NEW REALITY

(SEOKJIN'S POV)

I knock softly on Taehyung's door, but he doesn't say anything. I press the door's handle and open the door slowly. Taehyung is laying on the bed, looking at the closet.

"Can I come in?" I ask.

He doesn't say anything, but he doesn't refuse either. I walk towards the bed and sit near his feet.

I caress his left leg. "Do you need something?" I ask, trying to look at his face.

He shakes his head.

I look around his room, it isn't as tidy as the others. The clothes are on the floor and his room looks more antiquated than the other ones. Maybe is because of Taehyung's mood, but it seems darker, even though the window doesn't have any curtains to stop the sunlight.

I spot the paper next to him and I grab it.

He didn't write anything.

"Are you sure you don't need anything?" He shakes his head again.

"Do you mind if I stay here? Yoongi is making lunch now. Are you hungry?"

He doesn't say anything, again. I walk towards the desk, near the window, and sit on the chair. I grab the pen I used before from the pocket of my jeans. I write the things he may need or want, in silence. I'll make sure to buy everything I wrote down for Taehyung.

"Guys, food's ready." Namjoon says, standing in the doorframe, and the smell of tteokbokki makes its way to the room.

"Finally, I'm starving," I say. I extend my hand to Taehyung. "Come, you need to eat something." He grabs my hand and gets up off the bed. I smile, I thought he would ignore me. Namjoon gives us a small smile while he lets us get out of the room.

"Is it tteobokki?" Taehyung asks, when we reach the kitchen.

"Yeah." I say.

Taehyung sits next to me and I smile. I'm glad he didn't push me away, I'm worried about him since the night I saw Jimin with Jungkook. I knew it would affect him, but it seems he's hurting even more. I still don't know how he knows it, but I hope they make up soon, I hate the tension in the air every time we're together. Every time Jimin and Taehyung are together.

(NAMJOON'S POV)

We ended up splitting into three groups. I'm with Seokjin, we're buying stuff for ourselves, we'll buy the stuff for the apartment on the internet, since we're in charge of the redecoration.

"Joonie, can we go in here? There's a coat I would like to try on, it looks expensive, though." He says, pouting.

I look at the showcase, it does looks expensive. But I know how much he likes American coats. "We can take a look if you want, love." I say. It doesn't matter if I spend more money than I should, his happiness is one of my top priorities.

We enter the small boutique, there're a few more people, but it's not as full as the other ones. A young man with chocolate hair approach us.

"Good afternoon, may I help you?" He accommodates his glasses.

"I would like to try on a coat. Do you know where I can find it?" Seokjin says, looking around.

The man giggles. "I can help you, but may I know how it looks like?"

"Yes, sorry." Seokjin says, his cheeks kind of red. I can't believe it. I look at the man from head to toe. I roll my eyes. Whatever. "It's an American coat, a light brown one."

"Follow me, please."

I walk right behind Seokjin towards the coats section.

"We've two different models. Would you like to try the two of them?"

"Um. . ." Seokjin looks at me, asking for advice.

"Go on." I say.

"I would like to try both." Seokjin says.

The man grabs the first one. "Let me help you." He says.

Seokjin has been trying on the two coats for ten minutes. The worker helps him every time to put on and take off the pieces of clothes, as if Seokjin was a little kid. I sigh, rolling my eyes again. I don't know if he's doing his job or flirting with my boyfriend anymore.

"Jin, I think you should buy the first one, it looks better on you." I say, tired of waiting. But I really think he looks better in the first one. It's longer and the buttons are quite bigger. I also like the honey brown buttons more than the black ones in the second coat.

"Really?" He says, looking himself in the mirror once again. He's wearing the second one.

"I think he looks good in both." The guy says, smiling.

"Yeah, but I think the first one fits him better. What do you think?" I say, looking at Seokjin.

He looks at me through the mirror. "I think I'll get the first one, it's the one I wanted in the first place."

"Fate." The guy says.

When we leave the shop, I don't forget to put my arm in Seokjin's waist. I'm used to all Seokjin's pretenders, he's the most handsome man in Third Heaven (I'm sure he's also in the earth), but people already know he has a boyfriend. But not here, not in the human world. I caught five people checking him out in the first three minutes of being outside.

(YOONGI'S POV)

Jimin and I finish sooner than we expected. We bought the charges for our phones, some things for the kitchen and some clothes. Jimin also bought a neckless for Taehyung. I don't want to break his heart, but I don't think he can't give it to him anytime soon.

We keep walking around the streets, searching for restaurants, there're a lot, actually. One of the shops catches my attention, a music store.

"Do you want to go in there?"

Jimin turns around, sighting. "Go, I'll wait here." He says, sitting on a bench. "My feet hurt."

I scoff, we haven't walked that far. "Don't move, I'll be back in a minute. Take care of the bags."

I open the door and a bell ring sound. The place is little and I can spot easly the guitar. The instruments are placed based on their family group.

I walk towards the black guitar that caught my attention. I look around for someone, but the place is empty. I shrug, admiring the instrument, I look at the price, too expensive.

I walk towards the counter and I see a man kneeling, doing something on the floor. I clear my throat, but he doesn't notice my presence.

"Excuse me."

The man gets up quickly, hitting his head on the desk. He caresses his black hair and I can hear him swearing, before he looks at me. "Can I help you?"

