The Twins lurked around as they watched the Vampire princess and their young Lycan prince walking through the halls. Raph and Julie waited for them to retire to their rooms. The twins have unique eyes. Raph has gray with, his right having a cross where the normal: pupil should be. As for his sister Julie, her left eye is red with the cross, while her right one is gray. They say that her red-eye has a specific power if you look into it; they say you are staring at the grim reaper himself. Raphael is one of the most reckless Lycans out there. Julie is one of the smartest Lycans around. She is loyal to her bloodline when it comes to; family you do not want to mess with her. She is also the leader of her household. Even though her brother is the male Lycan heir, the job falls on her.
Julie looked at her brother, "Do you think the Vampire princess will stay by his side?" Raph asked cluelessly as his sister let out a sigh, "I believe so. I mean our cousin, knows madam Harley is his soulmate." She breathed as her brother smiled. She smiled back at him. Raph can be hard-headed sometimes, but his heart is in the right place. The Lycan twins are known for their powers; not only are they Lycans. Oh no, their demonic power had been told, across the lands. They are unstoppable when it comes to protecting; the people they care about the most. Julie walked to clear her head. Raph knows to leave her alone when she is like this. Julie may be calm at times, but she can have anger issues. Her fury comes from Vampires in general. She can tolerate them but at the same time can not. Raph muttered under his breath, "I wish she would give them a chance." He huffed as a sigh escaped his lips. After all, Kadin has let love in his heart for Vampires; why can not Julie do the same.
Julie walked along the two borderlines as she came across Tyrell Foxwillow, a British Demon with a jerk complex. He smiled, "Hello, my pretty little love." He said slyly. She growled as he winked at her, "What do you want. The devil that you are you, always want something?" She huffed as he grabbed his chest, "Your stereotypes are hurtful. I want to spend time with you." He started dramatically with his British accent. The Demon had dark almond skin it; glistened under the moonlight. His hazel; eyes sparkled as they looked into Julies. She thought that Tyrell and all of his flattery ways were annoying, but under neither a sweet guy. Julie looked at Tyrell, "I do like to hang out with you." He told her with a smile on his face. He committed to his new love as he could not change his feelings for Julie. A Demon can know who their mate is at the age of ten. Tyrell knew Julie was his, but she still does not know that was the case. The Demon huffed in disagreement of how stubborn Julie could be, sometimes. The young Louvre sighed and gave the demonic creator a synthetic smile as she put her head on his shoulder, "How are Raph and our Lycan prince doing?" He asked as he twisted a piece of her raven hair with his index finger, "Their good." She told him with a smile. Now you may think that Demons can be cruel fiends. But in this story, that is not the case. You see in this story: there are some good and some bad, Demons.
Raph saw his sister with Tyrell, the Demon he could not stand. He swears under his breath as his eyes change all black while his cross pupil turns red. Knowing her brother, Julie pulled Tyrell to his feet as she shifted into her Lycan form. He got pushed behind her back, "Back off, he was just cheering me up." She growled as Raph lunged at her. She knows Raphael's moves all too well. Does he think she is that stupid, "You are being ridiculous, Raph!" She yelled at her brother, "Life is ridiculous, Julie!" He was holding back. His full name is Raphael Mattheo August or, near the end, is what the immortals call him. There is a little backstory to how he got his nickname. He is known for ripping his emery apart with his teeth. They call him near the end for that specific reason. He lunged at his sister as he tried to go for the Demon she protected. Julie jumped back with Tyrell falling off her back. Raph took this opportunity as his opening, "Do you think you can outrun me, Demon?" Raph asked as the Demon ran. The female Lycan jumped in front of her brother she blocked his way.
