Ch. 97 The Great Titan War iii

Pov.

-Falco-

There was so much happening I didn't know where to look

There were hundreds of colossal titans brawling all around us

Then there was Armin and Eren wrestling in the middle of all the madness

Eren slowly but surely began pulling Armins colossal Titan off its back

Just then, Erens ankle explodes

He drops Armin back down just before there was another explosion on his temple

It was.. Levi's squad

They were flying around in their gear, tearing and bombarding Eren every chance they had

"Those idiots, I made myself explicitly clear to stay out of the fight" Levi smiles

"Hehehe" I giggle

I summon Susanoo and I dive straight into the fight

He began pushin Armin back with the one leg that wasn't blown to bits

I jump into the air and I manage to chop his achilles tendon in half before landing on my back on top of a building

"Sh-shit" I grumble

I take a couple steps back as Eren began emitting steam from his body trying to keep them off him

Not long after, Armin slams his elbow into his jaw

Erens head jerks aside before his face slams into the ground

"GRUUAAHHHHH" Armin roars as he chomps into his nape

He spits the massive piece of meat aside before ripping Eren out

He raises his arm before slamming Eren into the ground

I hurry over to make sure he was dead

I met Mikasa along the way, but by the time we got there Eren had ripped himself out from his titans flesh

"It's over. Stop fighting, Eren…" Mikasa drops her blades

I step out of my Susanoo and I follow behind

Eren was coughing up blood beside the flesh Armin ripped out along with him

"Please, let's go home" Mikasa reaches for his hand

Before Mikasa could touch him he swings his arm back

He slams his fist into her jaw so hard her head jerked aside

"Mikasa!" Jean catches her a couple meters behind me

"Wh-what the-" I step back

Why did he just…

There's.. there's no way he hit Mikasa…

He raises his hand and creates a spear

"Eren, you bastard. How dare you?!" Jean growls

Eren turns around before throwing the spear at the two

The spear rips through Mikasa's abdomen and does the same with Jean

"E-Eren.. how could you" he holds Mikasa tight in disbelief

The spear snaps at one end as they fall back

"Wh-what the hell?"

"Eren!" Connie shouts

Before he'd get too close Eren shoots three Arrows from his hardening and takes him down

"Falco!" Colt yanks me back before he'd take out my head

"What the hell is going on?"

"Snap out of it, we need to fight!" Colt shouts

"Forget it, just get out of here!" Reiner races past us

"Wait.. none of this is making any sense… Eren wouldn't.. he wouldn't hurt any of them like this…"

Before Reiner got any close a pillar of Erens hardening erupts right beneath him

It digs through his chest and picks him of his feet

"Falco, c'mon!" Colt shouts

"R-right"

I follow Colts lead

His hand was flat and he pointed his fingers like a spear as he went straight for Erens throat

Before Eren could grab his wrist he pulls his arm back and elbows him across the face just as I dug my fist into his liver

Eren stumbles back as Colt lunged at him

I was about to do the same but…

They were moving so damn fast

I'd only be getting in Colts way if I try to jump in

So I just wait and watch every single move they made

Then I saw it

The single blind spot Eren had

"Falco!" Colt growls just as Eren delivered the final blow

I kept low right behind Colt

Just then, as Colt fell aside I lunged at Eren

He had no time to react as I dug my arm straight through his chest and I rip his heart out the other side

He widens his eyes in disbelief

"Burn in hell y-"

…

I squeeze my hand

But there was nothing in it…

"Kghehe" he giggles

What the hell is going on?

There's no way I could've missed

That's exactly where his heart is supposed to be

He raises his arms into the sky

But just then as his hands landed on my shoulders, ready to finish me off just like he did everyone else something severs my arm

Not only mine but both of Erens as well

It happened so fast if it weren't for my sharingan eye I wouldn't have seen it happening

I turn my head as whoever it was does a 180 and his katana slams into Eren's throat before he even realized what was going on

His blade snaps but it sends Eren soaring through the sky

…

"Don't move" dads voice snaps me back

He was drenched in Titan blood

"Wh-what?" I ask just as he pressed his palm onto my severed limb

"Ahh! Agh! What are you doing?!" I gasp as he burns the wound shut before it could even gush any blood

"Shut up! You have to get out of here."

