Though the four had left, the tribe didn’t let their guard down. They knew Jolon would come there first. They knew he would be angry. They had to be ready for anything.
The women continued to circle the sky looking for anything that looked out of place. The men kept their patrol up which included bringing in a few relatives that had left the area. Several families received visitors that helped them out. When Tahnee wasn’t flying or catching up on sleep, she, along with several other women, kept drink and food available for everyone.
It would be tiring trying to balance their daily jobs and keep up on their lookouts, but no one complained. They knew what the risks were and were not willing to let Jolon kill anyone else. They also knew it was very likely he would attack first. No one fully knew what they were dealing with yet.