The Vampire king released his fangs from the human body as it collapsed; to the ground below. With the other four bodies. The human died on the floor with the others, "Another." The king told a guard, "Don't you think you have had enough?" The guard asks as Cole sends daggers his way. The guard knew that look; it was the look that said, do not make me ask again. The guard did as he asked. He brought in a fifteen-year-old girl as she tumbled in fear as her brown eyes stared into those monstrous red ones. She reminded him of Harley, his daughter, as she became a traitor in his eyes a few hours ago. His red, blazing eyes showed pity on the young girl. The Vampire king could not bring himself to devour her, "What is your name, child?" The king asked as she was still shaking from the scared trance she was in, "Lily Cullens, sir." She said with a squeak as the monstrous finger towered over her. The elder Vampire froze in his tracks, "You are my human descendant, and that makes me your 20th great-grandfather." He said with a smile showing his fangs. Her mouth hung open, "That means you are four million years old." Lily trailed off as she could not find her voice for five minutes or more.
Lily walked around the castle as her grandfather set up prepositions for her to become a Vampire in all honesty: she did not know if that was what she wanted. The Vampire guard that took her to his majesty in the first place was: sent to escort her again. The guard let out a sigh, "The king has required your presence, Lady Lily." He said with a bowed Lily smiled at him as they walked to the throne room, "Thank you, Jole." She thanked the guard as he opened the heavy doors. Cole's eyes beamed as his human great-granddaughter walked in the doorway, "Are you ready, my child?" He asked as she walked to him. She bites her lip nervously. She thinks it over if she ever wants to become a Vampire. She bites her lip harder as she felt, Jole's hands on her shoulders, "Take your time, love. No need to be pressured into becoming one of us." Jole told her, "Jole, I think she is your soulmate. It is very, rare for a Vampire and a human to be mated." Cole told them as his jaw clenched. The colors were draining from Lily, along with her features: her eyes widened, "Mates?" She asked as her body trembled, "Yes, love." Jole had a strong: Scottish accent as he sang the word love and pronounced it thoroughly. She looked at his light golden brown orbs, "How old are you?" She asked, "I am two hardened and seventeen. I turned at the age of eighteen. " He spoke as his deep voice shook her to the core. She swallowed hard as she looked at the Vampire before her. She could not find her voice as she thought about waiting to be turned into a blood-sucking monster. She wanted to wait until her nineteenth birthday. She parted her lips to speak, "Can I wait until my nineteenth birthday to be turned?" She questioned as the king mulled the idea over for a moment. He nodded his head in agreement as she got pulled into a hug by Jole.
Harley looked around her room as Kadin lay beside her asleep, as a smile came to her face. She looked at his sleeping figure as she could hear his steady heartbeat and little breathing. He did not have the covers over him because Lycans are generally warmer than Vampires. He was wearing a t-shirt and basketball shorts, "How did I get to know you?" She asked herself as Kadin held her tight in his arms. The young Lycan was in such a variable state, with someone happy to be with him. Harley had a tank top with pajama bottoms on. She could not help but smile as she buried her head in his chest and was completely safe with him. She played with his black hair as it naturally fell, in his face. It was one of her favorite things about him. It's how his hair falls in his face. She would have done anything to mess with it as his hair was soft and smooth and, his bangs were hiding most of his face.
Harley let out a small giggle as her crimson hair tickled Kadin's chin as he growled. After she listened to his heartbeat, she began to drift asleep. She heard something crash to the floor as she shot up with her, eyes glowing red and hissing. Defending the Lycan beside her protectively, "Kadin?" The voice of Kadin's sister came from the floor as she picked up her older brother's baseball fell on the bedroom floor. Phoebe saw a girl by her older brother, "How old are you?" Harley asked as Phoebe looked at how pretty her golden eyes were to the seven-year-old girl. Phoebe smiled, "I am seven and, you would be his soulmate." She said as Harley smiled at the little girl giving her a nod. Phoebe's gray and green eyes glistened at the Vampire in front of her. The little Lycan claimed onto her brother's bed as she cuddled up next to Harley. The Vampire moved over for Phoebe as the little girl held onto Harley tightly.
