The PLAN PART TWO

Cyrus sat at the bedside, gently offering peeled apples to Ariadna. She seemed dazed by the gesture. "What's wrong?" Cyrus inquired.

"Nothing," Ariadna replied quietly, nibbling on the apple. "It's just unusual, you peeling and feeding me an apple."

"Why does it seem strange?" Cyrus questioned, bringing the apple closer to her lips.

"Why are you doing this?" Ariadna questioned. "Because you want to, or because you feel guilty about what happened to my child?"

Cyrus felt a lump in his throat. "I... I..." His eyes welled up, and he struggled to form words. Meanwhile, Marlow, standing nearby, focused on texting Ephyrus.

After checking his text, Marlow hurried down the hall. As he approached Ariadna's quarters, guards blocked his path. "What's your business here?" the stern guard asked.

"Trent sent me to summon Cyrus to the meeting room," Marlow explained, masking his irritation. He despised how Trent treated him, but it granted him opportunities to update his boss on their plans.

"We've spoken to her maid; she's going to inform Mr. Cyrus," one of the guards stated.

"Okay," Marlow stepped aside, awaiting Cyrus. Ariadna drew closer to Cyrus, grasping his broad hands. "Cyrus, it's not your fault."

There came a soft knock on the door. "Your Highness, the maid said—"

"What is it?" Ariadna inquired.

"Mr. Cyrus is being summoned," the maid informed them.

"Okay, I have to go," Cyrus stood up from the bed's edge and left the room.

In a dimly lit cave, grunting emanated from within. Ephyrus lay on a small bed, drenched in sweat, while Amorah stood before him, biting her nails anxiously. Something squirmed beneath his skin, causing him intense pain. After an hour, worms burst out, leaving his body bleeding. Amorah rushed to him, tearfully expressing concern.

"My love, are you okay?" she asked, caressing his cheeks. "I'm sorry you have to endure this pain."

"Our son went through this," Ephyrus's voice strained.

"But I did it to make him powerful, just like I'm doing for you. Trent used it to torture me when I trapped Ella in the forbidden forest," Amorah revealed angrily.

"Varris, can you tell me how he got that worm?" Amorah glanced at the darkened wardrobe in the room.

The door creaked open slowly. A pale, tired-looking young man emerged, his nails resembling daggers, clad in oversized clothing, holding an android phone.

"I don't know," he muttered softly. "You can go back and watch your animes," Ephyrus suggested.

"Okay," he replied, slowly retreating to the cupboard. Ephyrus called Amorah over.

"We're going to be a family soon—me, you, and our son," Ephyrus smiled. Amorah leaned in, kissing him. "I love you, Ephyrus."

"I love you too, Amorah," he replied. The significance of the message sent by Marlow remained unknown to Ephyrus.

Meanwhile, Milli held her severed arm, the clean-cut from Blue Justice preventing excessive bleeding.

"We've spoken to her maid; she's going to inform Mr. Cyrus," one of the guards stated.

Meanwhile, Milli held her severed arm, the clean-cut from Blue Justice preventing excessive bleeding.

"You little bitch! You cut my arm off!!" "and if you try anything funny, I will cut off your head." Milli said a spell but nothing happened. Ella sneered. "wondering why your little spell isn't working?' Ella said in a low and domineering voice. "The weapons created for every agent, in the HOJ organization, block all forms of spells, and the brainiacs invented this weapon to adjust to whatever non-human I fight with, they know your every weakness." Ella kept circling Milli as she talked.

Milli gritted her teeth. She used her complete arm to stand up and carried her cut-off arm. "I will get you for this." She abruptly opened the door and banged it as she left. Ella looked at her empty finger. "I wish I could get my engagement ring back.", Ella muttered to herself. Velder came out of her shadow. He smiled at her, and Lla blinked confusedly at him. "What?" "I have to bow to you, for what you did to Milli." Velder smiled wider.

Ella rolled her eyes and sat back on her bed.

Cyrus entered the meeting hall with Malrow. "Welcome Cyrus." Trent waved at him. Cyrus ignored him and stood beside his grandfather's side. "It is settled, Romulus, you're in charge.", Augustus said and Romulus slightly bowed his head to the king.

Here's a rephrased version of the text:

"You cut my arm off, you little..." Milli's threat hung in the air. "And any funny business, I'll sever your head," she warned. Attempting a spell, Milli found it futile against Ella's smirk.

"Curious why your little spell isn't working?" Ella taunted. "The HOJ's weapons, crafted for agents, nullify spells against any non-human. They're tailored to exploit your every weakness," Ella explained, circling Milli.

Gritting her teeth, Milli, using her remaining arm, rose and held her severed limb. "I'll come for you," she vowed, storming out and slamming the door. Ella lamented the loss of her engagement ring.

Unexpectedly, Velder emerged from Ella's shadow, praising her for the incident with Milli. Ella, bewildered, watched him with confusion before rolling her eyes and retreating to her bed.

In the meeting hall, Cyrus entered alongside Marlow. Trent greeted Cyrus, who chose to stand by his grandfather's side, ignoring Trent's welcome. Augustus declared Romulus in charge, to which Romulus respectfully acknowledged the king with a slight bow.

"All personnel, including the crown princes, should come with me to the organization," announced a commanding voice. Everyone rose from their seats. Marlow, returning, pondered what had transpired in his absence, while Cyrus remained perplexed by the sudden turn of events.

"Come with me, son. I'll explain on the way," Elder Potter said, draping his arm over Cyrus's shoulder.

Meanwhile, at Amorah and Ephyrus's hideout, Ephyrus admired the large red diamond on the engagement ring. Amorah joined him, curious. "What's intriguing you?"

Ephyrus chuckled. "Do you know Trent put his blood in this ring?" Amorah, frowning, saw no evidence of blood. Ephyrus clarified, "The red hue is his blood. That's how he tracked Ella; it's why he visited the incomplete building."

"Is that how he found Ariadna?" Amorah inquired.

"Hmm," Ephyrus responded.

"Milord, Milli is here," Amorah informed Ephyrus. "Let her in."

Milli entered, her hand reattached to her severed arm. Amorah and Ephyrus were astonished. "What happened to you?" Amorah rushed to her side.

"It turns out that girl is more than meets the eye," Milli began. "She did this to me." Embarrassed, she admitted, "But it was with the aid of their highly advanced weapons."

Velder engaged in conversation with Milli, questioning why her sword couldn't break the shield. She explained the limitations of her weapon and how she lacked the capabilities to fight against Amorah and Ephyrus with her current equipment.

"We must wait for Trent," Ella advised him.

Meanwhile, within the bustling organization, the Brainiacs were busy upgrading everyone's weapons and removing limitations.

Romulus summoned all the junior staff to the office. Addressing them, he spoke about the escalating threat of the rogues, hinting at an impending war. Congratulating some on their promotions, he delineated their duties, prompting envy from others witnessing the elevated positions.

"Levels twenty to seven are responsible for evacuating the residents of Willshade back to the capital," Elder Romulus announced. "Levels six to three will manage the roadblocks, preventing entry into Willshade. Medical personnel will support and attend to any injuries."

With a salute, the assembled groups acknowledged Romulus's directives before dispersing from the vast meeting room.

Meanwhile, Trent was strolling through the hallway when his phone buzzed in his pocket. Retrieving it, he answered the call, "Who is this?"

"It's Edward, Ella's grandfather," came the voice on the other end.
