Training with Toph

After a long conversation with Toph, her parents started to accept who she was which made Toph very happy

They allowed Toph do to what she wants to do and aslong as it didn't cross a line she could wear whatever or be whoever she wanted to

Jude felt more than happy after seeing this, In the show her parents didn't accept her until after the 100 year war, so seeing this was sort of an accomplishment

It had been a week since the bandit event and Jude started to train with Toph, And even though Jude was talented enough to easily bend earth, he wasn't familiar with the techniques that apply when bending

Jude and Toph were at a rocky area outside the manor

Jude stood on a pillar with a blindfold covering his eyes as he heard Toph annoyed voice

" Don't use your eyes or ears to listen, use your feet and feel the earth respond to you"

" That's what i'm trying to do…." Jude said as he was dodging the occasionally flying rocks Toph was throwing

Jude found sensing the earth already difficult but the flying rocks annoyed him on a different level

" Stop-Stop!," Jude yelled

" What? Don't you wanna learn how I see?" Toph Asked

" Of course I do but you need to slow down with the throwing, I can't focus at all!"

Toph awkwardly laughed then replied " Oke sure"

Jude Jumped down and thought' damn it, seems like learning how to see through earth is harder than I thought'

Jude looked at Toph and said " Hey, how did you even learn to bend earth so good?"

" well when I was a small child I met 2 earth moles which I learned how to bend by copying them"

Jude eyes lit up and asked " Do you know where they are?"

Toph punched Jude's shoulder saying " Forget about it, I don't know where they are"

tsk..

" too bad, Guess i need to practice more"

Toph slapped Jude's back and said " Yes, so go on the pilar again hehe"

Jude looked at her suspiciously " You just want to keep hitting me with the rocks, right….."

Toph put on a serious face and replied " Im helping you train "

" Yeah… Sure" replied Jude

Seeing Toph about to hit him again, Jude said " Alright alright, I will go on"

" Good, lets continue " Toph smiled

After few more hours of training Jude got better at dodging the rocks but not without his whole body aching with pain, Although earth benders have a tougher body than other benders, they still had a limit .

" Aghh fuck…. "

Toph looked at the miserable looking Jude and not acting as if she didn't cause it she said " Don't worry, a night rest and you'll feel better"

When they got back at the manor Jude went to wash himself then went to his room to change clothes.

Sitting on his bed Jude contemplated about following the Avatar but Toph most likely will and since she will Jude would too

' It's been a week, Aang will probably visit here in 3 more weeks…. Until then I can still think about it'

After thinking some more Jude went to bed and slept like a baby

The next morning Jude ate breakfast In the canteen before changing clothes

He wore his battle clothes , which was the typical earth bender clothes, A short sleeveless green t-shirt with a matching green trousers

After changing clothes he went to Toph, He stopped visiting the Yun school after a week, After all who needs teachers when you got Toph and master Yun didn't have anything to teach him anyways

walking towards her door Jude saw few guards placed near her door, But since he knew Toph and the guards were familiar with him, they didn't bother him

After knocking on the door and waiting few moments,Toph opened the door,wearing her Iconic clothes with the back part of her hair in a bun with an earth kingdom hair band, while the front part was loose. She looked wild and unrestrained, The real Toph

Jude couldn't help but compliment, You really look good in those clothes"

" Thanks, Im sometimes jealous that I can't see what people wear or how their faces look like… Hearing what my mom says though , You're good looking yourself "

Jude put his hands through his hair and said " I sure am handsome, I pity for you're unable to see real beauty "

*Bang*

Toph punched him again

" Now let's continue our training, shall we?"

Jude stood up and rubbed the place where she punched him and thought ' Fuk she's strong',but facing Toph He smiled and continued " Sure, lets go"

After travelling for a bit they arrived at their training ground

Toph made an earth pillar before telling Jude to jump on it

She said " Alright so we will continue our training from yesterday, And since you made progress (Finally) It'll be easier for you, so try to not get hit as much

Ignoring her small remark, Jude Jumped on the pillar and replied " Sure thing" as he blind folded himself

" Remember to use the earth,to hear and see"

Hearing Toph, Jude focused on his feet to feel the earth, once focused he got a strange feeling from the earth, as if it was alive ' Amazing' he thought ,But suddenly he could see a small object flying towards him from nowhere, he abruptly dodged and thought' I saw it! I saw it , coming!'

Toph noticed how he dodged it abruptly as if he saw it,' wow he's starting to learn ' " Again! " Shouted Toph

Jude felt the excitement and replied " Again!" He focused again feeling the earth from his feet, he dodged another rock flying towards him, making him more excited, But after dodging another one, a rock hit his back suddenly making him fall

" Fuck"

Toph walked towards him and said, you did good so far….But I noticed that you were too focused on one area, making you neglect your surroundings and even behind yourself

"Agh…I know" Jude groaned in frustration

" Just be aware of your surroundings and you'll be good" said Toph

Jude nodded and jumped back on the pillar. " Alright lets continue "'

" Ready" Announced Toph as she threw another tennis ball sized rock
