IS ABOUT TRENT.

Ephyrus teleported into the eastern wing, swiftly entering the living room to find several guards lying lifeless. Moving deeper into the room, he abruptly stopped in shock at the sight of Ella lying on the ground. He hurriedly knelt beside her, checking for signs of life by placing his finger near her nose. Letting out a relieved sigh, he murmured, "I'm grateful you're still breathing."
He transported her into the chamber and instructed a maid to attend to her before joining Amorah. "How is she?" Amorah inquired. "She's stable," Ephyrus reassured before they proceeded to hunt for the soul responsible for the loss of half their guards.
Once the maid finished tending to the small cut on her forehead, she exited the room. Ella sat up, exhaling a sigh of relief. Recollecting the struggle to restrain him, she reflected on the recent events.
She wielded her sword, blocking his path. "Velder, please regain control," Ella pleaded. He nearly broke through, forcing her to narrowly evade him.
Frustrated, Ella rose to her feet as the Velder's soul transformed into an arrow and sped toward her. Reacting swiftly, she raised both hands, chanting a commanding spell. "Velder, I command you to cease!" The soul halted in its tracks.

Ella concentrated intensely, guiding him back to tranquility as his memories rushed back. "Miss Ella," he addressed her. "I'm relieved you're back, but time is short. Tell Trent where I am. Hurry!" Velder nodded and phased through the walls. As Ella turned, she encountered the soul of the fire user staring at her.
"You possess soul magic. Please return me to my body," the fire user implored. "I'll assist you, on one condition." "I'll do anything," he swiftly responded. "Fine. You must promise to aid me whenever I require it, and most importantly, you rescued me from the soul. That's the truth when questioned about what happened here." "I agree, I agree," he hurriedly consented. "Excellent." Ella reinstated his soul into his body, a smile forming as she watched him breathe once more.

"I did it!" she exclaimed joyously, standing up, only to be struck by a sudden wave of pain piercing her chest. Dizziness engulfed her, causing her to stagger before hitting her forehead and collapsing.
Touching her head with a frown, Ella realized she had intended to give herself a few superficial scratches and feign unconsciousness, but the exertion of pacifying Velder and reviving the other man must have drained her energy.
Meanwhile, Ephyrus arrived at the vast living room in the east wing. The other guards had removed the bodies from the area. Examining the room, he noticed several scratches on the walls and floor. He calmly approached where Amorah and Milli were attentively listening to the man's account.
"So, you're unaware of who the soul magic user is, and you didn't witness the berserk soul?" Milli inquired, to which the man nodded. "It's a miracle we survived," Milli remarked. "You may go and rest," Amorah instructed. The man respectfully bowed to Amorah and, upon reaching Ephyrus, he bowed again before hastily departing.
Meanwhile, Trent returned to his room, taking a cold shower before entering his walk-in closet. Sensing a chilling presence, he hurried out and discovered Velder floating inside his bedroom. Trent was so shocked that he momentarily forgot to breathe.
"How are you a soul? Did Ephyrus discover you and eliminate you? Is Ella safe?" Trent bombarded Velder with questions. "Ella is unharmed and secure, and I am not deceased," Velder replied. "Then how?" Trent pointed at him, his face brimming with inquiries.

"Elfira transferred her abilities to Ella, and she's been practicing; she's become quite proficient," he announced, spreading out his arms and twirling around.
Trent remained too astonished to speak. "Aren't you going to say anything?" Velder inquired. "Ella has Elfira's power? Does Ephyrus know?" Trent approached him.
"He's unaware; I've been using my energy to suppress hers," Velder revealed. Trent let out a sigh of relief. "I'm relieved. Please continue protecting her for me," Trent requested, stunning Velder completely.
"Trent just said 'please,'" Velder thought to himself. "You need to return," Trent said. "Ella is hidden in a..." "I know where she is," Trent interrupted, leaving Velder dumbfounded.

"Afterward, I just need you to handle something before returning," Trent requested. Velder furrowed his brows. "Okay."
Upon concluding his conversation with Velder, Trent proceeded to visit King Augustus. Rumors circulating among the maids about Amorah and a man resembling him had reached Trent. Upon arriving at the office, the entire royal family was present. Trent stood at the door's threshold.
The moment Augustus laid eyes on Trent, a surge of anger coursed through him. However, seeing Trent's sorrowful eyes caused a pang of guilt and regret. Trent was his son, someone he had raised and admired, and who sought his guidance in matters of love. How could he detest his son because of those two individuals?
Augustus gazed at him. "Why don't you come in, son?" Augustus wanted to chastise himself for almost despising his own child. He smiled, attempting to reassure Trent. "Yes, I wanted to come in, but Joel is in my seat."
Augustus' smile froze. Joel turned towards Trent. "Why can't you just RIBBIT RIBBIT?" Joel covered his mouth, drawing everyone's attention. Acher turned his face away. "What's wrong with you two? Acher bellows, and you croak," Isolde scolded the two of them.
Ariadna chuckled while Faithia sat beside her father wearing a somber expression. "Joel, move," Trent commanded, passing by Acher and standing in front of Joel with his arms crossed.
"I'm older than you," Joel retorted. "Trent, you can take the empty seat next to Faithia." Faithia's heart sank suddenly. "I don't want to sit there; I want to sit here," she insisted, causing Augustus to develop a sudden headache.
"Well, I'm not moving from this seat," Joel declared, leaning on his knuckles. Trent sighed, his eyes glinting. Joel felt his body pressed against the wall, encountering a strong feminine scent. He turned to see Faithia looking back at him.
"How did I..." he began, glancing towards Trent, only to find Trent seated in his original place. Joel seethed quietly in anger. "Trent, you need to learn to respect your older brother," Isolde admonished him. She sat on Augustus' right side, beside Ariadna.

"It was because I respect him, that's why I moved him," Trent explained with a quick smile.
"Enough for now, we have an urgent matter to discuss," Augustus interjected.
"What's it about?" Acher, seated in the visitor's seat beside Trent, inquired.
"It concerns Trent," Augustus disclosed, capturing everyone's attention. "What do they want with Trent?" Isolde asked her husband, while Faithia, in contrast, seemed pleased with the news, desiring Trent out of her life.
"Trent, they want to meet you in two days, and if you don't," Augustus looked directly at Trent, "they will kill Ella." Trent remained unsurprised by the threat. "We cannot surrender Trent," Joel exclaimed, surprising everyone with his stance.
"I mean, they must have a wicked plan in store," Joel added, clearing his throat and turning toward the wall.
"We won't hand Trent over; we'll go to war and put an end to their nefarious schemes," Augustus declared, outlining his plan to the family.

Back at the hideout, Ephyrus remained suspicious of Ella. "Hey, you!" he called to the guard standing by the door. The guard swiftly approached and knelt close to Ephyrus's feet. "Go and summon Milli for me."
Meanwhile, Ella paced anxiously in her room. Fortunately, Velder had cast a spell on his body before she extracted his soul. Ella nervously bit her nails. Slowly, his body began to reappear, becoming visible in the corner of the room for all to see.
Panicked, Ella grasped her hair, contemplating her next move. Suddenly, Velder's soul flew into the room. "Thank goodness, why did you take so long?" Ella hurried over to him. "Restore me to my body, and I'll explain everything," he offered. Ella agreed and used her spell to return him to his body.