Julie growled as her brother would not learn to lay down. She was only trying to protect the one person he was after. Tyrell watched as the two siblings were unshifted from their Lycan forms. Raph looked like he was going to pass out. Julie looked like she was ready to kill as she was still standing in front of the Demon, "Had enough?" She asked her brother as he was, bent over in pain. When his sister was mad like this, you should run. Raph huffed, "I am sorry. Sis, you fight like a girl." He let out a chuckle. Tyrell let out a sigh, "Come on. We have to get you and my mate fixed up." He said that soon as he realized what; was said. He flushed bright red. The female Lycans mouth dropped as she heard the word mate. Raph blinked a few times, "My sister is supposed to be with a Demon?" He questioned as Tyrell nodded a little, flushed as he laid his hazel orbs on Julie. She grabbed her brother pulling his arm over her shoulder and, held Tyrell by the hand. They interlocked their fingers together. Her brother felt like a third wheel. A demon can have an ability, and that is ice powers. You may think that Demons should use fire as their power. No, it is ice. Tyrell and the others walked back to the mansion as some Lycans snarled at the Demon walking by. Julie walked her brother to the hospital wing. He was recovering from his wounds. His sister barely had a scratch on her out of both the twins. She was faster, quick-witted, and stronger than her brother. Both of them can share and amplify their abilities. It can be unbearable sometimes as their powers switch from time to time. But they get through the pain.
Jace was talking to his father as he was getting frustrated, "We should drive them out the Vampires. They have no right to be here neither, does a Demon!" He protested to his father had a cold expression. Jack looked his son dead in the eye, "News travels fast. They have every right to be here." His father sneered as he watched: his son with his movements carefully. Jace looked his father in the eyes. He took a deep breath before speaking, "Okay, father, but what if the crossbreeding becomes dangerous." He urged back. His father nodded, "Then we will just have to wait and see, but if the future child of Kadin and Harley gets out of hand, we will have to exterminate it." The elder Lycan huffed as a wash of tyranny extortion formed on his face. Jace told his father that. He was proceeding to go on a walk. Jace stepped out of his father's office and headed for the doors. As he stepped outside from that mention, the sun rose with a golden warming glow.
The warm sunlight hit the Lycan as he ran and went to check on his younger brother's friends. He could tell that they were, sad not knowing if their friend was alive or dead. Jace growled as his thoughts were; still on the Vampire and Demon matter at home. His growl sounded more like a frustrated howl as he ran faster to their hideout. The thunder started to boom as rain clouds formed. The thunder; grew louder as the rain began to pour, the Lycan crusade under his breath. He was a few minutes away from his brother's hang out. He ran at an inhuman speed as he was almost at the door. Jace stopped at the doorway as he twisted the handle and found it locked. He kicked the door off its hinges as it flew to the end of the hallway. Jace had to learn to control his super-strength. He just walked inside and went to the living room, and plopped onto the couch. A couple of hours passed by as a car stopped in the lot. Dane and Jackson ran to the doorway, "What happened to the door. Did someone break-in?" Jackson asked as his twin brother Dane heard Jace, "Hey, dummies." Jace's husky voice yelled from the inside. They both thought the same thing, 'Jace.' They ran inside to where his voice came from, where they reached the living room. They saw a dripping wet nineteen-year-old as he lay on the couch, annoyed at the two teenagers. Dane walked up to the young adult, "Oh man, you are dripping wet on our couch." He huffed as the Lycan raised an eyebrow, "Would you not worry about the stupid couch and think about Kadin! How is he, Jace? Did the police find him?" Jackson questioned with worry. Jace signed, "His home and safe idiot." He told the worried teen, annoyed. Jace did not know why, but he could not stand humans. The human race just pissed him off.
