Unexpected attack (part 01)

Almira's point of view:

After we found the corpse in the woods, I made sure to bring Elora back to the dorms to tell her to go rest.

After making sure she went to her dormitory, I went downstairs and went to meet Lady Joyce and related what we had found.

I saw her face reveal a stern and thoughtful expression as I saw her take a deep breath and run her hands lightly through her hair. "Stand guard Elora's room and tell her not to leave unless she has to, keep her safe this matter seems far from over"

"Yes ma'am" I replied lightly before heading back to the dorms to be with the Young Lady.

Entering the bedroom, I saw her come out of the bathroom with tiny drops of water falling from her bangs when she noticed my arrival.

Apparently surprised by my arrival she asked curiously. "Joyce sent you back?"

I nodded slightly as I answered. "Yes, Lady Joyce is worried about you and asked me to stand guard"

I saw her nod lightly before complementing. "Thanks for your patience, feel free, I'll get some sleep, in case something happens don't hesitate to wake me up"

She walked over to the bed and after I saw that she was sleeping, I walked over to the table in the corner of the room and started checking some documents while keeping guard.

* * *

Looking out the window, I saw that the sun had already set and the night was outside, getting up from the chair I walked towards the bed and lightly shook the shoulder of the beautiful young woman who was still sleeping.

"Young Lady, wake up, you have to eat something, it's already night"

*Grunt*

Beautiful eyes, pitch-black, stared at me and had a hint of mist hovering over them, it took a while for her to react and answer me in her sleepy, still nasal voice. "Okay, I'll get dressed and go downstairs with you"

"No need, I'll get your dinner and be back soon" I said after thinking for a while

"Fine"

Leaving the room, I exchanged a few more words with Elora and went downstairs to get dinner.

The cafeteria was considerably empty, from what it seemed, after what happened yesterday and the body found, the teachers and representatives insisted that their students wouldn't leave if it wasn't extremely necessary.

Ignoring everything else, I headed over to the kitchen man and grabbed two meals before heading back.

"Young Lady here is-" Opening the bedroom door I couldn't help but freeze momentarily.

The sight that greeted me was of a tall man, fully dressed in black, holding a short silver dagger running towards the beautiful young woman who was already in a fighting stance.
