Decomposition [Pt.3] The Betrayal
As the moonlight hit the battlefield, the battle shifted in good terms as the slayers were accurately able to see the enemy and use the light to their advantage as they could rally and slay in groups.
The battle was now 41:59 with the enemy still winning, but the slayers shifting up.

Meanwhile, with a plan now in store for them to escape the church with everyone, it was broken into 3 parts,
[Marcilina's P-PoV]
leaving the so-called "prayer room" which the children called it, I left to where the kids were in the main area, the nave.
My role in the plan was easy, thanks to my divine mimicry the others won't be able to tell me apart, however, since I have a limited amount of mana since Hiro has yet to ever feed me his essence, I can't pick what I mimic into.
I'm limited to a human form and his complexion makes me look like a lightly tanned human girl, which if I'm going, to be honest, is quite cute compared to my red skin.
Also, there's a limit to how far I can be away from Hiro due to our bond. However, there's a loophole in the connection, and thanks to him ranking up, now I can travel farther, and as long as he doesn't leave the church, I won't be forced into my astral form and transported to him.
Anyways, leaving there I thought the plan would be pretty simple since I had sharpened it up with my godly advice. Which he surprisingly listened to despite him being an idiotic Demon, but I guess he does actually have a brain. Of at least half a brain, he's still stupid.
Walking to a split area I overheard talking and as it was 4 slayers, they discussed noises which came from the prayer room and even that girl Esmee Sanibel was with them,
This isn't going to end well if Hiro and the 2 humans with him are discovered. Because I won't get my essence from him and I'm still going to be hungry, and I'm going to make it everyone's problem if I continue to be hungry.
So for the sake of my food, I'll telepathically notify Hiro to tell them to get on the move.
[Marcilina: ~~~~~ ]
[Hiro: Thanks for the tip, if anything else comes up, notify me]
[Marcilina: Notify yourself asswipe! Be glad you have me to tell you in the first place, I didn't have to!]
Okay, I'm kinda still mad at him, I didn't have to be that mean, but it just happens whenever I talk to him... But it's his fault for not giving me the respect and praise I deserve!

Moving forward I avoided them, and as I went the other way I heard the sounds of voices coming my way and I stuck to the wall and watched as human males which I could have seduced and used as food, ran past me.
If only I jumped out in front of them, I could have used my compulsion ability to make them gangbang me and fill me with power and nutrition.

Shaking my head I feel stupid for thinking that, that ability can only be used once a day, and only if desperate, for fucks sake I'm a goddess, I can't stoop that low.

Hearing the hallway empty I rushed out and ran, turning a few corners right before I heard groups of talking, pained groans, and yelling of healers to hold someone down as they were refusing to be treated.
Peeking my head around the corner I saw that it was the main part of the building and there I saw one of the kids,
could it have been that they were split apart? No, the others must be around here somewhere?
Taking a deep breath as my instinct are going wild and I so want to fuck really really bad, I took a few breaths before walking out and using a breath technique to calm my mind of the impurities I call a fertility gods mind.
Entering the large area, I looked around to see villagers, scared and helpless, slayers, injured and hurt, some even missing limbs, and then healers, they were doing their damn best to help, and I could even see Chloe in the nave treating her team and Zoe who had been bandaged as her shoulder was hurt and her clothes were stained in blood.
Hehehe I wonder if I should go and antagonize them~
No, stop if gal! You have a mission to do, let's go.
Walking past everyone casually going about my business, none of them seemed to bat an eye towards me, they were too busy and the only ones who looked at me was the child I came for.
Walking over to her and stopping right in front of her as she seemed to be sniffling as she had cried beforehand,
"Where are the others? The rest of the children?" Talking in a slow and higher-pitched manner to make my voice sound akin to them, so younger seeing as...
Okay look I get it I'm short,
The little girl looked at me and as tears started filling her eyes, she started crying,
"I don't know, t-t-t-th-th-ey-y jus~~~~~"
She started weeping and I could barely understand what this kid was saying, but from how it seemed she was separated from the rest of them.
This was going to be harder now, what if they were given weapons and told to fight, I've seen it before, it happens, but if that's truly what happened they their good as dead.
I'm a celestial being so my people could survive something like this, no, I know they'd triumph, but they're just small and weak humans, they're just going to die without even putting up a fight.
Anyways, looking away from the kid, I scanned the room, and as I viewed around the room, I looked to the nave where I saw a specific boy who was with a blond-haired boy and girl.
The blond one had a staff in hand and the boy next to him still had the wooden sword in his hand, and then the girl had a real sword at her waist in her scabbard.
Now looking at it a bit more I remembered 2 of them, that boy with the scruffy hair was one of the kids here, his name was genesis, and the girl with the sword was... It was Remi the girl Hiro was obsessed with for a while.
Gazing at them, Remi and the guy whose name was Roy from what I can recall, look alike, could they be siblings.
What the hell am I thinking I'm wasting time.
Walking up to Genesis, I pretended to be a kid since I doubt he could remember all the kids in the village, so I'm going to pretend to be one of the outer villager's kids.
Wait does this place even have an outer part to the village, I wasn't paying attention when floating around, I was more or less counting my days and sleeping,
Ehh, he won't notice
"Um, excuse me but I was told by a lady in silver to join the rest of the kids here, do you know where they are? The brutish men here keep gawking at me and I'm afraid"
Hearing my voice the 3 of them looked at me as they did, Remi's eyes widened, it was clear that I fucked up, she recognized me, but at the same time so did Roy's, but I've never met him so why was he looking at me like that, could it be he was lusting over my beauty? If that's the case then I might just-
"Who the hell was looking at this girl you bunch of perverts! I swear you're all looking to die! Because I'll kill you myself if you dare touch her!!!" Genesis
Oh yeah the mission?... Wait what is he talking about?
Getting out of my head he was looking and yelling at all the men slayers here, and stuff started turning for the worst, he ended up arguing with a slayer or 2,
Wait we're people actually looking at me?
And how can he be that delusional, haha I know I look young, but besides my height, I don't look anywhere like these people,
Gloating because I'm awesome I felt a tough on my arms and as I looked to my left, Roy whispered something to me.
He told me where they were located and as he did I felt happy, unlike the useless boy who made things worst this one actually helped.
Walking away I turned to them and as Roy held a smile on his face, Remi just glared at me... She glared at me hatefully,
So in response, I mouthed to her,
"Watch out, because he's your ex, and he'll be mine soon, very soon"
I knew what I was doing, I was purposefully antagonizing that chick because humans were easy to get to, messing with her was an easy step towards such a larger plan.
Plus Hiro was right, something about her threw me off, yet unlike him, it wasn't uncomfortable, I enjoyed it, and soon I'm going to enjoy her too,
Also that guy Roy, he gave me the same vibe,
I like it and I like them, unlike what others say, I want them both to mingle with his life more often, it'll give me the chance to make things fun.
And I love fun~
Running off I grabbed the crying girl and I traveled to where the kids were, and as I joined them I started telling them the plan, of course, I sugar-coated it became their just dumb human kids and I didn't want them to worry or cry and get scared.
So I made it more believable and just told them that the others were going to take them away from the bad things around here.
But now onto the second part and to grab Genesis, which I'll do later, and if he's bloody or not that may differ seeing as he may be severely beaten up.
Oh wait, another part complete, I stole a sword from one of the hurt slayers my way here, time to give this to Hiro,
Ugh, if only I had half of my power returned to me, then I could just bring stuff with me through astral travel.

