Roommates

Chris felt slightly responsible for the newbie's well-being. As the leader, he felt the need to be there for Miso. Manager Lee came to him and spoke about how the real Jay recently had a vocal cord surgery which made him unable to go as the contract stated.

He already knew how breaching the contract would affect both parties. And it would be tough for Jay as well. After Manager Lee explained the situation, Chris concluded that he would help Miso hide her identity for the band's sake.

It was almost impossible to believe, but Miso looked like a woman, but she was able to hide it quite well with her efforts. Her voice was low, quite feminine, but not entirely obvious.

Even though she might appear like a man, Chris couldn't hide the fact that he would never treat her that way. He knew that these actions might be the reason for their downfall.

Or maybe not.

"AAAHHH!"

A loud voice came from the back of the room. Chris turned his head and found Miso shouting. She caught herself and covered her mouth with both of her hands.

Miso averted her gaze and turned around.

Chris turned his head up front and found Ren without any shirt on. He forgot that the boys, even him, liked to go around the whole place without any shirt on.

Even Chris himself sleeps without any clothes on.

Now, he would be able to do that easily since Miso is there.

But he couldn't really tell the members about it, right?

"What's with the reaction?" Ren asked as he rubbed the towel on his hair a little more vigorously. "Why is the newbie acting like that?"

Chris spoke in Miso's defense, "It's the second time you guys are meeting up."

He glanced at Miso, who seemed to be able to get herself together.

"That's r-right," Miso stuttered as she turned in Ren's direction. "I was just a little bit flustered. I am raised in a conservative household, okay?"

"Well," Ren paused and walked towards Miso, towering over her relatively small physique. "You have to turn up your game." He glanced at Chris and continued, "Even this hyung doesn't even wear any clothes when he sleeps, so you have to take that into account."

With that one last line, Ren stretched his neck before returning to his room to take a nap. Or possibly do something else before their band practice in the evening.

Chris awkwardly turned around to look at Miso and smiled. They both found the situation awkward, but he knew that Miso should see through the case and adapt quickly.

"I think I have overreacted a bit," Miso said with a small smile. "I'm sorry."

"It's okay," Chris replied with a slight giggle. "I think I'd react the same if I were to encounter the situation in your point of view."

He was right. If he was to pretend and turn into a woman and live with women, then he would be shocked to see women not wearing anything when they sleep---

Now, it was a weird thing for him to imagine it. He could feel his ears turning red. His cheeks were starting to feel hot, and when he stared at Miso, she looked at him with such innocent eyes that he was scared that she would think of him as a pervert.

Chris cleared his throat and tightened his grip onto the suitcase, "Should I take you to our room?"

"Our room?" Miso's eyes widened in surprise as she followed him, walking towards a particular part of the dorm where their room was located at.

Oh yes.

He had forgotten the fact that they were assigned to be roommates. Manager Lee had informed him to do that so that Miso would be safer instead of sharing the room with the other guys.

They stopped in front of the room where he had been staying for several years as a trainee. It was a small room, but it still had the same view as the dorm.

Chris opened the door and waited for Miso to enter the room first.

Miso turned her head and glanced at Chris. It was the second time they were staring at each other's eyes, and he was mesmerized by her sparkling eyes.

Her thin nose and soft lips looked delicate, and Chris wondered how she would look like a girl with long hair.

She might have hidden her feminine features as a woman, but her face still had that unique Miso charm that made him want to stare at her for a long time.

She had the soft facial features that men loved to have in a woman. Her personality blended well with her beauty.

Is this really even the time for him to observe the band member's face for a long time?

"It seemed that Manager Lee had not informed you beforehand, but.." Chris trailed off as he awkwardly giggled while looking at Miso's face for a while. "I will be your roommate all throughout your stay here."

Miso nodded, "I see. That would be better, I guess."

The two of them entered the room. The two of them were just awkwardly staring at the empty space. Chris had already organized the whole room and made sure that Miso wouldn't see anything weird.

He had to make it seem like he was a formidable and dependable leader before the newbie.

"I guess, it would be better for me to help you unpack your things?" asked Chris.

Miso seemed a little bit hesitant, but she agreed, "Okay. Thank you, Chris. You're a great leader."

"No, not at all,"

The two of them started to go over Miso's suitcase. The clothes Miso had brought mainly were for men. Even the underwears he got were for men.

Miso seemed like she was extremely prepared for it. The courage she had was something he wanted to praise.

But then, Chris realized that it wasn't really much of a good idea for him to go over to her suitcase.

He found a black piece of chest binder included in her suitcase. Miso immediately grabbed it and put it away from his sight.

They continued to act like nothing as Miso stood up and walked towards the cabinet, "This is where I'll be putting my clothes, right?"

Chris nodded.

He watched Miso put the clothes on the topmost section of the cabinet with a stool. It was all fine when she suddenly went out of balance and was about to fall on her right side.

BAM!
