Chapter Five

"Assalamualaikum. Rafi, I want to meet you. Can you come to the Wien Café at three o'clock?" Nazwa spoke quickly when the voice behind her ear said hello.

"Nazwa? What is it? Is there a problem with Salsa and Hanif?" asked Rafi surprised.

"They're nice. There's just something I want to talk about! I'll be waiting there, okay?" Nazwa immediately hung up the call. She didn't want to make small talk with Rafi. She was reluctant to talk about this, but she couldn't allow Rafi's actions, which she thought were already very annoying.

"Mom, who are you talking to?" The question of Salsabila, her first daughter, surprised Nazwa, who had been daydreaming after calling Rafi earlier.

"Astaghfirullah, Salsa. You surprised me," Nazwa rubbed his chest.

"Mom why? It's been a week since Salsa saw Momy often daydreaming,” Salsa asked again.

Nazwa smiled. She held out her hand as a signal for Salsa to approach her. "Here near Momy, Salsa."

Salsa approached Nazwa and sat next to her mother. "What's wrong, Mom?" She asked again.

"Where's Hanif's?" Nazwa did not want to answer her first child's question.

"It's in the room," replied Salsa.

"Could you please call? There's something Momy wants to talk to you about."

Salsa went to Hanif's room, her brother. Soon they came and took a place next to their mother.

"Salsa, Hanif. There's something Momy wants to ask you," Nazwa started the conversation.

"What's wrong, Mom?" asked Salsa and Hanif in unison.

“You know, Momy is very proud of you. Even though you are not yet mature, you are very mature in thinking. Mom and Dad's separation is the proof,” Nazwa was silent for a moment. “Now, you also know, Momy is currently close to Uncle Kafka. Uncle Kafka has asked permission to marry Momy. Now Momy and Uncle Kafka are going through the process of stepping into marriage. Momy wants to ask, what do you think of Uncle Kafka? Do you agree, if Momy married Uncle Kafka?” asked Nazwa softly.

Salsa and Hanif looked at each other. They knew that one day their Momy would ask this. And now is the time. They already knew about this plan from Uncle Kafka himself. And Om Kafka has also asked their opinion. At that time they replied that they liked Uncle Kafka and did not mind if Uncle Kafka married Momy. But if there was an option where Mom and Dad could be reunited, they wanted Mom and Dad to remarry.

“Mom, Salsa, and Hanif love Momy. We were so sad when we saw Mom separated from Dad. Momy was like everyone else we didn't know. And we know, Uncle Kafka who has brought our Momy back to normal. Uncle Kafka is kind and seems to love Momy, as well as Salsa and Hanif. But Mom ..." Salsa stopped talking.

"Yes, dear? What is it? Just continue. Momy won't be mad," Nazwa responded gently.

“Earlier, we apologize, because we concealed Dady and Aunt Renata's marriage. We are afraid that Momy will be sad again,” Salsa said carefully.

Nazwa was stunned to hear her son's confession. How they are very good and mature children. "Thank you, darling. But Mom's okay. Do you know where Dad and Aunt Renata's wedding came from?" Nazwa investigate.

“We saw Dady and Aunt Renata's wedding photo. When we asked Aunt Renata, she said it was all true. And Auntie also said that it wasn't because of Aunt that caused Momy and Dady to separate. But because of a situation that makes Dad have to separate from Momy. Aunt Renata also said it doesn't mean Dady is bad. Dady just has to pay off his promise to Grandpa to take care of Aunt Renata," Salsa clearly explained everything.

“Ma, Salsa, and Hanif love Dad and Mom. In our opinion, what Dady and Momy did was the best. Didn't Momy ever say, that everything that happens in this world, good and bad, has been arranged by God? We can only accept and live it patiently. So, we want to be children who can make you proud, like we are proud of you. If indeed Uncle Kafka can make Mom happy, Salsa and Hanif will also be happy. Isn't that right, Nif?" Salsa flashes at Hanif.

"Yes, Mom. But, if Momy wants to remarry Dady, we will be happy too," said Hanif quietly.

Nazwa was again stunned to hear Salsa and Hanif's words. Salsa was already bigger, so she understood the situation. But Hanif, the nine-year-old child certainly doesn't understand. And Nazwa knew, from Hanif's last words, the boy hoped that she would return to Rafi.

She embraced his two soul mates. "Thank you, dear," she said, kissing Salsa and Hanif's forehead in turn. “You know, you always make Momy proud. You will never disappoint me. Why? Because your presence is a gift and pride for Momy. Forever," Nazwa held back her emotions as she hugged Salsa and Hanif back.

Salsa and Hanif hugged their mother warmly back. They are also very fond of and proud of their mother. They always want to see their mother happy. They no longer want to see their mother slumped in sadness like when they were separated from their father.

Vienna cafe.

Nazwa sat nervously waiting for Rafi to arrive. Several times she saw the entrance every time the bell rang, indicating that guests had entered her cafe. She grabbed her cellphone intending to ask Rafi's whereabouts. She looked for Rafi's name and intended to make a call until a voice stopped him.

"Assalamu'alaikum, Nazwa." Rafi says hello.

"Wa'alaikumsalam. Rafi, explain to me. What do you mean by sending Renata to this Cafe?” Nazwa immediately asked without giving Rafi a chance to sit down first.

"Astaghfirullah, Nazwa. I just arrived! At least let me drink first!” he complained. He grabbed a chair in front of Nazwa and sat on it. He drank the orange ice that was available on the table and then found a comfortable position, looked at Nazwa, and said, "What did you ask?"

“What do you mean by sending Renata here?” repeated Nazwa with a little emotion.

"Renata? You mean?" Rafi asked not understanding.

Huh! Nazwa sighed. She adjusted the tone of his voice so that the emotion in his chest could not be seen.

“Fi, why did you hide your marriage with Renata? Not only me but also the children?! So far, they always tell you that whenever you are at your place, there is always Aunt Renata. I never suspected. I think Renata wants to play with the kids. Because even before we divorced, we sometimes met Renata. But you two are already married. Why are you lying, Fi? One year. How could you!" said Nazwa angrily.
