Suspended

William walked down the stairs of his house as he also roles his bike alongside him. He had his earpiece in his ears listening to Like This by NF. Ever since yesterday, all he could think about was Keisha, he tried his best to get his mind of her but nothing seemed to be working. He wore a red and white jacket with dark brown trousers with red and white shoes to compliment the jacket. He got on his bike and rode to school with his head shaking to the beat of the music and miming the song under his breath. He got to school relatively on time and saw Connor and Brian waiting for him as always.

"Yo, Will, how ya doing?" Brian asked.

"I'm holding up good" William responded as he pulled the earpiece in his ears out and paused the song.

"That's great to hear" Brian replied.

"I heard what happened yesterday, Lover boy, you and Keisha, spending quality time together" Connor said with some altereor motive behind his statement.

"Yeah! I heard about that too" Brian added.

"Nothing happened boys, nothing happened. It was just two friends talking" William said in a stern tone.

"We hope so" Brian and Connor chorused before laughing it off.

The trio walked through the hallway of the school before being joined by their fourth h member, Keisha.

"What's up guys?" Keisha asked.

"We doing good" Brian responded.

"Hope your trip went well" she replied.

"Sure it did"answered Connor.

"Have y'all heard about what's going on?" Will said.

"What's been going on?" Connor asked

"Caleb's been throwing tantrums an pissing everyone off. Ever since William was given the position off-" Keisha explained before being cut off.

"Yeah we get it. Man's be jealous, hell get over with" Brian said as he cut Keisha off.

"I do hope so cuz from what I've heard, his close to throwing hands with Eric and Miranda" Connor said as he texted someone on his phone.

The three of them stopped and looked at Connor confused.

"How did you know all this?" William asked.

"I have my ways or you could say a little birds told me so" he said before walked Ng past them and the school bell rang.

"Guess it's time for class, catch y'all later" Brian stated before walking off to his class.

After school they went to their usual fast food place but this time they got some burritos to go with their food. They ate and got full, well, Connor and Keisha atleast. Brian and William have a huge appetite and it would take a whole lot of food before they'll get full. Connor paid this time around and they walked out. A nearby street gang had noticed that they always came there and decided to try and Rob them in broad daylight. I know right, it's really dumb and they didn't even try and do it in an alley but on the open street.

"Oi, you three chimps and the pretty lady, I want your wallets and purse asap" The guy that looked like the gang boss said. They had no idea that werewolves in their human for had exceptional strength and speed which wouldn't be a good thing for them.

"Are you listening to this guys, they seriously think that we'll go down without a fight" Brian said as he threw his bag to the side and rolled up his sleeves.

"It's actually hard to believe that they'll want to rob us in broad daylight and not even in an alley way. They're really dumb" William said pulling off his jacket and dumping his bag on top of Brian's.

"Agreed" Keisha added as she threw her purse at Connor.

"You guys knock yourselves out, I'm not getting myself into this" Connor stated as he got himself a place to sit to watch everything.

"You really think you three stand a chance against us?" The boss said as his other fourteen members gathered around him.

"Well there's three of us and fifteen of you so I guess we'll take five on five" Brian said.

"Na, I'll take on three. You guys can have six a piece". Keisha responded.

"Fine by me if you get to them first Will" Brain said with an excited pitch in his voice.

"You're on" William exclaimed.

The three of them charged at the fifteen gang members that awaited them. Keisha kept to her word as she only engaged three members while Brian and William raced for who'd get the most people beaten up. Keisha made quick work of her opponents by giving them quick KO's. She punched the throat of the first guy she came across, gave an upper cut to the second and broke the jaw of the third. William and Brian on the other hand savoured the moment causing a whole lot of internal damage to their victims, lacerating muscles, dislocating joints and cracking bones.

After ten minutes, Brian and William ended up with a tie at six victims. They cleaned themselves up and got their stuff together. They carried their bags and walked away from the scene of guys moaning and screaming in pain with passerby's wondering what had happened.

Twenty minutes later and they arrived the forest with caution as they didn't want to get on Caleb's nerves. They entered the Gatwick household quietly but was met with Caleb arguing with Eric. They carefully and cautiously passed by without causing a distraction. They went into Keisha's private living room and dumped their bags on the floor.

"Men, Caleb should chill out, like just because they appointed someone that you deem, 'not qualified enough' doesn't mean that you can disrespect your elders like c'mon" Brian said angrily.

"It pissed me off too" Connor added.

William just sat there quietly thinking about all of this happened because of him. He wondered if everything would have been okay if he was never a beta but just started from the base as an omega. Would Caleb never put up a display like this or what? He continued to question hi.self over and over and over until he was stopped by a gentle tap on the back from Keisha.

"Everything alright up there?" She asked.

"Well, all this arguing got me thinking, what would've happened if I never got the position of beta. I mean like would this arguement happen or what like I don't know I'm just lost" he said with concern in his voice.

"You don't have to be to hard on yourself man, we got your back and don't think that the position given to you was a wrong decision. Eric saw something in you that led him to making that decision, something Caleb is yet to see but don't worry, everything would play out fine" Connor emphasized.

"You know what would make you feel better? Going out for a run" Brian exclaimed.

That seemed to lighten up the mood as they all ran down the stairs, out of the house and into the forest. As all four of them ran, their human sized legs gradually grew and became four as they bolted through the woods. They weaved through trees, jumped over logs and streams and slid down descents and steep climbs. They felt free and vibrant again like the house of joy had now become a place of sadness. They soon arrived a roe deer herd that was in-between the tree lain and the plain field ahead of them.