The teens decided to visit Kadin as their two other friends arrived with the sky was clearing up. Jace told them to follow him. He told them to leave their cars because they do not use transportation to get there. Candy was flirting with Jace which, just made him more annoyed. He clenched his teeth, "Can you stop your pissing me off." He told her coldly as he walked faster. She knew he was mean but not this mean. She let out a small sigh as he started to break into a sprint. The Lycan ran as the humans as teens tried to keep up. Being a supernatural creature has its perks. They were only a minute or two away from the Lycan borders. The teens finally cot up with him as Candy came crashing into his muscular back, "Why did you stop?" She asked lightly, "We are here." Jace said calmly, as they started walking into the small town, making their way to the manor. Jace felt his brother had his presents as he saw his brother with their little sister and his mate as their hands interlocked together. Candy's smile turned into a frown as she saw the young couple together. Harley saw the human girl as if she could smell the scent of lavender and peaches on her, "Who is she?" Candy asked as her voice sounded broken.
Kadin saw his friends walk through the gates. He came out holding Harley by her hand and, his sister ran to their older brother. Jace picked up Pheobe as he looked at them with a smile on his face. Candy looked like she was about to cry as she asked who Harley was to Kadin. Her heartfelt like it was shattering into a million pieces. 'How could he do this to me?' She thought as Kadin gripped onto Harley tighter, "Harley, these are my friends. Guys, this is my mate, Harley." Kadin answered Candy and introduced them at the same time. You can not change who your soulmate is. Harley looked at the sixteen to seventeen old girl. She could scene the heartbreak of the girl in front of her.
Jace motioned from Candy to follow him as he put Phoebe down. Candy with Jace as they walked to a meadow in the Lycan territory. She felt like she was about to cry again but at peace with the sight before her. She did not want Jace looking into her bluebell eyes. He let out a sign before he spoke, "Candy you, can not just change his feelings toward Harley. Once you find your soulmate, you cannot change or break that bonds of another person and their soulmate. It is against the laws of the immortals that it is what we live for, willing to have that soulmate pull; you must not abandon it. It is the law in the supernatural world." He told the teen in front of him as she stared into his eyes. She nodded at the Lycan in front of her, "Can you show me your Lycan form, please." She asked him. He just simply: nodded as he shifted into his Lycan form. His eyes turned pitch-black as his body contorted into the Lycan. His ribs and bones were breaking as he turned growls: emanated from his body. His skin turned dark gray. His Lycan had blue eyes like his brother in his Lycan form.
She looked at the Lycan in front of her in wonder. The royal bloodline of the Lycan family has blue human eyes. Even in their Lycan forms, it can be a blessing and curse. No matter what their regular eye color is. Their Lycan eyes are blue. With; gray or black in the sclera of the eye. Candy was looking at him. She was amazed at how beautiful and terrifying he was as this big lycanthropy stood in front of her. Jace walked to her as he bent down for her to get on his back so she could see the world the way he does. Candy got on his back as she could hear him in her thoughts, 'Hold on tight.' she heard him through the mind link. Lycans have a way to contact each other. It can also work with humans who can be contacted: through this link also. Julie looked for her cousin to tell him that she had her mate. She saw him with the human. The human girl looked to be about sixteen to seventeen, Harley thought. The Lycan left as his cousin bit her tongue holding, back what she had to say. Candy could not believe her eyes as she saw what Jace was seeing. Trees passed her within the blink of an eye. A smile came to her face as her trouble faded away. Well for, a little while anyway.
