Tantrums

Earth Lewis escorted Delilah to the mansion's luxurious dining room. But the funny thing is, instead of taking her to the main dining room with a large and long table, James served their dinner at a smaller table for five people. But it was still a frill for Delilah.

With an expectant stance, she sat down on the dining chair. Her eyes then caught the foods served in front of her. An irresistible steak with mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables is enough to make her hunger rise. Delilah's stomach growled eventually, and her saliva started to soak her mouth. She could imagine how delicious they would be.

Delilah could not remember how long that she hadn't eaten meat. She did not have the money to buy enough healthy food for her thin body. The money always runs out for daily living expenses, or her father stole it.

However, having delicious food did not make Delilah start eating. She was scared and didn't want to touch it at all. Instead, she looked around in all directions. Some men were standing to guard the door in the house, except for an exit by the bar counter.

Delilah bit her lower lip and was thoughtfully about it. She was looking for a way to escape from the mansion. But how? What if the door is locked?

Delilah's answer was given by God not long after. A James guard came in through the door and walked into a room. The door was closed and unlocked.

'This is my chance,' Delilah said in her heart. She clenched her fists and made up her mind that she would run away soon. Therefore, she had to wait until they were off guard. Meanwhile, James suddenly cleared his throat and jolted Delilah on her thought.

'Did he see me looking at the door?' Delilah asked fearfully in her heart. Delilah didn't dare to look at James. At the same time, James took his place at the end of the table next to Delilah.

"Why haven't you started? Are you waiting for me?" asked James picking up his cutlery and ready to eat. Delilah didn't answer because she was waiting for James to slack so she could run to the door.

James started eating by cutting his steak and chewing it in his mouth. He didn't glance at Delilah, who didn't touch the food at all.

"Let's eat, Candy. You'll be starving later!" repeated James, still relaxed and not peeking at her. When James was busy cutting his food, Delilah pushed her chair quickly and ran to the bar's back door. She ran as fast as she could through that door. Earth, who was in the bar, did not have time to catch her up. He then called out to James, who looked calm and unmoved.

"Sir!"

"Just leave her!" said James curtly.

"But it's raining outside, sir!"

"I said let her go, Earth!" James repeated more curtly. Earth nodded and gave a code to the guards to back off and leave Delilah.

Delilah was instantly wet with the rain was pouring as soon as she came out. She didn't know that it was raining outside. She heard nothing at all in the spacious building. But Delilah didn't care. She chose to run under the rain looking for a way out. Unfortunately, Delilah only circled from one park to another without finding a way out. Finally, she arrived at the main gate where James had brought her earlier.

But, the gate was even guarded by dozens of people standing with umbrellas in the rain. Delilah gasped and wiped the raindrops off her face. She could only sob and cry. Delilah did not want to give up. She ran again along the fence wall, which was more than 4 meters high.

"Help me!" Delilah screamed as loud as she could. She was starting to get desperate. She wished that someone outside the fence could hear her.

"Please help me… I'm trapped here!" Delilah was still trying to scream. The sound of the heavy rain far outweighed her tiny voice. Delilah fell a few times and scratched her smooth white feet.

"Aaah..." Delilah didn't give up and continued walking through the garden, looking for the exit. Unfortunately, in the heavy rain, she couldn't even see well.

Meanwhile, James was leisurely dining alone inside the mansion. After drinking water and wiping his mouth. He got up from his seat and half threw the napkin on the table.

James walked towards the front door and was opened by one of his guards. Earth then curiously followed James from a few meters away. Grey even came over to Earth to see what was happening.

"What is he doing?" Grey asked Earth. Earth shook his head with eyes fixed to James.

James took an umbrella from one of his bodyguards. He walked with an umbrella with one hand in a pants pocket.

James tracked the garden path beside the mansion. When he arrived in front of Delilah, he was crouched on her knees. Delilah noticed his slippers as she looked up in the middle of the rain. However, it was not as hard as a few minutes ago, but she was soaking already.

In a state of cold shivering, Delilah held back the trembling in her body.

"Are you done throwing all your tantrums? Now get inside!" stated James coldly. He was even meaner than the rain that was pouring down Delilah's body right now.

"L-let go of me!" Delilah stuttered from the cool rain. James smirked at her.

"As long as you can pay my money, you can leave right away!" James answered flatly.

"You are an evil man. Is this how you compensate a person who saved your life? If I had known this, I would have never pulled you out of the sewer and brought you to the hospital!" whined Delilah that triggering James to change his expression. James scouted closer, and Delilah was backing even more back. He crouched down to get closer to her.

"If you didn't save me and your father sold you as collateral, you would have died a long time ago. The price for saving my life is that I'm still letting you live. So we're even!" James growled at her. Delilah frowned in disbelief at what she heard. And James evilly smirked without feeling guilty.

"Come on, get up . . . you haven't eaten yet," James added in a much lower tone. He wanted to hold Delilah's hand, but the girl brushed it off roughly. James snorted in annoyance. He was tired of going out with an umbrella, and some parts of his pants were starting to get wet, but Delilah still wouldn't obey him.

"Don't irritate me, Candy. I never convince women. So don't expect me to do that to you!"

"I don't need that! I want to get out of here!" Delilah shouted to get up, but James' hand was faster. He pulled Delilah and put the girl on his shoulders. James had to take off his umbrella and walk in the rain because he was carrying Delilah.

"Let go of me!... Put me down, Mr. J!" yelled Delilah trying to resist by stomping his body. But James anticipated well and quickly walked back to the mansion carrying Delilah on his shoulders.

"Let go of me… let go of me!" Delilah shouted for help. Earth and Grey, who saw the scene, widened their eyes. James had never seen such an attraction to any woman before. When Michele Luiz, who previously had made James a little crazy, was not comparable to his current attitude towards Delilah.

Grey glanced at Earth with furrowed brows trying to figure out what was going on.

"Why did he bother forcing that girl in here? After all, it's only 100 thousand Euros, I can pay for it!" said Grey in a surprised tone after James passed them and went inside the mansion. Earth sighed and threw both hands in the air.

"What has that girl done to make that iceberg melt now?" Earth asked back.

"Is he courting Miss Starley?" Grey is still full of questions.

"I don't know Grey, don't ask me. I don't know what kind of spell that girl has on him!" Earth turned back at the mansion, leaving Grey, who was still on his mind being confused. He finally shook his head and also went inside.

Meanwhile, James was soaking wet with Delilah on his shoulder. He went into his room to put Delilah. He lowered her, still struggling, and pulled her forcefully onto his lap.

James quickly slapped Delilah's butt with one hand while another held her body so she could not move from her position.

"Aaahhkk… what are you doing? Let me go Mr J! Aaahhhhh!" Delilah shrieked in pain, but James then slapped another side of her ass for more.

"This is a punishment for a disobedient girl like you, Candy!" James hissed in Delilah's ear then slapped again.

"Aahhhkk!"