"What do you say, should we take em?" William asked as he was obviously in the mood to hunt.

"Yeah, two should do the trick" Connor responded.

"Right, Will and Connor go start the chase. Brian and I would take care of the rest" Keisha commanded.

"Sure thing Hunter" William echoed as he and Connor left them to take their positions.

Connor and William both stood by the flanks of the herd as they prepared to chase them back into the forest where Keisha and Brain laid to finish them off.

"Alright Connor let's go!" William exclaimed as both of the wolves leaped out of the bushes and accelerated towards the unsuspecting deer that got startled and split up into two groups with one heading into the forest and the other diverting into the plain. They we faster than the deer by a long shot but their prey was full of surprises as well as more nimble than them. Connor and William played their part really well and it was all up to Keisha and Brian now to seal the deal. Brian watched as the deer came towards his position and latched unto a deer's hind leg with a paw as it squealed for mercy. He pulled it closet to him as his head was now closer to it's neck and delivered the final blow. Keisha on the other hand sprinted from the left direction and pounced on the deer that her class sank into biting down hard into it's neck to kill them. William and Connor soon arrived the scene as they both had a deer each in their mouths.

"That went pretty well" Connor said.

"Yep" Keisha replied as they had finally suffocated their deer.

"Bon appetit" Brian announced as he and his brother dug into the dead deer before them. Brian bullied Connor to get the better parts of the deer and they had a little squabble with Connor chasing Brian with an entire deer leg in his mouth. Since Connor was faster than Brian he caught up quickly as the two ran circles around Keisha and William who had settled in to eat their food.

"Would these two give it a break" Keisha sighed as she age up.

"Apparently not, it's the way of siblings" William answered.

The two then had a little fight with Brian winning as usual as Connor yielded this time to his elder brothers dominance which was displayed by him bowing to his brother as he growled at him with his head over his. With their differences settled, they proceeded to continue to dine on their meal with Will gifting Connor with one of the deer legs of his own shared kill. He was feeling a bit of generous and sorry that Connor may never win his brother in a one on one fight until the day he dies.

The four walked back to the house just to catch Caleb as he was leaving the house angrily.

"This is unacceptable!" Linda screamed as she raised her voice.

"Oh yh, I say your decision over this Laire boy is unacceptable" Caleb yelled back at her. The four emerged out of the bushes slowly and watched the drama unfold.

"How dare you raise your voice at me young man, I raised you ever since you were twelve years old" She lashed back.

"Oh, how dare me, how dare you for letting a newbie get the position of beta right of the bat it shows your lack of leadership skills as a pack and you, you are nothing without Eric" Caleb shouted before being slapped by Linda. He turned his face in shock as he never expected that from her. He raised his hand about to return the slap with that of his own when he heard Eric's voice from a distance.

"That's enough boy. I'm sick and tired of your behaviour ever since I made that announcement" Eric stated as Miranda stood behind him and watched.

"You know what, I shouldn't be taking my anger out on you. Instead, I should take it out on the origin of the problem" Caleb said with a cold voice as he turned his attention to William.

"You wouldn't dare" Knockout said with a commanding Irish tone but apparently Caleb had made his mind up.

"William, you have to go now." Keisha said as they all carefully watched Caleb walk down the stairs.

"You have to go now" she yelled but it was to late now, Caleb leaped forward and transformed and charged straight at William.

William had to choose between fighting or running but before he could decide, he was met by the claws of Caleb as he pounced on him. The two locked up in dangerous combat as they rolled down the mild descent unto the forest floor. Snarls and growls was all that could be heard as they bit and lashed at eachother. Brian and Connor were quick to react and chased after them with the others following soon after. Caleb was already used to fighting and gave Will a quick one-two combo which William responded to with his own one-two combo as well. William slapped his head down and used his hind legs to lift Caleb's body off of his as that would stop the two from rolling any longer. The two stood up quickly and regained their balance as they were about to battle it out. Caleb leaped at William and he also leaped at Caleb but gave a sharp right hook to Caleb's head with gave him the upper hand to dominate for a while as he but down on Caleb's shoulder and swung him into a tree. This did some damage but Caleb was quick to recover giving Will a strong uppercut that sent him off the ground. Caleb came in trying to do some damage to William's under belly but he was quick to cover his exposed side and launched all four limbs at him stopping him from getting a good aim. He then tripped Caleb with a quick slash to his front paw and landed a downward strike that sent his head to a rock below. The two gave eachother space as they sized eachother up for another clash but then Brian came flying in and landed on Caleb as the two exchanged blows shortly before separating. Connor covered William as he slowly got up. Obviously something wasn't right, despite William's best efforts, Caleb was able to land a good bite and drew blood but he also fought back as he punctured his shoulder and his left paw as there clear signs of blood on them. The two were injured but not out. He wobbled to his feet and got back to his fighting position as the other pack member's arrived. Brian holding Caleb to a stand still and blocked him from advancing any further.

"Oh my gosh, William you're bleeding" Keisha exclaimed as she helped William get back on his feet the other three examined the situation and Eric had to make a tough decision.

"Caleb, you've been suspended for a weak from your pack duties and we will delebrate on whether or not you can stay here or not and don't go back to my house" Eric declared.

Caleb huffed before disappearing and William went back into his human form before collapsing. The while pack was in a state of despair as two members just turned on eachother. This was going to affect the pack in many ways than one in the following days ahead.