Asking of one of the children to fetch Genesis secretly without actually telling him the truth because he was a hot-headed idiot, which they agreed on her with, she then left and brought the stolen slayer sword to Hiro.
Rallying behind the church without being caught, they needed to mobilize a plan on how they were actually going to escape the village.
There was a battle going on and only one of them had a real sword, it was too risky to grab any more seeing as Marcilina couldn't see any openings, so they needed to find the safest way to cross the village.
But then Makila who was ignoring the questionive Genesis thought about using a rope, the walls were big because of the thick logs used, so all they needed was to make or find a rope.
Which was a perfect idea, however it made both Marcilina and Hiro have to run inside and sneak around to the rooms to grab enough sheets for them to make some.

They were successful and as they came back with many sheets and no rope, they all started working on making a strong and useable rope.
They were able to make 2 long sheet ropes, but as for the 3rd one, it was unusable as it was of squalid quality and easily tore, so they couldn't make the full role with 3 knots to use to climb easier.
However with the 2 knots in place and them using a large rock to tie onto and throw over,
Only one of the older kids needed to climb over first and then jump down from the top, and then catch the younger kids when they jumped down.
And because Hiro had the sword, he was the first to climb and jump down, meaning he could battle if anything was around and then catch or just catch if there was none.
This was mainly Marcilina's plan, so she had encouraged all of this so she could be fed,

Climbing over and easily got over thanks to being fully healed back in the prayer room, which he still didn't understand because no one actually told him how he magically recovered.
He then proceeded to tell them it was clear and after many moments of catching them all, Marcilina who climbed last jumped down and into his arms where she proceeded to wrap her arms around him and be seductive, yet he didn't see what she was trying to and put her down.
And here she thought she could just have a bit of fun and flirt before her soon-to-be happy reward, but Nooooo and she had to resist her instincts even more instead of releasing a tiny bit of its passion.

Running through the forest they kept going for 28 minutes before they were forced to take a rest and then continue for another 21.
But in all of those moments, they hadn't run into a single monster, the forest was silent as if they were being hunted, but as Hiro led them to the way of Nefumia, Marcilina was in the back, they hadn't seen anything anywhere?
There were no animals, no insects, no freaks or monsters, what the hell? Something was up but at the same time something wasn't.
But then a theory came into Hiro's head and could it have been that it was because the monsters and freaks were attacking the forest and there was a very cold wind from the north that even chilled him?
It was all quite unclear, but who knows, so they continued their travels.

