1st day (part 04)

During the second phase, a launcher would be used to launch discs in the air and some people would also participate in this process of launching the targets breaking the rhythm and making the competitors have to react quickly.

As it was a group evaluation, points would not be deducted for lost targets and, like the previous phase, one point would be given per hit, in addition, instead of 2 minutes, each group would have a 1 minute time limit to hit the maximum of disks possible.

The groups were performing in the same order as in the previous phase and, as soon as the start signal was given, we could soon see a shower of saucers crossing the horizon in the distance as the students anxiously tried to hit them.

"What a disaster!" I muttered in dissatisfaction, I thought this phase would be better than the previous one, but apparently I was wrong.

"I agree with you, just a disaster, how can they call themselves an archer?" Echoed Luan.

I shook my head in resignation as one group after another introduced themselves, most students hesitated before releasing the arrow and often missed their targets, it was simply a disappointment.

This fact became increasingly apparent as I watched the reactions of the teachers who were evaluating everyone's performance.

Some veterans did very well in general, but apparently they forgot that it was a group evaluation and consequently, without a tactical agreement between the members, the final performance was not satisfactory.

An hour later when we saw the overall results, we were able to analyze how much everyone's performance had dropped.

Some groups barely reached 50 points while the best had a little more than 120.

As it was already close to lunchtime, everyone was dismissed and the event would return in about 3 hours.

Standing up I turned my gaze to the others and asked with a smile. "So, shall we eat?"

"Come on, I'm starving" Arthur was the first to answer and then we went to eat while we waited for the last part of today's event.

After three hours, everyone gathered at the training ground and when everyone arrived, the City Lord began to speak.

"This will be the last phase of today's first test and the procedures will be quite simple, about 500 small prey were released inside the forest next to the field and your objective will be to hunt them"

"Each of the targets will have a small black ribbon tied to one of their paws and for each animal that is brought back, you will receive 50 points"

"Each team will have a bag to put the fangs in and the time limit will be 3 hours, when the time is up we will launch a flare and you will have a period of 30 minutes to get back here, those who are late will not receive points so, beware of time"

"Now, let the 3rd phase begin"
