Caleb's Tantrums

William was happy to sleep in today as it was a Saturday and didn't have to go to school. It had been a while since he had gone to his usual biker ring to ride his bike. He was sure that his old biker buddies had missed so he decided to go there later as he could pull up late to the forest to meet his pack member's since it was a Saturday.

He lazily got out of bed and gave a long yawn before pulling his blanket away from his body. He'd then get up and stretch a bit before heading down to the kitchen to make himself breakfast. He turned on the Tele and turned up the volume so that he could hear what was going on as he fried some potato chips with eggs and bacon. The aroma filled the whole house as everything came out perfectly, this proved that he wasn't to bad of a cook. Once he was done, he made some tea and placed his food on the centre table in the living room then rushed up to his bedroom to wear a shirt. As he wore his shirt, his phones notification beeped as a message from Connor came in. They were going out of town to visit their aunt which was a four hour drive away from where they lived as she had just given birth. This meant that he and Keisha had to cover for them and it was more work for him. This gave him more of an excuse to take some time off and meet his biker buddies. He then slid down the stairs rails to the living room and hopped on the couch and ate his meal.

Fifteen minutes later, Will got ready and headed out to the biker ring. He wore a black hood and black jeans with black and white trainers. He wore his black helmet and got on his bike and rode to meet his friends. He messaged them earlier to see if anyone was at the biker ring and five of them were still around. Autumn was in full swing as dried up leaves littered the lawns of the houses that he passed. Luckily, he had talked the leaves in his yard yesterday so his chores were cut short.

"Yo LW, long time no see" Timmy, said to William as he pulled up. The two shook hands before the others arrived.

They exchanged pleasantries and had a quick chit chat before Will's phone beeped again. It was Keisha and she asked where he was. He gave her his location and she said that she'll be right over. She wanted to get out of the house with Caleb in everyone's hair ever since William was appointed as a beta. Huge fights had happened between Caleb and her father, even Miranda and Linda weren't spared from his outbursts so she needed to get out of the house. After texting her, he proceeded to challenge his friends to a trick duel. They all agreed and they rode for a bit to get to their ideal spot where they burnt rubber. William was happy that he was associating with people other that his pack member's and a smile was permanently on his face as they teased eachother and remember all the good times that they had.

As they arrived, first up was Timmy. He rode up to the rail that was ten feet long. He lifted his bike up and rode the rail with the bars that poked out from both sides of his wheels. While on it, he placed his right foot on his right pedal and lifted his left leg up in the air and sort of looked like a star that was tilted to the left. As he came of the rail, he spun the body of his bike twice before landing on it. The others were impressed with his performance. After the other four went up, it was finally Will's turn. He got ready for his run up and sprinted for the rail. As he arrived, he hopped with his bike, letting go of the left bar and rotated his body to land in front of his bike as he balanced on the bars that extended from his front wheel and rode the rail. When he got to the end, he spun the body of his bike three times as he moved his legs above the handle bars of his bike and landed perfectly back on it but he wasn't done there. He rode straight at the walk and was going to do a flip. His run up was perfect and he angled his bike to give him grip on the wall as he rotated his body and the bike to do a perfect back flip landing a foot away from the wall. His friends cheered and clapped as they were still surprised that he still got his biker instinct. They continued to do tricks and discussed for about half an hour before they split up and went their separate ways.

LW rode around the ring until he found Keisha sitting down on a bench deeply engrossed in her phone. He rode up slowly to her and stopped right in front of her and pulled down her phone. She raised her head up to see William looking down on her.

"Never thought I'd find you hanging out in a place like this" William said.

"What do you mean? You asked me to come here didn't you" she replied as she stood up and hugged him. He didn't expect the hug coming and just stood still.

"Yes I did. So what's the real reason for getting away from your Gatwick getaway home?" He asked as he got off his bike and leaned on it. She held her head down and looked away from him.

"Let me guess, you got into a fight with your parents or is it Caleb's new attitude?" He asked.

"It's Caleb, he's been fighting with everyone including Miranda ever since you got appointed as a beta. He keeps on yapping about how it's a bad decision or is it because you're a Laire they gave you that position. The fights have just become to frequent for me and I don't know how much I can take" she said as she was almost moved to tears now.

"Don't be too sad, I'm sure it's just a phase he has to pass through" William said with a calm comforting voice. This brought a smile to her face as he brought some words of encouragement.

"You know what, I know where they make the greatest burritos in town, My treat" he said as he tried to lighten the mood.

"I'm in, as long as you're paying" she said with a smile. Will looked through his wallet and was happy to see that he had just enough for the two of them.

"I guess I could pay for the both of us" he responded.

"Great! Lead the way" she exclaimed as she gut her purse and followed William on his bike.

The two walked to William's house which was about fifty feet away from their current location. Apparently his burrito idea lightened up the mood and made her almost completely forget about her troubles at home.

"So this is your neighborhood, it seems peaceful and quiet" Keisha commented.

