full of joy as he had passed his combat test. Tomorrow would be his tracking and hunting test so he thought that he would practice taking down deer one last time before tomorrow. Miranda went to meet Eric and Linda as they assessed his fight and deliberated on his score. As Will and the others went to do they daily patrol rounds, Eric, Miranda and Linda sat down on the grass as they issued a final verdict on the fight.
************************************
"Well, after that performance he would be a very useful fight but based on how he's built, he's more slender and agile, built for speed than to fight" Linda stated.
"I agree, although he has good strategies for a fight, he's not built to be a warrior but that doesn't mean he can't hold his own against an enemy wolf as that performance speaks for itself" Miranda added.
"All these things have been noted especially how he's built for speed but his combat prowess is also really good" Eric said to the hearing of others as they agreed with a nod.
"So, as his battle scores are good for that or a warrior, let's see how his scouting, tracking and hunting tests go. Speaking of his scouting test, let's see how that went. Caleb how did it go?" He asked the approaching Caleb.
"It went well actually, he was hard to detect and did well spying on Brian as I watched him from a distance. It was pretty impressive" Caleb said as he walked to sit down next to Miranda to join the meeting.
"Well that means he'll make a pretty great scout" Miranda responded.
"Indeed" Linda added.
"Well if you say his scouting test went as well as it did that means that he'll make a great scout" Eric stated.
"Yes he would but he made some rookie mistakes in his approach as he misplaced some his steps and caused some ruckus that would've given his position off to Brian but he was quick to recover and hide from Brian's sight" Caleb said.
"That's pretty important as a scout. He can't be sloppy and has to be on his toes all the time" Linda replied.
"We will just have to wait until his final tests tomorrow before we can give him his position in the pack. Alright, meeting adjourned" Eric said as they stood up and went back with his wife to continue their patrol rounds.
As the meeting went on, William had already scored a pretty big red Der die and ate it with Connor and Keisha. It was a pretty interesting hunt as he had to deal with a change in wind direction which gave his scent off to the deer making them run off early. He had to manage the situation and make the most out of his situation and with that, he landed a pretty good deer. As the three of them sat and ate, all that went through Will's mind was how the test was going to be tomorrow.
