Her name was Joanne. She was human, but I didn't care because she was my best friend. When she got married I was her husband's best man. I was there at the hospital when their daughter was born. They named her Morgana. Joanne's husband Jim was in the military so he was never home. I baby sat Morgana and watched her grow up. When Morgana was two her father Jim was killed in war. A year later Joanne died in a car accident. Her last request from me was that I took care of her daughter. I did of course. Joanne wanted nothing more than for her to live a normal life even though I wasn't. It frightened her that I would pull her into this world, and that's exactly what happened.. But not by choice. When Morgana was 8, a warrior child was born here at our house. She was not just a child. She was special, a hybrid. One parent a warrior. The other, a witch. First one born in centuries. When word got out, danger learked in every corner. Supernatural beings of all kind wanted her. Some wanted her dead. Others wanted her for their own advantage. To fight along side them, but not for the forces of good. One morning her parents fled with the child. We never found them. Morgana on the other hand wanted nothing more than to be like me. Like us. She wanted to be a warrior, but I refused to train her. I told her she wasn't meant to be a warrior. It didn't stop her of course and she found someone else to teach her. She grew to be quite good at fighting. When she was 16 she got her first job, and I let her do it. For a human she was really good at it. Almost to good, but deep down she knew she would never be a true warrior because a warrior was always born from warrior blood and nothing else. She knew she didn't belong and I knew it bothered her but I never questioned it and neither did she. The human in her eventually kicked in and she was bit by a monster and was dying. Most monster bites are fatal to humans. We've found cures for most of them, but this particular one we hadn't yet. There was one thing that could save her, and that was finding a way for her body to heal itself and fast. You see a warrior of ours was quite good at science and had been working on an invention, a formula of sorts. He had only made one and it was never tested, especially not on a human. Running out of time, and no other choice, we gave it to her. It did exactly what it was suppose to and it healed the bite and something else. It awakened something inside her no one knew she had. Something laying dormant. Powers. We ran some tests and found to discover she had the blood of a witch. But not just any witch. An elemental witch, the most powerful type of witch there was. You see her mother forgot to mention to me that she had been unfaithful. This was her darkest secret. Morgana was from a different bloodline. A witch bloodline. She grew even more strong and powerful. She was immortal. Unstoppable. She was the Warriors greatest invention. They called her their immortal invention. There was one warrior in particular she grew real fond of. His name was Chase. He knew Morgana better then anyone. Better than I did. Chase saw something in her that nobody else did. She was becoming dark. She tortured the supernatural for answers. Even good ones. She got pure pleasure from doing it. Thats when we realized we might have created a monster. Chase was right. Morgana couldn't be trusted with this power. We could extract the formula but we could not take away a witch's magic. We tried to convince her to give it back, but she refused and killed anyone who tried to take it. It was Chase who caught her off guard and injected her. When she passed out we extracted the formula from her. It was made into a blue stone and turned into a ring to hide it. Chase left with the immortality ring. The ring was never found again and neither was he. When Morgana awoke, she killed everyone in sight. This was the day the missing hybrid child's parents happened to return home. Fortunately, without the child. They were killed along with everyone else. Some of the Warrior children hid and survived, but I was the only adult who survived. She let me go, and then she fled. Other warriors searched for Morgana for years but never found her, but I knew that wherever she was, she was on the hunt for Chase and the ring. She loved him and he betrayed her. He didn't want the life he had. We think that's why he didn't return after hiding the ring. He wanted a normal life. I rebuilt my home and recruited new warriors. I became their head master and have been ever since. We have been searching for the missing girl for the last 17 years.
