I looked back and forth quickly as my mind raced, and I stopped on the Squirtle. Not sure what to do, I just grabbed the creature and flipped it over, shaking him vigorously.
"What are you doing to Randy?!" Jackie cried out.
She pulled back from me in shock, but that was right when the Squirtle coughed out the glass crystal container. The creature started to cough, and slipped out of my hand, and then fell on his head, but retracted his body into his shell quickly.
Before either of us had a chance to react, Randy sprung out of his shell. There was something black and sharp looking in his tiny hand.
I reached out to the side for my Ball Wacker Staff but then stopped and groaned deeply as I watched Randy put the black point shades of one of the Squirtle Gang. Oh, this was going to be good, but I dropped my hand.
If this Pokémon tried any attack, I could just fry his brain with my Psychic Wave again. So it was easy to say that I was surprised at what Randy did next.
"Are you okay?! Did this guy hurt you?! Do you need me to fight him?" Randy asked as he looked between Jackie and me.
Jackie was standing up, and she was glaring at me. I was curious to see what would happen next, but I was prepared to do what I had to.
"I am fine, but why are you still here? Your Poké ball was destroyed, so why are you still sticking around here?!" Jackie said in a harsh voice that almost sounded forced.
There was something strange about this girl. After seeing what kind of monster Professor Oak was, I assumed that everyone would be like him.
"What?! We can find another ball! Why do I need a ball to want to stay with the person that has been with me my entire life since the Squirtle Gang! You know how bad of a Pokémon I am! Anyone would have left me to end up as food like most of the others did!" Randy shouted in a small voice that was reminiscent of the tone he used as a normal Pokémon.
Jackie's eyes filled with tears, but she also looked like she was getting mad. I wasn't sure what I was supposed to do in a situation like this, but then my pocket started to vibrate, so I pulled out Dirty Harry.
I closed Harry back up and then put him back into my pocket as I looked into Jackie's tear-filled eyes that were leaking down her face. I could clearly see she was getting mad, but those eyes were scared and confused, meaning there was some kind of war that was going on inside of her.
"Do you really like being angry? Do you stay down here because you like being alone?" I asked Jackie, and she turned to glare at me, but then I stuck my hand out to the side, summoning my staff, and said, "Look, you can use this if you really want him to go, and then can hit him enough times till he leaves."
Randy cut her off before Jackie could answer, shouting, "You would have to kill me to get me to leave!"
"See? Since he won't leave, then use this to beat him to death, or I can just knock him out again and then toss him into the water," I told Jackie. The tears started to pour harder, but the chiseled anger was stone on her face and unchanging.
Randy now didn't look so sure of himself, but he still came forward and said, "Listen, we can get a new Poké Ball, just don't make me go! We have been through so much, and I would sooner die rather than have to live in this world without you around me! I am your Pokémon; don't you remember when you pushed the Poké ball to my head that day?"
Jackie fell to the ground and put her face in her hands as she started to sob and shake.
Randy tried to run to her, but the Ball Wacker Staff was already blocking him. The Squirtle looked up at me confused, but I shook my head to him and then focused on Jackie.
"You have two choices here, and the first one is straightforward, and the second will be very hard. You can kill Randy because I will not allow you to capture him again, even if he wants you to. The second choice is that you fight whatever is trying to make you hate someone that you clearly love and have given up your own dreams for!" I explained, but I left out a few crucial parts, for now, that could come after this step.
Jackie was still crying, but I could tell that she was trying to get it together. I didn't let the staff down, nor did I relax; I was ready to do what I needed to do.
I wasn't going to start threatening people's lives or forcing them into having sex with me; this was never going to work if I had to become the villain. There were going to be people like this that danced the line, and if I could get them to come back, great.
If I couldn't, then there were only two ways things could end; I force my seed into them, or I kill them. I would kill before I forced myself on anyone, but maybe I could figure out a better way to do things.
"How do I stop it?! How can I stop wanting to be so mean?!" Jackie cried out as she lifted her head from her hand to look up at me, and I smiled.
That was what I was waiting for, but I was not sure how good of an idea this was. I needed to knock Jackie out to get her back to the laboratory, which was the best idea that I had.
I whirled and put my ass in Jackie's stunned face, and before she could react, I roared out, "TAIL WHIFF!"