"Yeah, it kinda is and since we all socialize, we keep an eye on eachother so it's pretty safe" he replied.

"Pretty cool. So which house is yours?" She asked.

"This one right here. Come in and make yourself at home" he said as they pulled up into his front yard. He parked his bike right in front of his door as he would use it to get to the Hamsterly Forest later.

"Wow, so this is were the great Laire's reside" Keisha excliamed as she was surprised that William kept the house clean.

"Yep, this is our crib. There's some wafers and biscuits in the fridge so help yourself. I'm going up to shower and change. See you in a bit" William stated as he walked up the stairs.

"Will do" she replied as she dropped her purse on a chair in the living room.

She entered the kitchen and found that everywhere was spotless. She was really impressed that he kept the whole house clean. She opened the fridge and found everything neatly arranged and picked up a bunch of wafers and biscuits and a soda to go with them. She turned on the television and watched for a while but wanted to explore more of the house. She snooped around and saw some of Will's laundry in a laundry basket and saw them neatly folded. She then went to the basement and pantry and went up stairs to were the rooms were. She didn't go into his parents room as that would be highly disrespectful but went to William's door and saw it slightly open and peeked through the little space that was open. She saw him bare chested with trousers on and her eyes seemed to glisten as she saw his well shaped packs and tanned body. As she tried to get a closer look, she fell and bursted through the door.

"Keisha?!" William exclaimed as he jumped into his bed surprised at what she was doing watching him.

"Oh, sorry, I didn't mean to intrude or anything" she said nervously as she tried to gather herself back.

"It's fine, you don't have to apologise, just knock next time" He said as he wore a marron T-Shirt with some writings on it.

"I will" she said with a smirk as she stood up from the floor and looked at him.

He walked to her and helped her up to her feet as both of them smiled at eachother. He then led her down stairs to the living room as both of them hopped on the sofa as they got ready to watch a movie. She snuggled up to him and rested her head on his chest as they enjoyed the movie together. They both slept through the movie but Keisha was the first to wake up between the two and saw William fast asleep.

"Will, Will, Wake up" she called to him as she shook his body.

"I'm up" he said as he rubbed his eyes and woke up with a dull face.

"We slept through the movie" she said with a little chuckle.

"We did? Wow. I'm not to surprised, it was boring" he said as she stretched his arms and yawned.

"Yep, the most boring movie I've watched so far" she added.

"Oh damn, it's one thirty. I guess we have to head over to the forest now" Will stated as he stood up from the couch to go and grab his jacket from the dinning chair.

"Yh, I guess so" she said as she adjusted her shirt.

The two headed out of the house with William riding his bicycle and Keisha walking by his side. The two made their way to the Hamsterly Forest to perform their wolf duties.

************************************

Will and Connor patrolled the border between their territory and that of the boulder pack. Will looked around for any sign of wolf footprints and sniffed the air for any unfamiliar wolf scent while Keisha watched a roe deer herd of fourteen walk over to their side of the forest.

"Still can't believe that we have to share our forest with those proud fools" Keisha said as she expressed her frustration.

"Yh, they are full of themselves" Will added.

"I can still remember when we controlled the entire forest before that viper Blake sold us out and now we have to share it with them" Keisha commented.

"Wait you mean Blake was apart of this pack?" LW said full of surprised.

"Yh he was. He won all of us over and we trusted him just for him to turn around and stab us in the back" Keisha said angrily.

"Oh well, shit happens but it's all for the best" William replied.

"I hope your right" Keisha answered.

While doing their run, they spotted Caleb alone for the first time without Miranda by his side. Will barked at him trying to get his attention but the just huffed after spotting him and ran off. He turned to look at Keisha but she just shook her head and walked past him. The two patrolled the western and central region which was twice of what both of them did on a normal day but they had to cover for Brian and Caleb.

The two finally finished and rested on a vantage point in which they could see more than half of the forest with its hills, trees and wildlife. As they rested, they were lucky to see a fox pass right by them not scared by their presence. That was a real brave fox and it even scored a kill a few metres away from them.

"Damn, the view here is awesome. It really brings out the beauty in the forest" William said.

"Yh I'd does" Keisha answered as she walked up to William that was already lying on the ground. She moved closer to him before Go Ng down and laying next to him as she just finished rolling in the grass use by.

"I still can't believe that you rolled in the grass like a child" Will teased her

"What? It gives my fur a natural scent and I had an itch on my back" She replied.

"You're just making excuses" Will said.

"You're just jealous" she teased.

"Say what you want, I know that I'm not jealous" William said as he turned his attention back to the stunning view.

"If you say so" she responded as she also turned back to look at the amazing point.

The two laid next to eachother and Keisha rested her head slightly on his as they enjoyed the view and each others company. Will then rubbed his head against hers as a cool breeze began to blow making their fur waver a bit as a grey and white wolf looked out into a distance from a steep edge.