Kadin saw his little sister get attached to Harley. Harley could not help but enjoy the little girl and her company. Jack came into the living room. He came across humans in his house. A flash of anger came to his face, "What is he doing here?" The Lycan asked as he pointed to June. Kadin turned towards his dad, "Dad, you okay?" His son furrowed his brow. Jack was at his breaking point, "His father murdered; your mother in cold blood!" He was in a rage that he could only see red. His heart rate increased, "Is that true?" Kadin looked like he was going to break. His best friend scenes second grade was the son of the murderer. His mother was dead because of that murderer. June opened his mouth to speak, "Kadin, you know I am nothing like my father. I would not do anything to hurt you or your family." His best friend spoke, "But your father destroyed my mom. He took her away from us! I should have known you smell just like him, my mother's murderer! You rink of his scent, Get. Out. Now." He had to hold back his urge to rip him apart. His father growled between his teeth. June shed a tear as he blamed his father for his friend betraying him. June knew what he had to do, find a way to bring back his best friend's mom, even if it killed him in the process. June had to do it. He called on his ancestors for guidance. His ancestors warned him there would be a terrible price to pay.
June gritted his teeth causing, his dad by his name. His father is going to regret his actions with his blood if possible. His mother wanted him to heed her warning. Dabbling in this dark magic could darken his pure soul, "I will do it for you, my friend." He told himself as he teleported to his dad in his prison cell, "What are you doing here, son?" his father asked as June had his rage field eyes blazed in hatred. His dad let out a dark chuckle, "You killed the mom of my best friend." He spoke drags at his father. His dad had a glimmer in his eyes fall onto his son standing across his prison cell. June growled, "Is there a way to bring Mrs. Draven back?" His son asked bluntly. Gage nodded, "Tell me." His son spat as his anger was still building up. He could tell his son was pissed, "She had to die, son. It was the prophecy from the Lycan prince to lose the most precious person to him. He had to lose his mother to become his true self. He had to let his mother fall for him to rise. She was my best friend. She knew she had to die by my hand and found peace in her death. You can not bring her back. I am so sorry, Kelly Lin." Gage's voice went soft as tears began to fall. June had been recording this the whole time as his dad wiped for his best friend. He sighed at his dad, "Look, Dad, I get it, but why did you kill her?" June asked with his eyes on his dad. Gage had to say it, "They would have killed Kadin instead of her. She begged me to kill her to protect her family. Her family lives were on the line. She could not bear to lose them, even if that mattered losing her own life to save them. She would have done it in a heartbeat." His father sobbed as his son said goodbye to the weeping man.
He stopped recording as he appeared in Kadin's room, "You need to listen to this man." June said. His best friend, while his girlfriend was sleeping, "What do you want?" Kadin asked. June press record as Kadin listened. A few moments passed as Kadin listened to the confession. He could not believe it, "Someone was planning to kill me." His voice was soft as he was still in a state of shock. His mother had sacrificed everything for their family. She died for him, "I am sorry, June. I should have let you explain." Kadin told him. Kadin looked at his friend, "You are not a normal human, are you?" He asked June as he shook his head. June paused, "Nope, I am a magus." He told a confessed Lycan. Kadin saw as June smiled, "We have to tell father and clear your dad of this wrongdoing." Kadin told him. June gulped thoughts about Jack and what the truth would bring to him. Would it begin the grieving husband, closure, or vengeance? The magus was unaware of what his fate would bring him. He nodded his head in agreement with what the young Lycan told him.
Jace and Candy looked at the sunlight coming to an end. Candy seemed saddened by this. After all, she hated the darkness and the creatures that lurked within the dark. For some reason, Jace and the Lycans were different from the other creatures she heard of but never believed. She looked at Jace as the sunset, "We should go back." She told him. He smiled at her as they started to walk to the manor. While more like running seventy miles per hour. The Lycan ran to the mansion, and he came to a halt. They had arrived at the Lycan manor as Lycans went on patrol of the area. Jace unshifted as he carefully placed Candy on the ground. Candy thought for a moment. 'Are we going inside?' Candy asked through the mind link. Jace just nodded as he walked into the childhood home where he grew up. Candy followed close behind him. He growled as Arron passed by, "Do you have a problem with me, mutt?" Arron asked as Jace walked up to him, "Your care should not be here." Jace told him. Arron looked at the human beside Jace, "You and your brother having broken our law that all immortals live by, you let four outsiders know that immortals exist. That goes against all we believe in you, stupid mutt." the Vampire growled as the human in front of him clung onto Jace's arm.