"Just take your brother and go"

"B-but everyone.. we can't just leave them here…" I sit Colt up

"They're all dead. Don't be ridiculous just… save yours…" his eyes widen as there was a sudden blinding light emitting from Eren

He looks over his shoulder

Seeing the look of realization on his face felt like someone had just kicked me in the gut

Eren is doing the same thing dad did back in Marley

He's going to level everything within a mile radius

"Falco…" he sighs

"Dad?" I looked up at him as his aura formed into 50 meters of his Susanoos upper body. It's armor was being reinforced with hardening as well

I pull Colt in as the light got brighter and brighter

So bright it shun through my eyelids

…

-hours prior to rumbling-

"It doesn't make any sense. You aren't one to try and finish things quickly." I say after he explained to us how he'd be launching us just before hitting the titans of Wall Rose

"This is the rumbling we're talking about, you think I'm more worried about 'having my fun' than dealing with this threat?"

We don't respond

"We'll just see how you do, if it comes down to it I'll be right there if need be"

-present-

It lasted only a few seconds but it felt like hours had gone, by the time it ended

As my eyes re adjusted, upon all the dust and steam that clouded around us I could make out dad standing in the middle of it all

He had this smile on his face and was looking straight up at the sky as his Susanoo fell apart around us

"Falco," he slowly turns around "get the hell out of here"

…

I almost threw up in my mouth

The explosion completely blew all the skin off the back of his arms and his entire back

Everything that had been facing the explosion had been seemingly peeled off, so that you could clearly see the blood red outlines of his muscles twitching and gushing blood

"D-dad…" Colt croaks

"C'mon, Colt" I carefully sit him up

We have to find a way to…

…

I jerk my head around after I heard someone groan

I look around before I hear it again

It was…

Armin

He's still in his colossal Titan

I look around, the dust and steam was too thick to make anything out

I hurry over to Armin's shoulder where I pulled myself up to his ear

It was a bit hard with only one arm but I managed somehow

"Armin, get up!" I shout "you have to, everyone's hurt we have to get them to safety!"

But he doesn't respond

I shove my head into his ear and I shout "MIKASA IS DOWN, YOU HEAR ME?! WE HAVE TO GET HER TO SAFETY!"

I step back out before the heat cooks me alive

His head suddenly jerks up

Once he nods I hurry over to everyone

By the time I got there Armin managed to sit up

"C'mon Colt, we have to get everyone out of here" I shake his shoulder

"F-Falco did we…"

His lip was busted and was so exhausted he could barely keep his eyes open

"Let him rest!" I hear Levi as Armin lowered his hand

"How did you…"

He was helping Annie walk

She was missing an arm and half of her body was burnt just as badly as dads back

"I'll be f-fine" she huffs as Levi helps her up

"C'mon let's get them out of here"

"R-right" I nod

Levi helps me carry Colt over to Armin who had been cooling his hand off as much as he could

We set him down on his finger and Armin rolls him in

After we break the spear that was lodged in both Mikasa and Jean, we carry the two over as well

We hurry back for Connie and Reiner

Then, after we were sure everyone was on board we try getting Armins attention

But he was too busy staring up at the sky

"What the hell is up with him?" Levi grumbles

"I'll go take a look" I raise my arm, ready to shoot my anchor

"No I'll…"

Before he could finish Armin closes his palm and it felt like he rolled aside for whatever reason

After he managed to get back up he began gunning it straight for the wall titans that were blocking our path

"What the hell is going on?" I ask Levi before Armin bull rushes the crowd of colossal titans that we're still shaken by Erens explosion

He jerks his arms side to side, not letting up for a second

And soon after, he was running freely out of the capital

I look at Levi

He gives me a little nod

With his help I manage to get up on Armin's shoulder alongside him

After we were certain we were locked down tight we look over at the battlefield

The hundreds of colossal titans around Eren looked like children beside this creature

He was easily standing well over 300 meters tall

I sit down beside Levi

"Your dad… he's planning to fight that thing?"

Pov.

-Kara-

I flick my gas tanks

They don't have much left but at least I managed to preserve them from the explosion

I smile

My back is on fire

I raise my arms to the sky

I flex every muscle in my back

I stretch my arms aside and back behind my head, getting a quick taste of the excruciating pain

"Kghehe" I chuckle painfully as Eren stomps his foot blowing the steam clouds aside

Right, let's hope I don't pass out

I shoot my anchors into Eren's shin and I reel myself in

I was well over a hundred meters from the ground at his knee

That means he was around 330 meters

333 if I had to make a wild guess

I burn threw my entire tank to get to the top

Once I did I anchored myself to his chin and used the last bit of gas to fling myself right in his face

"You ready for this shit?!" I bite my thumb

His eyes widen but he was too slow to do a thing about it

I bite on my thumb and I rip it off in his face

In a split second my explosion dwarfs his, sending the colossal titans that were standing up flying in all directions and him stumbling back

"Hahah" I laugh

I open my arms, taking a nice deep breath

He gazed upon me in awe as I stood before him in a Titan exceeding the 300 meter mark just the same
