Hidden Fantasy-A Werewolf's Obsession

Chapter 33-Alessia

Mr Jackson commented as he brought out his board and began calling us into our groups, "Now that everyone is here, let's get into your groups so we can start planning for tomorrow's memorial." Mr Jackson called my name after a few minutes of waiting.

"You're with Logan, Alessia..." Mr Jackson muttered something to me, and we both smiled, knowing that at the very least, we were doing it together as Logan began to place his hand on my shoulder.

"As well as Aiden." As my entire world disintegrated, Mr Jackson said, "You'll be buying us the rose bouquets for the memorial." Aiden gradually approached us, his expression emotionless but filled with dismay.

Mr Jackson screamed, "Everyone, let's get started!" as he completed dividing us into groups. To collect the roses, I slowly got a sheet of paper and began strolling towards the front car park. Aiden and Logan rushed over to me right away.

"Can you tell me where you're going?" Logan questioned, his expression confused as he breathed heavily.

"I'm going to collect the flowers," as if I wanted to spend any time with Aiden. Logan chuckled as he patted my shoulder.

"Let's get started," he remarked with a warm grin on his face. Aiden walked straight past us on his way to his vehicle as we reached my car.

I questioned him, "What are you doing?"

With his face on the ground, he muttered, "I'll meet you guys there."

My soul felt like it had been shattered into a million pieces all of a sudden.

"Did you forget that I have the address on a piece of paper?" With the paper in my hand, I answered. I crept inside the car slowly, just as Aiden pulled Logan away and stepped into the front seat. Logan was taken aback when he walked inside the car and locked the door.

"What was that?" Logan inquired, his face flushed with surprise.

Aiden apologised, "I feel carsick in the back," but when he winked at me, I knew he was lying.

"Let's get this over with," I grumbled as I fastened my seatbelt and drove as quickly as I could to the flower store. Logan suddenly approached me and placed his hand on my shoulder.

"Do you have any water here?" He questioned, his voice trembling.

"Yeah, have a look inside the mini-fridge," I said, a warm smile on my lips. We arrived after what seemed like an eternity. We hurriedly exited the vehicle and grabbed the massive bouquet of roses, which was trembling in my hands. Slowly, we slid the items into the trunk of a car, which seemed to fit nicely and the lady in the shop was lovely as she even helped us place the roses in our truck.

"Now that that's done, let's get this back to the Academy and then home," I cheered as we started walking back inside the car, which was sweltering hot. Aiden had a harsh expression on his face since Logan had touched me, which I didn't seem to grasp.

"What's the matter?" I spoke quietly to Aiden, who appeared apprehensive.

"Can you tell me what's going on between you two?" With a sorrowful expression on his face, he answered.

"Nothing why?" With my gaze locked on the road, I questioned him.

Aiden, on the other hand, didn't even respond and spent the entire journey staring out the window. Finally, as soon as we got to the school, we began rapidly delivering Mr Jackson the flowers so that we could leave as soon as possible. Mr Jackson yelled to all the volunteers just as we were about to finish.

"PLEASE DON'T FORGET TO WEAR BLACK OR WHITE TOMORROW!" As I began to go back to my car, exhausted from the long day, he bellowed.

Logan waved goodnight to me with a smile as I walked to my car, but I felt strange as I got inside. It seemed like someone was following me the entire journey, so just as I was about to enter the neighbourhood, I slammed on the brakes so hard that I heard a groan. I started pushing myself towards the back of the car, where Aiden was lying on the ground.

"Are you attempting to kill me?" As he began to touch his head in anguish, he questioned. I growled as I grasped his T-shirt with rage.

"How did you end up here?" I screamed angrily at him.

Aiden suddenly placed his hands on top of mine, igniting sparks within me. Instantly I shoved him out of the way and opened the car door for him to go, but all he did was shut and lock the door. I couldn't help but leave myself since I was enraged, so I parked the car and began heading out the door.

As he neared me, he screamed, "Hey, I'm sorry!"

"For what?" As I approached the neighbourhood's massive iron gates, I questioned with a forlorn expression on my face. I pushed Aiden just as he was going to touch the fence, and we both plummeted to the ground.

"The gate is full of wolfsbane and Vervain," I said as I attempted to rise, but Aiden threw me down with him.

He kissed me on the cheek which gave me chills all over. "I'm sorry Alessia," he muttered regretfully.

"I know I shouldn't have acted that way, but it was only because the full moon was rising and my wolf was taking command." "Forgive me?" With a sorrowful face, he asked. I snatched him from the ground and embraced him tightly.

"I forgive you," I said quietly as he lifted me off the ground and into the air, causing me to shriek.

"I'll meet you at the car tomorrow," he said gently as he walked away, leaving me breathless and wandering around the neighbourhood.
