Hidden Fantasy-A Werewolf's Obsession

Chapter 35-Alessia

Aiden gasped as he approached Noah, who was still unconscious and surrounded by machines humming. With a thankful expression on my face, I carefully began to go towards Noah and filled his cannula with his medication in the hopes that it would assist him.

"So you've been taking all that abuse from your father only to keep him safe?" Aiden inquired, his face surprised and sorrowful.

"Yes," I murmured shakily as I fixed my gaze on him. Aiden went across the room to me and hugged me so tightly that I groaned in despair.

He murmured in my ear, tears in his eyes, "I never knew Alessia." With a faint and sad grin, I slowly drew him away and wiped the tears from his eyes.

"You had no idea Aiden,'' I said, "It's all right," in a mournful tone. Aiden shoved me to my bed and forced me to sit down while he went to get first aid supplies from my bathroom. As soon as he was gone, I struggled to my feet and began to place the photograph of my mother in a crystal frame on my desk, next to my bed.

"I miss you so badly, mom," I whispered, my eyes welling up with tears. Aiden appeared out of nowhere, carrying a box, and began treating the wounds on my face, which were in excruciating pain. Aiden offered me a compassionate look, but all I could do was put up with it for as long as I could. After he completed healing my face, I drank a healing potion that I had been making for Noah. My entire face began to recover almost immediately, and all of the swellings vanished, but my memory remained. I clutched Aiden's hand as he walked away.

"What's the matter?" With a concerned gaze, he inquired. I immediately pointed to my knee, where there was a large cut and my entire leg was flowing with blood.

"Alessia, I need to stitch that wound, and it'll hurt a lot if I do," Aiden stated a troubled expression on his face.

"Do it," I urged, sweat flowing from my face. Aiden gradually drew out a large needle, dipped it in a bottle of alcohol, and dug it into my knee, giving me immense pain as sharp piercing screams began to be ignited inside of me. When Aiden was mending me, all I could think of was one person. Michael. He was the source of my suffering, and I craved vengeance in such a way I would consider it inhumane.

Aiden started sewing the incision as quickly as he could, but the torment was so unbearable that I was sweating profusely and my body felt like it was being grilled in a hot oven.

"I'm almost done," Aiden remarked, with a worried stare.

"Thank you," I said, struggling to stay awake. After another 15 minutes of agony, Aiden was finally able to finish by sealing the wound with a bandage. He gave me instruction to wait a few days before drinking a healing potion after I stopped him from walking out onto the balcony.

"Would you mind staying with me tonight?" I requested in the hopes that he would say yes. Aiden closed the window behind him and started approaching me.

He kissed my cheek and whispered, "Of course."

I hesitated just as I was about to start tucking myself in.

"What's the matter?" Aiden inquired, perplexed. I gave him a kind grin and switched my attention to Noah, who was still waiting for me to heal him. With tears in my eyes, I began casting spells all around him in the hopes that he'd hang on for a bit longer.

Aiden gripped my shoulders and snuggled me into my bed, saying, "He'll be OK."

"Thank you for everything, Aiden," I responded, smiling.

He rushed into the bed with me and held me for a brief while causing thermal heat to become flooded inside of me.

"I never want to leave you like this, Alessia," he expressed his concern.

"Then don't," I said, a hopeful tone in my voice.

"Please live in the werewolf mansion with me after the memorial." As he grabbed me tightly, Aiden continued, "Quickly pack your luggage today and let's leave."

"How about Noah?" "I'm sorry, but I can't leave him here," I admitted.

Aiden smiled and added, "We can keep him safe in our house."

"Are you going to sleep on it?" Aiden inquired as he wrapped his arms around me and fell asleep. I slept soundly with Aiden at my side after a few minutes of being crushed by my thoughts.
