2nd day (part 02)

The arrows flew smoothly across the open field and perfectly hit three targets at once.

I wasted no time and prepared more and more arrows and launched them across the open field with smooth, precise movements.

The timer was ticking but, for me it was ticking slowly as more and more arrows I shot.

I felt that everything around me had become silent and several eyes surrounded me at that moment.

However, I didn't care about anything happening around me as I continued.

10 hits

30 hits

100 hits

The arrows sank into more and more targets in the distance while the evaluator next to me was stunned watching the arrows disappear from the basket beside me and as if he had noticed something important turned to someone else and said solemnly. "Bring more arrows, quick!"

It didn't take long for more ammo to be brought in and the basket I had was already emptying when I moved to the next one and repeated the same process.

Unlike the group test, in the individual test we had a total of 5 minutes to perform the task given to us.

It was only when I heard the whistle that informed me that time was up that I slowly stopped my movements and realized that my body was covered in sweat from the strong concentration I had been maintaining.

Feeling my back covered in sweat I muttered under my breath to myself. "Looks like I have to improve my stamina"

I turned my gaze to the horizon and saw that I had hit pretty much every target in the distance before nodding with satisfaction at the result as a satisfied smile crept across my lips.

It was only when I shifted my focus from the targets and turned my gaze to the evaluator that I realized the strangeness around me.

Scanning my gaze to my surroundings, I saw that many gaped at me as if they had seen something unbelievable.

"Did I overdo it again?" I thought to myself as I smiled dryly.

I returned my gaze to the evaluator once more and with a slight smile asked politely. "Can I withdraw me?"

He came out of his daze as he shook his head agitatedly. "Of course, of course, you are released"

Retracting my arc, I walk gracefully toward my room to change.

When I was finally leaving the field, several murmurs erupted from the stands as I felt some looks of hatred, jealousy and reverence on me.

I gave a silent sigh previously feeling the turbulent emotions of the people around me.

I left without looking back as I silently thought, let the second phase come!
