Chapter 39: My life at the castle.

Just as I was about to scold Stefan for ever giving that proposal, a lady's voice stopped me. I turned to see Maggret standing in the midst of them. "They mean no harm, they are visitors." She told them and all of them pulled back their guns.

We were taken to the witch's coven, and while we walked behind Maggret, I noticed some people glaring at us, I mean Stefan. Even Maggret was not pleased to see him.

We reached the castle in no time, I stood and observed the castle, I was astonished at how big and magnificent it looked.

I had been kidnapped by the hunters, observed how good the buildings were, then I was taken by the vampires, very big with some great ancient stuff on the walls, and this is the third mansion, um castle I had come across with.

"I want to pretend that you didn't just ask us to sleep in the same room." I said, looking at Maggret, a giggle from Stefan made me turn to glare at him.

"There's no room for the hunter boy, princess. Unless you want him to sleep at your doorstep." I scoffed, shaking my head at Stefan.

"Why don't you take him to the dungeon?." I asked, and Maggret snorted a laugh.

Stefan's countenance changed and he had a frown on his face. "I was teasing." I defended, pushed him behind and walked into the room. This is how it feels when you're hated by everyone, when you are not wanted around.

The next morning, I woke up early at 6.am. I had to freshen up before Stefan woke up and I was going to see Maggret at her office this morning. I was glad to finally get my clothes back. Maggret had had them get my things from grandparents house to the castle.

I walked out of the room and met a girl standing by the door. I wasn't expecting to see anyone standing by my door this morning. "Good morning, miss Elena." She greeted me politely. "Good morning."

"I'm Ava by name. I came to take you to my mom's office if you don't mind." She said, I nodded, "Thank you, Ava."

We walked down the stairs together, I admired the cohesive structure of the building and extravagant expenses made. As we both made it down the stairs, Ava never relented to make sure I was careful with the stairs, she would turn at intervals to make sure I was following up.

"So you're Mrs Maggret's daughter." I said, trying not to make our small walk awkwardly quiet. She smiled, "Yes. I am."

She was beautiful, with cute black eyes, bob rounded hair and a dark caramel skin. She doesn't look like her mother.

"I'd like to say you're a very young girl. How do you cope?." She asked. Perplexed, I wanted her to shade more light on what she asked me.

"Cope with the fact that the whole world looks up to you to stop the war." I shrugged, well everyone keeps telling me that, and it still sounded like nonsense. "Wait, Ava?." I called her, she stopped and turned.

"Is this why your mom called me?." I questioned, rubbing my hands in anticipation. "I do not know." She simply replied and started walking ahead of me.

We reached Mrs Maggie's office and stood outside the closed door, a loud displeasing voice was heard inside. We heard clashing of things before the door finally opened, and we walked in. I started running my eyes over the office, papers littered on the floor, a guy sitting leg crossed at the couch, a lady picking up the papers and Mrs Maggie breathing effortfully over the chair.

I noticed how the guy in his twenties looked at me, making me uncomfortable. "You're not ashamed, Ethan. How dare you even think of that?." Maggret began, getting back his attention. I heaved a long sigh as he looked away, with his lust filled eyes.

"I was having fun, mom." He shrugged and rolled his eyes. "A fun with a vampire girl?." She yelled and hit her hand on the desk making my heart fly. I've never seen someone this angry. "The other day, it was a were wolf timid girl, I warned you about it and this time, a fucking demon. An enemy." She fumed and pointed at the front door, "Get out." She snapped.

He stood up, looking unbothered, the heck!. You're lucky she's not Julia's mom, you would have been long slapped out of your stupidity.

"Mind you, you are not allowed to step out of the clan. And I do not want to see your face until I call you back." She added before he finally leaves the office.

"Ava, Elena. Come back later in the evening." She ordered and swiveled her chair to turn her back on us.

Opening the door to the room, I breathed out, closed my eyes and pressed my hand to my chest, such drama.

"Where are you coming from?." I snapped my eyes open to see Stefan lying half naked on the bed.

"What the heck!!. Stefan, get yourself covered, now!." I shouted at him and used my hand to cover my face. "Really?." He chuckled.

Few seconds later, I feel Stefan trodding in front of me. "What are you doing, Stefan?." I demanded, trying really hard to resist his overwhelming smell. He took out my hand from my face and pressed it down to his bare chest. "Look at me, Sweetie." He muttered, and I felt an electrifying shock burst out of me. I tried to resist this tempting, endearing man but couldn't.

He comes further so that there is not any space left between us, he kisses the back of my hand and puts it over his head to his shoulder, he snakes his hand around my tiny waist and pushes me forward so that we could both feel our breath.

"You're beautiful, mate. Do you want this?." He asked huskily. I could feel he was trying to be respectful though he was fighting an internal battle over his way with me this instant.

I cleared my throat, "I'm a virgin."

What?, wrong timing.

Stefan ignored me and used his other hand to bring down my top. I was bare, in his arms, shyly using my hair to cover my face.

He carried me in his arms to the bed and laid me carefully on the bed. I could feel his bare flesh against mine and I felt warm under him. I wanted us to stay like this forever.
