THE FORBIDDEN FOREST AND THE DEVIL
"Where's Ella?" Trent looked around and then back at Lady Amorah who had a huge smile on her beautiful face. "Ruler of the world, you haven't seen me for so many years and the first thing you ask when you see me is all about Ella." She kept her neutral smile and her eyes were teary. "I do not have time for your fake sentiments," Trent said in a low voice. The smile on her face was replaced by a smirk as she wiped away the fake tears. "I didn't teach you to be rude to your elders, Ruler." Amorah frowned. "You didn't teach me anything! Give back my Ella!!" Trent roared.
"I am sorry but Ella accidentally fell into the forbidden forest," Amorah said with faked sadness. "What did you just say?" Trent's voice was low and threatening. "I tried to save her..." She took a step back. Trent's entire being was covered in black smoke, and two smoke-like wings protruded from his back, he opened his eyes and it look like two tiny fiery pits from hell.
His nails became long and sharper so did his fangs. "Give me back my Ella." His voice sounded like that of a raging beast. "I told you, she…." Banged! Lady Amorah was sent flying, her back forcefully hit a tree and she coughed out blood. "Lady Amorah!" Milli tried to run towards her. But Trent appeared in front of her, and Milli gasped in surprise. Trent used his sharp nails to tear her stomach open. She used the black dust in her pouch to open a portal and escaped through it.
She landed on their surgical table two people ran over to her. "Senior Milli, what happened to you?" the lady put her hand on top of the open wound to apply pressure. "Ajay, do your thing." The young Indian man put his hand over her wound, a bright light emitted from his hand, and began the healing process. "Eve, go and find KC and Xander. Tell them to go assist Lady Amorah." Milli passed out.
A white light flashed a few meters away from the forbidden forest, and Amorah punched again. Cyrus and his team emerge from the light, they were all amazed and began to look around. When their attention was caught by a black smoke beating what seemed like a woman in mid-air.
The communicator in Cyrus's hand began to vibrate.
Cyrus answered the call, he was quiet for some time.
"Yes, we are there and there is trouble." Cyrus looked at the monster in front of them.
Trent roared. His body enlarge and two horns protruded on his head and a long smoky black tail with a sharp tip. "Give me back my Ella!!" the trees began to shake the branches shoots out and began to chase Amorah. Cyrus's eyes and mouth went wide. Chen was also surprised. "That's Trent, what happened?" Chen asked himself as he watched the demon Trent has become.
The trees now have sharp jagged teeth, and the tips of their branches were as sharp as a needle.
KC and Xander were teleported over. They heard her scream. Trent was standing in the air and looked down at Lady Amorah.
Michael went closer to Cyrus. "Are we just going to stand here and do nothing?" Cyrus craned his neck to look at the oblivious Michael. "This is not a fight we want to join." He looked at Trent who was still standing in the air, enjoying the cries of his prey.
In the forest, Ella was still using her sword to push the fog away. She stopped abruptly and gritted her teeth in pain. She didn't let the pain make her falter as she continued the Journey. She heard someone whimpering when she got closer she saw a teenage boy hugging his legs while crying.
"Are you okay?" The boy gasped in fear before looking up. "You don't look like a ghost." The boy's voice was groggy. "I am not a ghost, I am a human like you." The Asian boy's eyes were now filled with hope, he stood up to walk over to her and the fog increased blinding both of them from seeing each other. "Hey! Where are you!?" Ella swung her sword and began to look for the boy.
Xander looked up at the sky, he had a dreading feeling in the pit of his stomach, he knew that if he attacked that monster he will die instantly. "KC, go safe lady Amorah, I will distract him." KC nodded his head before he ran in the direction of Amorah's voice. Xander packed his short black silky hair. He saw Trent descending and he quickly ran in his direction.
Amorah's body was covered in injuries, she was limping when the ground softened and she began to sink. "Not again." She screamed. The soil burnt her skin, she was trying to conjure up a spell when another branch stabbed her in the shoulder. Tears rolled down her cheeks and she screamed in pain. She realized that the branch hasn't left her body. She looked over her shoulder and saw the devil worms crawling on the branch, they were coming toward her another branch stabbed her right lap the devil worms were on it too.
The worm began to pierce into her body and she screamed louder, her tears were flowing down so was her blood. The vampires and werewolves in Cyrus's team including Cyrus himself could smell the blood wafting in the air.
Xander jumped and threw a punch at Trent. But before his hand could touch Trent's cheeks, his hand became wobbly. He was beyond shocked at this.
KC used the black dust to quickly open a portal, he pushed Lady Amorah into it. Her legs were free from the soil, she fainted from the immense pain she was feeling. Trent looked in her direction. Xander noticed this and flung his leg up to kick Trent and his leg began a disintegrate Xander shook in fear.
"Get lost," Trent said in a demonic voice. The guy's bone pieced as he landed straight into the jagged mouth of the tree, the tree chewed him and his blood gushed out. The others stepped back. "You're right Cyrus, this isn't a fight we want to join." Michael looked so scared.
Trent screamed in anger. KC was able to escape with Amorah.
Ella was so exhausted that just when she was about to give up, she noticed a light. Even the heavy fog could not hide the light Ella ran toward the light. When she got there she saw a tree, and under the tree was seated the most innocent and beautiful-looking lady in the world, she was glowing. Her vibrant large green eyes landed on Ella and she smiled revealing her two deep dimples. She stood up and waved at Ella, and Ella subconsciously waved back at her. The dress she was wearing was a sky blue and white medieval fairy-looking dress like the one she sees in a fantasy movie. With a beautiful flower tiara on her head. "You don't look human and if I remember clearly only humans can enter this forest." The lady giggled, everything she did was elegant and cute.
"My name is Elfira, I was the first person to get trapped in this forest." The lady's angelic voice was like soothing opera music.
Outside the forest. Trent landed in front of the entrance of the forest, and the whole ground vibrated. Trent started pounding on the shield that is stopping non-humans from entering.
"There's no way, he can possibly break that shield," Chen said out loud and the others turn to look at him, except Cyrus. "Trent, what are you up to, is Ella really in there," Cyrus said in his mind.
"You mean that you have been in this forest for a thousand years." The lady hummed and Ella felt bad for her. Both of them are now seating under the tree. Ella hissed through her teeth again, she placed her hand on her chest. "Your life force is slowly living your body," Elfira informed her. "Do you have any idea why this forest is created and why it only traps humans?" "I know the story but it is a very long one." Said Elfira. "I have all the time in the world."
It has been thirty minutes and Trent kept pounding on the shield. "that thing doesn't seem to get tired." Mr. Ford whisper to Mike who was still staring with his mouth open.
"Ahhhhhhh!" Trent screamed before punching the shield once again and it shattered.
They were all so surprised that their mouth went wide open. "He actually broke the shield!" Mr. Ford yelled. Michael fell to his knees. "I was a fool for even suggesting that we should fight with the devil."
