It was just another day at my high school until an accidental encounter led to the demise of the Demon Lord. Yes, I'm responsible for that. Now, I find myself bound to him, burdened with an outrageous task that only a madman would consider.

My dreams of becoming the strongest Hunter Monarch, equipped with the finest system, and uncovering the whereabouts of my missing father, will have to be set aside for now. My current priority is to rid the world of Demon-possessed humans.

My name is Jin Wrack, and at the mere age of 17, I bear an immense responsibility. This ordeal will unfold as a battle royale, or rather, a 'Hunters Royale,' pitting me and my allies against the rest of the world.

The outcome is uncertain. Will I emerge victorious, or will the combined might of my enemies overwhelm me? Only time holds the answer.

Hunters Royale

Wait, weren't you afraid of him? Weren't you afraid that you'll be caught if you used my powers a few minutes ago?] 


"Ah, Yes, I was afraid. I was afraid because it could've put Toby and Joe in danger. But now, as I've already taken care of that problem..." 


Jin grinned as he said. he turned his head towards William, who was nodding his head in approval of Jin's actions. 


William said as he nodded his head. His lips were arched down and his eyebrows were arched just like a professor would have if he witnessed his student solve a relatively tough question on the blackboard. 


"You followed rule number 2 perfectly" 


"Get rid of people who could get in your way, before your enemies do" 


William chuckled as he continued nodding his head. 


He did not give importance to the transformed man behind him, instead, William's body was completely turned against Bauer. 


He now looked at Jin, who was returning him a gaze that was, obviously, a puzzled one. 


William had his arms crossed as he spoke to Jin. 


While William was chatting with Jin, The man behind him, Bauer, began to become restless. 


Bauer's new form consisted of 5 percent of his human looks and 95 percentage of the monster look a fantasy writer would imagine for his new work. 


He had two small horns, each around 5 centimeters protruding from his forehead, and his grey old hair had overgrown to an extent that it reached just below his hips. 


His red torso illuminated and his bottoms were covered in pants that were ripped below his knees. 


His arms had grown in length and his fingers had as well. The fingernails were from an entirely new dimension as they gleamed black and deadly in the evening sunlight. 


His face, which was the 5 percent of the human part he attained still had a huge modification. 


Two fangs, each of two centimeters, were ready to see blood as he bared it at the oblivious back of William Watts. 


His eyes had completely turned white, causing him to lose both his pupils and irises. The only thing his eyes now consisted of was of the two white eyeballs which were fixed tightly into his sockets, which were amazingly not wrinkled despite his age, which was possibly above 50. 


Altogether, Bauer's new form had successfully redefined a Devil's true manifestation. 


But, Nothing of it mattered to the man before him, because William was obviously shouting out 'You are weak' to Bauer without even parting his mouth. 


The ignorant actions of the olive skinned man flipped Bauer's switch on, more like broke it as he rushed forward for the kill in mind blowing speed with his death seeking fingernails brandished before his eyes. 


Jin, who was puzzled by William's words, was quick to spot Bauer make his move, but he failed to act quick enough as he figured, his body was not as fast as his new, evolved eyes were. 


Everything, even time fell in slow motion as the startling events took place. 


Bauer, with his new Demon boost, defied physics as he materialized right behind William. 


William, on feeling the gust of wind hit his back, turned his head at the same speed Bauer moved, which threw Bauer off his composure. 


Bauer, who was thrown off of his composure, hesitated, making his attack miss his target's head and go for the extended arm William had put up for defense. 


I know it's a bit short. That's why I'm gonna release a second chapter right now.
