I awaken slowly, my mind in a fog. Looking around I find myself in a forest. The thought slips into my mind, this is where I hunted down the black one…..grim? Strange thoughts flow through my mind...and only some of them are mine.
**Yes little one it's starting already. You're not alone anymore. You are now two souls joined in a common purpose.**
I sit on the ground, and close my eyes as more memories flow through my head. Grim of all types....Ozpin...…Salem. Slowly at first, then faster, not pausing at all. Pain seems to explode in my head as more and more memories burst into my brain….. then it is over. I keep me eyes closed as a growl escapes my jaws. Finally the pain recedes after an unknown length of time, and is gone. Standing I give myself a shake to get rid of the last remnants. That is when I feel it, like someone waking from a long slumber. I can 'feel'….her? Yes it is a female….a woman.
**Aw good, sleeping beauty is finally awake. Time to join her.**
Next thing I know the forest is gone, and I realize I'm not alone.
??? POV
Opening my eyes I find myself in a place I've never seen before. I am in a small cleaning by a pond. Everything is surrounded by fog, and darkness.
"So you finally decided to wake up I see."
Turning my head to the side I see a man walk out of the shadows, accompanied by a large white wolf with red and blue eyes. The man himself is ordinary in almost every way. Average height and build, with brown hair.
"Where am I, and how did I get here?"
The man smiles at me. "The how is that I brought you, and the where….. well that's complicated."
The man then looked down at the wolf as it looked back at him. After a few seconds the wolf looked back towards me, and with a nodded at me.
**Your in my head… or is that eye?**
Laughing a bit the man looked at the wolf then the woman before him.
" Close, we are talking in your mind little one, but you my dear are in his eye."
Shock seemed to take her voice from her so the man continued his explanation.
"His right eye is special, I gifted it to him after he lost his. It also has the properties of a soul container among other things."
Walking forward, the man put his hand to her cheek before he continued.
"If I had saved your body, the ones who ambushed you would have figured out that you had survived. They probably would have targeted your family looking for you. This way you're all safe for now."
Shocked again by his answer, as well as his hand, it took me a bit to respond.
"…..I guess I understand, but why a wolf? I mean he looks strong, but he's still an animal."
**Why do you humans think you're the only ones able to fight better then others?**
Standing he started walking towards me. As he drew closer his blue eye seemed to glow.
**I happen to be one of the best hunters in my pack…. I mean family.**
"Enough, little one, it was a legitimate question."
Raising his arm, a scene appeared in the air. Starting with the slaughter of a pack of wolves, the Beowolf charged through the forest, killing any animals crossing it's path. Surprised, I couldn't help but yell out loud.
"What the hell is going on, Grimm don't attack animals."
**This one is crazed, drunk on blood and killing**
Minutes seemed to pass swiftly, until it reached a clearing in the trees. There in front of it was two small children, a little blonde girl pulling a small black haired girl in a wagon. Surprise turned to fear in my heart. "No not them, please not my…."
A hand landed on my shoulder, calming my fear as the scene continued. As the Beowolf stalked towards the girls, a white streak burst from the bushes, tearing into the back of it's leg, then racing into more cover, only to appear again, attacking the other leg. Looking closer I finally noticed what shouldn't be possible.
"How could you have Aura? That's impossible!"
Watching the fight continue, the claws that took his right eye, and shattered his aura, to the killing blow as he took out it's throat, fangs shining with a blue glow.
"How it's possible for the little one here to have Aura is simple. It's my fault." The man turned to me, letting the scene disappear. "My presence here affects things like probabilities, causing things to happen that normally shouldn't be possible."
"Just who are you?" I asked.
"Let's just say that I'm not from around here and leave it at that. From here on out, you two are going to work together." The man started to walk into the fog, disappearing from view.
**Ya he does that a lot. You'll get used to it.**
Turning to look at me, the wolf sniffs the air. **You smell like her you know, the tiny one with the silver eyes.**
Surprised at first at his comment, I looked into the red and blue eyes of my newest partner.
"I guess that shouldn't be a shock, considering I'm her mother. Hello, my name is Summer Rose."
