Chapter 63 - Erika vs Itsuki, the end.
"Trust your instinct and do it. I believe in you. You should believe in yourself Riolu." Erika and Zitong both was confused by what Itsuki was saying to Riolu. There is no way Riolu could make a sword at his first try. Pokémon needs lots of practice to learn a move so Erika didn't believe that Riolu could do what Itsuki wanted.
" Use poison spray to finish Riolu." Erika believed that Riolu won't succeed so she wanted her Pokémon to attack using his chance.

Riolu was only 8 meters away from Tangela. Riolu closed his eyes for a second, Riolu imagined a sword forming in his palm. The distance was slowly closing and Tangela's attack was also going to be fired at Riolu.
"Go!" Tangela fired 3 glops of purple acid towards Riolu. When the acid spray was 1 meters away from Riolu, Riolu opened his eyes.

A blue shining Katana made from Aura energy formed in Riolu's palm. Riolu easily sliced the poison spray in half and kept closing the distance between Tangela.
"Riolu go for it." Itsuki shouted loudly. Itsuki body was trembling in excitement, he had a wild grin in his face. Zitong's attention was drawn towards Itsuki for a moment before she shifted her gaze at Riolu.

"Riolu!"
Erika just watched in daze as Riolu swung the sword towards Tangela.
Boom!.
The entire battle field was silent. Only heavy breathing sound of Riolu could be heard. Zitong, Erika and the referee looked at Riolu and then looked at the damage Tangela has received.
Tangela body was a mess, her body was dyed red in her own blood. Just a single swing was enough to put Tangela down.

Tangela had lost her consciousness. Seeing this Riolu turned to Itsuki and looked at him with a smile and then he also fainted from exhausting his aura reserve.
Itsuki was also shocked because Riolu's stats had changed. Itsuki could see Riolu's new stats above his head.
"Riolu's level has increased one. Most importantly, he has learned a new move."

"Thank you Riolu. Have a good rest." Itsuki recalled Riolu back to the Pokeball. Erika also recalled her Tangela. "Itsuki this battle has been full of surprises. I wonder what Pokemon you are going to use now."
Erika threw her Pokeball. "Come out Vileplume"
"Erika I promise you this round will be shortest. Come out." Itsuki threw his Pokeball.

Dragonair appeared out of her Pokeball and flew in the air and looked at her opponent Vileplume. Erika and Zitong looked at each other in surprise. Both Erika and Zitong knew that Dragonair is even more rare than a Lucario or Riolu. Dragonair's final evolution power is very monstrous. Even defeating a Dragonair is very difficult.

Dragonair looked at Vileplume from the sky.
Vileplume is purple in color with red eyes and four short limbs. There is also a rafflesia on its head, which is a type of flower known to have a putrid smell. Vileplume are known for their large flower. The flower releases a large amount of pollen in the air when it is flapped. The flapping of the flower can be very loud at times.

"Erika I will start first. Dragonair use rain dance." Itsuki kept his Dragonair, Zera and Marshadow as his backup if either Riolu or Eevee messed up. Itsuki used this battle as a training battle for Eevee and Riolu. Itsuki was willing to take the risk because it's was worth it. Riolu's level increased by one and he even learned a new move. Not only that, Itsuki now had idea for new training ideas to make Zera even stronger.

Dragonair!
Dragonair roared loudly as she summoned dark rain clouds and started the rain. The heavy rain was covering the entire battlefield.
Erika smiled bitterly. Flying type weakness of every grass type Pokemon. She was in natural disadvantage and Itsuki was also using Rain dance to increase Dragonair attack and Agility powers. Not only that those dark cloud would also greatly reduce Solar Beam power by half as the sunlight as been blocked

To Erika this was one sided battle. The winner was already declared but she was not going let her Pokémon get defeated without trying their best.
"Use Moonblast." an orb of pink energy in front of his hands and a illusionary image of moon appeared behind Vileplume.
"Dragonair use Dragon tail."