"Yeah, I would like to know if you make reservations."

"What would you like?" He says, grabbing a paper.

"The black guitar over there." I say, looking at its direction. "Do you know if that's possible?"

"Wait a moment, please."

He checks something in the computer, I guess he's looking if someone has already booked it. "You're lucky, we have one left." He smiles and I nod. "You have a month, if you don't buy it you have to come back and book it again before someone else does. Do you have any questions?"

"No."

"I will need a name, please."

"Min Yoongi."

"Sign right here, please." He hands me a pen and the paper.

I sign and return him the paper.

"That's all. Will you need anything else?"

"No."

"Thank you for your booking, then. We hope you come back."

I nod and leave the store, hearing another ring bell. I walk towards Jimin, who's looking at his dead phone.

"What are you doing?" I chuckle, sitting next to him.

"Nothing." He puts his phone in his pocket. "Come on, everyone is waiting for us." He starts walking.

"How do you know it?" I say, holding back a laugh.

"Intuition."

I shake my head and I get up, running a little to catch him.

(JUNGKOOK'S POV)

Jimin and Yoongi took twenty minutes to come back to the building. Namjoon was stressed and Hoseok paranoid.

"What took you so long?" Namjoon asks, when they approach us.

"Yoongi wanted to buy a guitar." Jimin says.

"Did you buy a guitar?" Namjoon raises an eyebrow.

"No," Yoongi says. "I booked one."

"Why? We can't waste money."

"Buying myself a guitar, it's not wasting money. I like playing the guitar and you know that. I think it's time to have my own." He says, walking towards our apartment.

They keep arguing all the way up, but they stop when we arrive. Taehyung's not in the living room nor in the kitchen. He probably stayed all this time in his room.

"Oh guys, I bought different colours to dye our hair. I thought someone would like it." Hoseok says, placing them in the living room table.

Yoongi grabs the black one and goes to his room. Jimin also goes down the hallway, but he knocks on Taehyung's door. I run towards him, I hope Taehyung doesn't open the door.

"Jimin!" I whisper yell. "What are you doing?"

Jimin grabs my arm and separates us a little from Taehyung's door.

"I want to talk to him. Has something happened?"

I shake my head. "Can I talk to him first? I think it will be easy for you later if he already knows my reason. Please." I look at him with puppy eyes and he seems to understand me.

"Be gentle, okay?"

I nod.

Jimin walks towards his room and I knock on Taehyung's door again. I play with my hands as I wait for him to open the door, but he doesn't. I don't really know how to say it, I only hope he understands me and forgives Jimin. I'll break my friendship with both of them if it's necessary.

I knock four more times and in the fifth he opens the door, but tries to close it again when he sees it's me. I stop him putting my food in between.

"I need you to listen to me, please. Hurting you was never my intention." I say.

"Go kiss Jimin and let me alone."

"Please, don't hurt yourself more. All of it has an explanation, you need to know how I feel, please. Everything is because of my stupid feelings and you need, deserve to know what really happened."

He opens the door again, aggressively.

"Do you want to know how I feel?" He yells and I look at the floor. My eyes start filling up with tears. "I feel like shit, and it's all your fucking fault. Why did you have to kiss Jimin, huh?"

"Just this time, please." I whisper, still looking at my feet.

I don't know if it's because he hears me sniffing or because he's getting tired of me, but much to my surprise, he lets me in.

He closes the door and I wait for him to say something, but he's staring at me with his arms crossed up to his chest.

"Can we sit down?" My voice sounds as weak as I feel right now.

He rolls his eyes, but he sits on his bed and I sit in front of him, keeping the distance. I look at the window, the sky is pink, some fluffy clouds make the view better.

"I don't have all day."

"Sorry." I whisper and I start playing with my fingers. "I don't really know how to tell you this, but I'm polyamorous." I close my eyes, although I'm not looking at him.

"A what?"

I already supposed he doesn't know what it is yet. I look at him, trying to focus on my breath. "It's the word people use to describe a person who likes two or more people at the same time. Their kind of relationship also has a name, poly relationships, three or more people dating at the same time. There are different situations, though. Not every poly relationship is the same."

He stays silent for a few seconds. "I don't understand what it has to do with you and Jimin. . ." He pauses and looks away, "Have been kissing in secret."

"First of all, it was only a kiss two days ago. Second, you need to talk about this with Jimin, but I want you to know that my intention never was to steal Jimin away from you. He loves you Taehyung, he likes you."

He rolls his eyes. "Whatever."

"But the real reason I'm here is because I need you to know how I feel." I take deep breaths. "Taehyung, I'm polyamorous."

He blinks a few times with a frown, but he doesn't interrupt me. "It's true, I like Jimin, I told him- Well, I showed him I like him, but I also like you, Taehyung." I finish the sentence in a whisper, I look at my hands and my cheeks burn.

We stay in silence for a few minutes, I don't dare to look at him, even though I can feel his stare. He shifted a few times. I keep my head low, but I move my eyes to see him. His eyes are wide open, his mouth closed.

I imagine he would never expect this, even in a hundred of years. Taehyung is cutely closed in his relationship with Jimin, he really never pays attention to the outside world when it comes to their relationship. I know he also saw me as his best friend, his cute best friend. I don't know if he's more shocked because I like both of them, or because me, that was supposed to be only his little best friend, likes him.
