Hidden Fantasy-A Werewolf's Obsession

Chapter 34-Alessia

With my body accelerating from Aiden, I began walking towards my house. I was smiling the whole way there, and when I opened the door, I was surprised to discover that the lights were still on inside the home, which was odd given that Dad was always buried in his work.

Slowly, I began heading inside the home, my heart pounding in my chest as if I was walking into hell. Dad hollered my name as I was ready to walk up the stairwell. I started heading towards the front room, which we had previously entered, where he was sitting with a stack of papers on the coffee table.

"Did you call me?" I inquired, my voice trembling with anxiety.

"Sit, I need to speak with you," Dad said softly, and I immediately realised what was going on. My heart began to race inside my chest, and sweat began to form all over my body as a result of the impending horror.

Dad abruptly rose in front of me and hurled a stack of papers in my face.

"You little liar," he screamed, a disgusted expression on his face. One of the papers showed a gorgeous image of my mother with her beautiful honey eyes and soft brown luscious hair, as I picked it up my stomach began to be filled with dread. Tears streamed down my cheeks as I touched the image feeling as if it were her in reality.

"Oh, mom," I said, touching the photo as if she were present.

"You little wrench!" Dad screamed as he ripped the painting from my grip and smashed it to bits on the floor. He then leaned in and smacked me so hard that I tumbled on the ground, blood streaming down my face.

But I just lay there, grasping Mom's still-intact photograph.

"THIS IS YOUR MOTHER, THIS WITCH!" YOU LIED TO ME! "WHILE I WAS DOING ALL THAT RESEARCH TO FIND THE GUARDIAN, THE PERSON WAS RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME," he screamed as he kicked me in the stomach so hard that I nearly passed out. I just lay there helpless, unable to do anything but endure the agony. He kept beating me everywhere till I couldn't handle it any longer.

"YOU WILL ONLY GO TO THE ACADEMY WITH MICHAEL TOMORROW, AND THEN I WILL HOME-SCHOOL YOU." Dad bellowed as he hurled the entire coffee table to the ground, forcing it to crash on my knee, causing me to cry in agony, yet all he did was stand there in disdain.

"YOU WILL STAY AT HOME UNTIL WE RID YOU OF YOUR GUARDIAN POWERS, YOU DISGUSTING ABOMINATION," he yelled, his foot searing my flesh as he pushed the coffee table.

All I could hear was him calling me a bastard and saying how if he had known about this earlier, he would have burnt me alive, and I couldn't handle it any longer. Dad had turned his back on me and was continually cursing, so I began pulling the table off my foot, but he grabbed my foot just as I was dragging myself in pain towards the door.

"DON'T YOU EVEN CONSIDER IT!" He yelled as he pressed his fingers into my wound, forcing me to scream in anguish and weep.

As he swore at me, I pulled my boot up to his face and smashed it down so hard that he fell to the ground. I quickly grabbed myself up with the photo of my mother, and raced as quickly as I could towards my bedroom, with Dad trailing behind me.

"YOU BASTARD, YOU ARE NOT LEAVING THIS HOUSE!" I was so close to him when he growled at me that I almost gave up. But I pressed on with all my strength, and it paid off when I dashed into my room and closed the door.

I knew the standard door would never be able to withstand Dad's might, so I began sealing it with a protection spell just as a crack formed. After that, I curled up in anguish on the floor, tears and blood dripping on the floor. I quickly turned to see whether Noah was still there, but my balcony abruptly cracked. I swiftly turned to discover that the magic had not yet unlocked my door, implying that someone was attempting to enter my room from the outside.

Anger welled up inside me, and I began to believe it was Michael on the balcony, but I was startled as I unlocked the lock and found Aiden standing there. I quickly looked away from him, thinking he wouldn't see anything.

"Alessia, what's the matter?" As soon as he walked into the room, he inquired and began approaching me from behind.

"Nothing…" I responded, "I'll see you tomorrow," in such a pained tone that I knew he'd realised something. He pulled me to face him right away and winced when he saw my battered and bleeding face.

"WHO DID THIS TO YOU?" His lapis eyes glowed ferociously as he shouted.

"It's okay, Aiden," I whispered. "It was only my Dad." Aiden began to hear all Dad was saying to me once I pointed to the cracked door. He started marching for the door with his fists clinched right away, but I stopped him.

"Please don't for me," I said quietly as I rested my face on his shoulder.

"Why not?" I took him carefully towards the coffee table while he raged.

"Can you tell me why?" Aiden questioned, his face bewildered. With a smile, I dropped the spells I'd cast on Noah and demonstrated them to him.

"This is why, Aiden," I answered, a shaky smile on my face.