They continue their travels until were that the village walls? Holy shit it was!
They went in a loop and as they saw the banks of genuine monsters, they backed away and turned around, sneaking away before the monsters noticed and attacked.
Running away for a solid few moments they were far out of distance, so far that all they felt was chilling breezes, and they set camp for the night, but without light, and the 5 oldest kept guard.
They could only hope the clouds didn't come back and the moonlight kept around till dawn because they were fucked otherwise.
But till then, the kids bundled together to keep warm and the others sat together as they took turns keeping watch,
First up was Marcilina, next was Genesis, and last was Hiro.

Time passed and as it had, Hiro got up as it was his turn to keep watch.
Marcilina held back from being seductive as she just needed to wait a bit longer... Plus she asked beforehand when it was her turn and he said he'd double the reward if she just waited longer, so she was happy despite knowing he didn't know.
Walking away from the group as Hiro had to take a leak, he finished up and was coming back to them when he suddenly heard crackling in the bushes,
Turning to where it came from and drawing the sword, he readied himself for whatever it was to lunge at him.
But then he heard a voice and a head popped out of the bushes,
"Hold up it's just your girlfriend dumbass" Girlfriend?
Walking out of the bushes it was Zoe Michaelson, and as she seemed to be hurt as she had an arm injury and blood on her white slayer uniform which seemed to be given to the heretic slayers like her. He lowered his guard.
"Holy shit your eyes are red? Oh and yeah I can see you, I know a night-vision spell which is a bit iffy" Zoe
But as she said that a large (?) appeared above his,
"How did you find me? No, wait? Why are you here? I heard about the slayers coming to Sekouko but that doesn't explain why you're not on the battlefield or resting" Hiro
"First of all shit head, you are not hurt so why aren't you on the battlefield?" Zoe
"I was already on a mission, way before you and the slayers arrived here"
"oh really? What was it, skipping out on class, you know I should be scolding you for that, right" Zoe
But as she said that and approached him he scratched his cheek and said confidently,
"But I'm on a mission?" Hiro
"That's no excuse, you didn't notify me and so it doesn't count" Zoe
With her stopping in front of him, he realized that he really hadn't told her or any of his teachers and that made his expression broaden as he realized that if he didn't give them notice, they'd consider it skipping, and they can hold him back... Probably...
Because then again it was college and they didn't give a flying fuck, but the slayer classes were different,
"Wait how many days have I missed! It's not enough to fail your class is it!" Hiro
But as he said that all flustered and thinking about how not to stay in school longer than he had to, She then grinned.
Looking up at him she then said with a happy face.
"You're already failing my class" Zoe
"I am!" He was acting like he don't know this already, he sucked at schooling, and he was gone for a long time.
Looking up at him with a happy expression she said mockingly,
"However, you have only one chance to redeem yourself, answer this one question, and I'll overlook and pass someone as incompetent as you" Zoe
Hearing that he gleamed "Okay I'll do my best" And then pumped himself up to get a free pass.
She then said,
"Who slaughtered and left one survivor in the Ohuran Massacre?"
But as she said that he was confused, she had never thought about his class this and if she did he wasn't there.
"I'm afraid I wasn't there when you taught this? I have no idea... sigh, I was really hoping to pass"
But as he said that she smiled even more and put her hands behind her back as she leaned in and sexily got closer to him.
"How about I make it easier" Zoe
"Which Natsu slaughtered an entire division of Necromancers and left one sole survivor" Zoe
"A survivor who stands in front of the murderer of her faction, her family, her friend, and all the people she had ever loved" Zoe
Hearing these words come out of her mouth, his eyes broadened and before he saw it coming, she had stabbed him in the chest with a dagger.
*Ugh!*
"That survivor is me, and this is my revenge on you, Hiro Natsu, the murderer who committed genocide on my faction under the great litch Aphrodite" Zoe
Saying that she grabbed his sword and swiftly stabbed him with it as she had prepared a paralysis spell for whenever she touched him.
This was her revenge, she didn't care how useful he was to her as a slayer, she saw the chance and took it as she saw and followed them out of the village,
"Your over"

But it wasn't the end, she might have stopped his heart with her dagger, she may have killed him, but it wasn't over.
This wasn't over

With His Magic Pool being invaded by Magic Energy, the center of the Magic pool started to mutate and adapt to a more proficient Magic flow after his revival by the Devine energy.
When he was revived despite a dagger and sword still being logged into his body, the metal of the blade stated turning orange as his body suddenly burst into scarlet red flames melting the blades.
His blood and flesh started sizzling and steaming and before he knew it, his body could no longer be seen past the flames as they were so read that they weren't transparent.
But then the flames suddenly expanded in a cloak of energy fire and them it hardened like red crystals and started turning black as he was them yet again.
Consumed by a cocoon of darkness.

[Step 1 completed, be infused with Devine darkness]
Opening his eyes inside the cocoon of Darkness there was a bloody scarlet glow in his eyes an they screamed Destruction as the crystal black cocoon started to crack.
Suddenly an tail popped out of where his tail nub was, but this was a different tail, this was long, thin, and armored, with a spike at then end and it was sharp as a steele dagger.

[Marcilina: What the hell are you doing! There's monsters all around and I can't fight them on my own! Hurry your ass back to us before they all die!]
