"Mr. Harrison," I began, my gaze stuck on the sheet of papers in my hand, "It's time we collect what's owed to us."
At the sound of my words, Colin sat up in his seat, his eyes trained on me with a keen interest. He knew exactly what I was referring to. "Understood, boss," he said, his voice firm and resolute. With a quick nod, he rose from his chair and made his way towards the door, ready to carry out my orders.
"Colin," I called out just as he reached the threshold. He paused, his hand resting on the doorknob, and turned to look back at me. "Handle it quietly," I warned, my voice calm. "No drama." He simply nodded in response, his expression resolute, before slipping out the door. That man was always by my side, always ready to carry out my commands, he reminds me of a puppy, although he is a sturdy and disobedient pup at times.
I chuckled at the image, but thoughts about Harrisons debt started to linger in my head. Letting out a deep sigh, I leaned back in my chair, my mind focused on the matter at hand. It was time to take care of business, I couldn't afford to let anyone else learn from Harrison's mistakes. It was time to take care of business.

It was late into the night, and I was buried deep within a sea of papers, when a knock at my door interrupted my work.
"Come in," I called out, my eyes briefly catching sight of one of Colin's younger hounds before he entered the room.
"Boss, we brought her in," he announced. I rose from my seat as he leadeth me to 'her'. When I walked in I froze, it wasn't the woman that I was told about, maybe a disguise? In front of me was sitting a young woman, tied up to the chair. Colin hovering over her, he was holding her cheeks clearly annoyed.
"Colin." I said, he clicked his tongue and retreated from the woman to my side as I got a closer look, I scanned her from the bottom up. She shifted uncomfortably feeling my gaze on her. When I met her eyes, I knew that it wasn't the woman we were looking for, this was a young innocent girl, caught in the crossfire of my business dealings.
"What the fuck is this?" My frustration reached a boiling point as I glared at Colin. He looked back at me, confusion etched on his furrowed brow. "What do you mean?" he stammered before I abruptly smacked the back of his head. "Are you an idiot?" I growled, my voice rising as I gestured towards the young woman tied to the chair. "Who is this woman?" I asked, directing my gaze back at the girl.
Colin rubbed the back of his head and yelled, "I'm an idiot?! Boss I clearly remember myself telling you about her, you even said-" Colin's tone suddenly shifted, becoming more deep and stern, "Alright, bring her in." Is he mocking me? "Colin you-",I paused my ramp and looked at the girl, she was still looking at me with those beautiful sapphire eyes. I didn't want to beat Colin infront of her, that woman probably has enough trauma for life, so I pushed Colin out of the door, closing it. After that I pinned him onto the wall holding him by his collar. "You better be joking Colin-" I said through gritted teeth. "Calm down, what's wrong?" I was never really violent towards Colin, but in situations like this when the life of an innocent person is at risk I can't help it- if I didn't look at that girl properly we would have killed her.
"God damn it, Colin," I released my grip on his collar and took a deep breath to compose myself, it wasn't his fault. "This isn't the woman we were after." Colin's eyes widened in surprise. "What do you mean? How could that be?!"
"I have no idea," I replied, my mind racing, perhaps Colin confused them. "What did Harrison say about her?"
"He mentioned something about her being a payment and a good assistant," Colin answered, disgust evident in his voice.
I let out a heavy sigh, knowing that Colin would need my help in sorting out this mess, and honestly he would appreciate another hand in his work. With a long sigh I exclaimed, "Fine. Tell her to come tomorrow and show her around. Let her see how things are done around here."
"Do I really have to?" Colin complained. "Can't Richie do it?", he whined, the tone of his voice conveying a sense of annoyance.
I gave him a skeptical look, a hint of amusement playing at the corners of my mouth, as my lips curved into a teasing smirk, "You want to take the chance of leaving it to Ethan? He hates leaving his little hideaway. And just so you know, I'll make sure he knows that leaving his den was all because of you." Colin's face turned to a shocked and betrayed one. "You wouldn't", I chuckled, "Want to risk it?"
He grumpily mumbled his agreement and I left him to fill the young woman in on the details.

"Boss, what are your plans with her, I know that you want her to work with us but-?" Colin asked, a bit annoyed, but at the same time curious.
I just smirked and replied, " Harrison gave her to us, let's put her to a good use, let's see what the girl is capable of." Colin merely nodded in response to my words. My gaze followed him for a bit. The poor pup seemed to be too exhausted to utter another word, I chuckled at the thought, as I got back to work. I should really stop thinking about him as a dog.