Dragonair! Dragonair's lower tail part glowed in cyan color as she rushed towards the Vileplume. Dragonair easily destroyed the moon blast with Dragontail then flew towards Vileplume.
Bang!
In the just matter of second the iron tail hit Vileplume and made Vileplume fall on the ground.

Erika could sigh. "As expected Dragonair is very strong. Even it's moves are on different level." Dragonair had used gravity to increase the power of iron tail even more. This was invented by Itsuki during their training session. Itsuki felt that he could increase Dragonair attacks power with help of gravity, the move follows gravity's law.

"Dragonair finish this with Dragon Rush." Dragonair again flew up. Vileplume was injured and couldn't do anything to protect against Dragonair.
Dragonair's body becomes surrounded in a light blue orb with white streaks or its horn glows blue and releases a blue, dragon-shaped energy that covers its body. With a loud roar Dragonair slammed into his opponent with full force.

Boooom!
The entire battlefield shook as dust covered the entire battlefield.
"Vileplume." Erika shouted, her tone was full of worry. Zitong stood up and looked at the scene in front in shock.
When the dust cleared, Dragonair was flying above Vileplume. Vileplume's entire body was covered in blood and had broken several of his bones.

"Vileplume, are you okay?" Erika ran towards Vileplume. Itsuki and Dragonair looked at each other with a guilty.
The referee recovered from the shock and announced. "Winner Kagami Itsuki." Then the referee went to called the Pokémon ambulance so take Vileplume to Pokémon center.

Itsuki walked towards Erika and injured Vileplume. Itsuki bowed his head and sincerely apologize. "I am sorry. I didn't thought using Dragon Rush would hurt Vileplume this badly." Itsuki really didn't know that Vileplume's body would be this weak. It only took 2 moves to defeat a level 34 Pokémon. Even though Dragonair level was higher than Vileplume, Vileplume body structure was too weak to handle Dragonair attacks.

"It's alright. Cancel all the gym battle appointments for next three 3 days. I have to wait till Vileplume and my other Pokémon is recovered." The referee nodded his head in response. Erika then feed a health potion to Vileplume which worked as a first kid and stopped the bleeding. Vileplume was then sent taken to Pokémon center which is near the gym.

Erika wasn't too worried about Vileplume. This wasn't the first time her Pokémon was injured and this won't be the last time either.
Erika then turned to Itsuki and have him the Rainbow Badge. "Itsuki congratulation!"
"Thank you Erika." Itsuki took his sixth badge and put it along with his other five badges in his Badgecase.
"2 more to go." Itsuki smiled thinking how close he was on completing his collection of Kanto league Badges.

Zitong was watching Itsuki's reaction with a smile on her face. "Itsuki which city are you going next?" Erika asked out of curiosity. Zitong was also curious which city Itsuki would go. She was kind of feeling sad since she won't get to trouble this man anymore.
"I am going to Fuchsia City. Koga, he is my next my target." Itsuki was planning on taking a small break after winning his 7th badge and prepare to face Giovanni, his 8th badge.

"Excuse me, I would like to challenge the Celadon city gym now." Itsuki, Erika and Zitong, three of them looked towards the entrance and saw a boy.
'Wait I know him.' Itsuki couldn't believe he would meet someone like him in this region.
"He is....

"Hello I am Cameron from Unova region and I would like to challenge my Celadon gym now." Erika looked at Cameron with a frown, she just told she would not have any Gym battle for next 3 days. While Zitong and Itsuki looked at the boy in front of him.

Cameron is a boy with brown hair and blue eyes. He wears a yellow shirt with orange stripes on his shoulders, a pair of blue shorts, a pair of white socks and orange-black shoes with white soles. He also wears an red-orange headband and a white scarf.
There was a Riolu standing behind Cameron.

"Sorry the gym is closed today. Come again after 3 days." Erika just fought with someone she wasn't in the mood to fight another trainer.
"Nooooo!" Itsuki and Zitong looked at each other with a wary smile. The current Cameron remains Itsuki about the small Ash who was naive, childish, stupid and passionate about Pokémon.
