Not only did she spontaneously decide to pull Aiden along with her schemes of trying to make Samuel believe that she had moved on from him and wanted him no longer in her life (which was partially true), she just had to drag Aiden to the mess that she created despite not talking to him for over a whole year after that one conversation that they had after Aiden's evil grandmother left.

Fortunately, Aiden didn't seem to be very disturbed by how he was suddenly caught in the mess that Laia made and instead was looking at her at the moment with concern on his face.
