Conclusion

Bryan's point of view:

After that night, we didn't see Elora again, let alone hear anything about her.

The Aires were really peculiar and like the flower on their coat of arms, they only bloomed for a brief moment before returning to anonymity.

It was raining that morning and the entire dorm complex looked desolate.

I took a quick look out the window and decided to leave the room.

Locking the door and descending the stairs, I watched the students who were in the hallways, talking or simply keeping each other company.

I walked slowly through the corridors taking in the depressing landscape that surrounded us.

After the investigation it was discovered that the students who were involved in what happened were recently recruited and what happened was nothing less than a rite of passage for them to be accepted into the organization.

All those involved had, without exception, some rift with some noble family of the Five Realms, some lost their families or loved ones, others had some personal grudge or simply had their lives destroyed by the hypocrisy of the so-called 'noble people'.

In the end, we had created this evil ourselves and now we were paying the price.

It was not easy to manage a kingdom, the larger the territory, the greater the responsibilities that fall on the shoulders of the rulers.

There was no perfect ruler, but a suitable ruler. It was impossible to influence and please everyone, people were unpredictable and the human heart difficult to decipher, there was a limit to our abilities, we weren't gods, we didn't know everything.

Finding a random bench, I sat down while lightly closing my eyes and reflecting on my thoughts.

Time passed slowly until I heard light footsteps walking towards me, opening my eyes and turning slightly I saw three people.

Artur, Merida and Luan didn't say anything and just sat next to me, we all shared the same thoughts and feelings and knew there was nothing we could do.

On second thought, we would all be involved in this storm sooner or later, I would be the next leader of the Aran Kingdom, Arthur's family and the others, despite not being noble, were also involved with the Imperial Palace and it wouldn't take long in order for them to officially enter this world, Arthur's father had been elected as the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Merida's mother was the Official Editor of the kingdom, Luan's parents, his father was a member of the Emperor's Personal Guard and his Mother was the Chef de Cuisine of the Imperial Kitchen.

A kingdom never stood alone and its functioning did not depend only on the Emperor, many people were involved in this brewing storm.

Watching the overcast, dark sky I couldn't help but sigh helplessly when muttered. "This is the end?"
