Chapter 3: New siblings
They then arrived in the living room where there was 5 people sitting and waiting for their arrival.
"There he is!" A guy exclaimed as he got up.
He looked similar to John, but slightly shorter and younger.
"He's Axel Silver, my younger brother and that's his wife next to him, Mary Silver, they will be your new parents" John introduced
Mary was a beautiful woman in her early 30s, 165cm tall, wavy black hair, purple eyes, smooth white skin and wears a nice blue dress.
"I'm just telling you guys now, I still don't have a lot of trust in you guys. I don't really have great experience meeting one of you" Perseus said
"Let's not group us with the others and get along" a guy joined in.
He looked similar to Perseus, but he's around 179cm tall, light blue eyes, white hair with light blue tips and has a charming smile, dressed in a long sleeve white shirt and black pants.
"I'm Nova Silver, and this is my twin sister, Dabria Silver. We both turn 15 this year" He pointed to a girl who was sipping tea on the couch
Dabria was a beautiful girl around 169cm tall, straight black hair, purple eyes, and dressed in a black long sleeve shirt and black pants, she just waved at them with a smile.
"They look more like their mother than their father, and you also don't look that much different from Nova, nice to meet you, I'm Olivia, Johns wife" A nice woman stood up.
She was about 168cm tall, black hair, amber eyes.
"Are those your spirit beast? What are their names?" she asked
"The grey cat is Ace and the white wolf is Siege" Perseus answered
"Hey is it true that you already know how to use your Arcana already?" Nova asked
"Yeah, is that surprising?" Perseus replied
"Are you serious?! Even me and my sister only managed to use at your age, and most people can do it after the coming of age ritual" he stated "And you can do it when you were 3"
"Well I barely can back, I don't receive training like any of you. Besides what is this coming of age ritual that you're talking about?" Perseus questioned
"Let's just get you to your room first" John cut in "We'll let you worry about all that later, you must be tired, we'll also bring food to your room afterwards."
We were then lead to a room, it got a book shelf, a big bed, 2 big windows, a desk and basically everything Perseus wished for in a room, but what stands out was an armor stand that was decorated with a shining white armor and a beautiful sword right beside it.
"Those were the same armor Father Jake wore when he was a knight before becoming a priest" John said "It's yours now, make yourself comfortable, I will bring you your food"
"Don't you have servants to do that for you?" Perseus asked curiously
"We do not have one, servants are very expensive to afford" John answered "And we don't really need one"
"One more question, what about orphans in the kingdom? They are purebloods too, but I don't see them being send out to the buries"
"We have orphanages here that take cares of them, Artia, the kingdom that we're in, is rich enough to do so" John answered "And yes the kingdom would be able to afford taking care of children from the buries but they choose not to do so"
John then went away to get their food, Perseus and the 2 beast then approached the armor.
"Why did he come out all the way to the buries? I do not understand at all" Perseus said
"He was always strange" Siege nodded "Let's relax for now, we now got a better life in front of us"
"What about the buries that are about to be attacked?!" Perseus replied "We may not know those people, but we can't just let them be"
"Calm down" Ace joined in "It would be suicide, we do not have the strength to take care of the upcoming attack, let's just think about our revenge later when we're all stronger"
Perseus then cursed as he walked around the room
"And besides, the Silver family getting another child out of the blue will raise suspicions, it won't be long till people find out that we're from the buries" Perseus opened the window and sat on the window sill.
Ace then jumped onto his lap and Siege approached them and sat on the floor.
"Then we'll get stronger, so strong that no one will mess with us" Siege suggested
"And we'll get revenge on the ones that didn't help us" Ace added "We'll also get revenge on the ones that hurt us"
"You 2 are right, I was just not in the right space" Perseus then ruffled Ace's head
John then arrived with their food and they munched it down before getting the best sleep of their lives.
They woke up early in the morning and got a hot shower together. Perseus then put on new clothes as he then got out to explore the house.
"It maybe my habits, but I'm so tempted to steal all these precious things around us" Perseus commented
"Well let's not" Ace replied while sitting on Perseus' shoulder, they were walking and exploring till they saw a room with lights on and the door opened, they entered to see a 2 floor library. Stacks and stacks of books were in there, big, small, thick and thin.
There was 2 other people in there, Nova and Dabria who were reading. Dabria then heard the door opened and looked over.
"You're free to read whatever you like and sit wherever you like" She said before turning back to her book
"Why did you wake up so early?" Nova asked "Usually it's just us 2 here"
"I usually wake up at this time" Perseus answered before going off to search for a book
"History of Artia, world geography, how to tame your beast, reincarnated into a world of clichés..." Perseus read aloud "There's really no organization here now is it? What do you 2 want to read?"
"I'll read the history of Artia, we need to know our surroundings" Siege answered
"Me too" Ace added
Perseus then placed the book on the floor, Ace turned the pages as they both read
"I recommend reincarnated into a world of clichés" Nova suggested as he was now standing by their side "It's a pretty good story book, I read it all the time."
"Are you getting paid to say that?" Perseus asked
"No, I wish I was" Nova smiled "So what do you do in your free time?"
"Cleaning the church, washing my clothes, pickpocketing, st-" Perseus answered but got cut off
"I don't mean that, I mean like a hobby, what do you do in your free time?"
"I don't know, reading random story books the old man left behind while practice using my Arcana"
"Well I'm curious to see, will you show it to me?"
"...Sure" Perseus answered
"Now let's go little brother, we have a lot of adventures ahead of us" He turned and lead Perseus away
"We'll be here reading" Ace said as he was waving his paw
"See you later, Perseus" Siege joined in
