Chapter 84

Finally, it's over!

After pulling all-nighters during the past two hellish weeks, it's finally the last day of their examinations which means students in their university get to finish their suffering for this semester.

Lorelei stretched her arms as she walked down the hallway. They had just finished their final exams today, marking the end of their semester.

"Aaaaah," she groaned, now stretching her neck. "I can't believe we actually had our practical exams for three whole hours. Gosh," the girl fanned herself.

"I know right. I'm just glad it's all over," replied Amari who was looking gaunt and lifeless with her dark circles and pale complexion. She looked blue, quite literally.

Looking at her friend made her recheck her appearance. She unconsciously cupped her cheek with her hand as she studied her face using her phone's camera. To her dismay, she just looked as haggard as Amari.

And it isn't a good thing at all!
