Victoria's fury.

"How can you tell me none of you saw the two of them leaving, don't we pay you, is all you do just sit around?" Victoria screamed once again.

She had had been yelling out her frustration for a while now. Lynn was taken out of the house by Mai. She was in a bad condition and she was already sick.

No that she cared, outsiders weren't supposed to find out anything about Lynn's health situation as it could cause issues.

What baffled her was why the servants claimed not to have seen anything.

Lynn was ill and Mai wasn't strong enough to carry her out fast enough without being noticed.

To make the situation worse, the CCTV cameras didn't see anything because Mai must have avoided them since she knew the house well.

Of all things, she never expected Lynn to be saved by Mai. If Lynn was taken to hospital, they were going to find out something was so wrong with her.

She always knew that Mai was a problem. Out of all the people in the house, she was Lynn's closest ally.

"My love, sit down for a bit," Nicholae said to his wife. He was tired of the noise and constant movements Victoria made. Women worried too much,he was certain they would get feedback because they sent people to look for Mai and Lynn.

Not just anybody but the best investigators they could find. He didn't take the matter lightly but was still confident enough that nothing would go wrong.

Him and Victoria, however much he didn't want to admit, were getting older. Stress wasn't good health wise.

"Nic, I don't know how you and your son can still sit down comfortably," Victoria complained hearing his words.

Her husband was seated calmly and advising her to relax while her son was least concerned about anything.

Ze Li didn't even look surprised to know his wife went missing nor was he panicking about anything going wrong.

Julius,is everybody here? she asked her husband's assistant. He had been assigned to get all the other workers to come so Victoria can personally interrogate them.

Yes, ma'am,he replied.

Victoria started looking at the servants as she tried to find out who could be lying. Something didn't seem right about nobody knowing.

Her son didn't trust people so he had few workers. The servants were only a handful considering how big his house was. The workers were also changed at monthly basis and hadn't lasted long except for Mai.

Thinking of that woman again, Victoria frowned. Mai was the longest serving worker. She always wondered why she was special but had never asked.

Victoria thought that maybe Ze kept her because she was a spy working under him because Lynn trusted her.

Unfortunately,her carelessness was haunting her.

Mr. Fang, the driver, was guilty. He had seen Mai and Lynn leaving infact,he escorted them. Mai asked for his help and he couldn't refuse because Lynn was a good person.

Even if she wasn't a good person, he would still help her anyway because she was in need.

When Mai asked for his help, she was sweating and crying. Her clothes were stained with a bit of blood.

He had never really talked to Mai but they were on good terms with each other and greeted each other whenever they met.

She first asked him whether he was willing to help her. She didn't tell him with what until she was sure.

Mai hurriedly explained a bit of the situation to him about how she saw Ze Li leaving the room and finding Lynn on the ground.

Even though right now it was just a guess, nothing could justify the fact that he must have seen her lying on the ground and he left her there.

Ze Li also hadn't visited nor called her a doctor ever since she got ill.

Also, Ze Li's treatment towards his wife wasn't the best. He hadn't tried violence but he treated her just like any other person he knew.

In the cab, Lynn was lying on Mai's lap motionlessly throughout the journey and hadn't made any movements. He even feared that she was dead but fortunately she was still breathing till he left them at the clinic.

He doesn't know what happened afterwards after leaving them at the clinic because he had to go back to work as soon as possible. His shift wasn't done yet and it would cause suspicion if they noticed that he left work all of a sudden.

Remembering the images then,he felt like crying for the lady. The worst that could happen to him for what he did could be losing his job but he no longer cared. He didn't want to work for ruthless people just for money,if they could hurt their own, what of strangers.

"He's the driver," he woke up from his trance after hearing the question directed at him. Victoria had reached near where he stood and was giving him a condensing look. She also looked like she didn't want to waste her time on him and like he was some sort of garbage.

He slightly bowed his head and avoided her gaze before she left and went to the next person.

In Lynn's Hospital room.

Martin Lorrie stared at the young girl who had just spoken about not letting Lynn leave. She wasn't someone he had seen anywhere so he was confused.

Daisy and Margaret entered the room not long after Lee entered.

"Did you tell her?" Margaret asked Daisy. Her previous disappointed look was replaced by curiosity.

"Girl,I hope you are not a liar now,"she said.

Daisy avoided everybody's looks most especially Lee's confused look.

Yesterday, she had found out about Lynn belonging to the Lorrie family. Lorenzo agreed to treat Lynn but he first conducted investigations to know more about her. It was a precautional procedure before he started treating her.

She was their daughter who hadn't been on good terms with her family for a while.

Ever since she married Ze Li, she had distanced herself from them because they disapproved of the marriage from the very beginning.

The Silver family and Lorrie family are businesses partners and friends who were almost family so they were disappointed in Daisy for knowing the truth and hiding it.