His eyes flashed red, just like his father. Candy was shaking as she still held onto the Lycan, hidden behind his back. Arron noticed this as his eyes turned back to their gold color. Was he scary to her or, does he look like his father. That disowned him and his sisters. The father that loved and now betrayed them. Jace patted the seventeen-year-old head to calm her down. The Vampire muttered under his breath, "Don't you think I know that, bloodsucker?" The Lycan said impatiently. The bloodsucker did not have anything to say just nodded his head. Emanated growling from both of them. The teen looked at both of them. She saw their hatred towards one another. It was like watching cats and dogs bark and hiss at each other. They bickered like children, the teenaged girl thought to herself. She started to walk away from the two supernatural creatures as a fifteen-year-old female Vampire flouting next to her on the right.
The seventeen-year-old turned toward Harley as she spoke, "What do you want?" She asked the little Vampire. The Vampire was about to talk when a scream came from the main living room of the manor. The magus groaned in pain as the elder Lycan had blood dripping from his mouth. The elder was growling at the young man before him. The Lycan was now facing his son as he protected June from his father. The two girls came running into the living room. June lay on the living room floor as blood dripped from his ribs. "Were you trying to kill him? He had information about my mother's death, and you go into Lycan form. And you try to kill him," Kadin asked his father rudely. His dad unshifted from his Lycan form. The elder sighed, "Watch your tone, boy." Jack scolded his son as he growled. June started chanting nonsense that none of the four had known about how much power the young magus held. He was healing himself. The three supernatural beings are all furrowed their eyebrows. A shocked human that could not find worlds. His eyes flashed purple as his muscle tissue turned into his skin, "So this is the power of a magus." Jack said as he looked at the young magus. June stood up and looked at the two Lycans, a vampire, a human in the same room with a powerful magus.
Words could not express how Jack was feeling. June had him listen to the record, the old Lycan collapsed as his breathing was heavy. After the record stopped playing, the young magus looked at the man in front of him. Jack looked up at June, "I am so sorry, young magus. I should have let you explain." Jack spook as he bowed his head in respect to June. June bent down to where he was, leveled with the old Lycan. The magus spook softy, "You do not have to apologize to me, pops." He helped Jack to his feet. Kadin was amazed at how his dad and best friend got through this. Losing his mother took a toll on everyone that knew her. For three long year's they lived without closure, and now they had it.
The Draven family knew Kelly Lin Draven was at peace as she waited patiently: for them to return to her. The magus walked to his best friend. Kadin patted June on his back. The human girl still couldn't believe what she saw was her whole life a lie. Her two childhood friends were supernatural begins. Candy got a hold of herself as she walked to Kadin and June. Harley flouted up to her boyfriend as Kadin grabbed her hand. The twins walked through the door covered; in bandages with a Demon close on their heels. Kadin saw his cousin's beating and bruised, "What happened?" He asked questionably; as the twins fell onto the couch. The Lycan twins looked up at their cousin. "We got into a fight with one another again." They said in unison as Kadin sighed as he lightly spoke, 'Figures.' The boy sighed again as he shook: his head.
Lulu flowed across a misty afternoon as her blonde hair danced in the air. She looked at the halfbreed as he cleared his mind of worry. Raker went into the manor as the Vampire followed close behind him. As they walked along the hallways of the castle; they felt a presence nearby. Raker was on high alert as the figure approached them, "Jay what are you doing here?" Raker questioned the demon in front of him. Jay spoke, "Well I'm here for you brother." He told Raker. He knew what his brother meant as he gave him a nod. Lulu looked up at him, "I've got to go Lulu I'll talk to you later." He told the Vampire without awaiting her reply. He walked off with his brother right beside him. He left her standing there like an idiot as he walked away from her.
