El Gives a Covenant

"After school, I want to go with Nusa."

//

Nusa is not like a girl in general who is easy to get along with other people. The proof, until now she has not had friends who are fellow girls. What is, she is still attached to El's scope with Reza and Mario, only the three of them are currently her friends.

"El, why don't you change seats? Take turns with me. I want to sit next to Nusa, you can sit with Reza." This is Mario speaking. After he owed in the cafeteria, took two packs of bread decorated with a promise to the cafeteria owner that El would pay for what he took, he was already sitting in the classroom with his body facing back, making it easier to talk to El and Nusa.

Hearing that, El immediately raised an eyebrow. "Girlish." That was all he said to his friend, there were no more words to refute Mario's request to change seats.

"Better keep your mouth shut, you already know that now El is the protector of Nusa. And you should find another girl, your life doesn't work." Reza grabbed it, he sat in the same position as Mario. He reached out and lightly patted his friend's shoulder.

Mario removed Reza's hand from his shoulder, then chuckled. "Just like what you did, you are also single, you even sound like you're stepping on yourself."

"I am a qualified single, a Reza who has been given the green light from El," he said looking at El, he wasn't afraid to publish this because yes as proof of his seriousness. "Isn't that right, El?" he asked the person concerned, raising his eyebrows.

As for El? He was silent, then turned to the side where Nusa was reading a textbook. "What are you doing now?" He asked.

Wait a minute, El is making small talk?

Nusa, who felt she was being spoken to, immediately turned to El, slightly lifting the book which was her focal point. "Reading, can't you see what I'm doing?" She answered with a simple answer.

Hearing that, Reza and Mario held back laughter. If they laughed too loudly, El's murderous gaze might strike them and make their guts shrink, threatening their prosperity this morning.

El snorted, what kind of answer did Nusa say? "You two turn around," he ordered his two friends, who were desperately trying to hold back laughter.

Receiving orders like that, let alone speaking in a cold tone, Reza and Mario immediately turned their chairs and their bodies stared at the blackboard which was still empty because the class had not yet started.

"Second standby, sharpen your hearing," Mario whispered to Reza.

While giving a thumbs up, Reza understood with Mario's gesture which meant they would eavesdrop on El and Nusa talking behind his back. "Ready commander, carry it out."

El cleared his throat, "I heard you guys!"

After that, the bodies of Reza and Mario were seen sitting upright. And yes, of course, this allowed El to continue his conversation with Nusa.

"Have you had breakfast?" he asked again who seemed to still want to chat with Nusa but didn't have a heavier topic of conversation.

"Of course I did, I made fried rice for myself."

"Then?"

"Then what, Bara? You asked, and that is my answer."

"Then where is it for me?"

Nusa widened her eyes, in an almost out-of-place parable. She couldn't believe El would say that to her.

Covering her half-open mouth, Nusa finally scratched the back of her neck that didn't itch. "Euhm... Want me to make fried rice for tomorrow? Then tomorrow I'll make it and take it to school—"

"Don't worry, I will come to your house tomorrow."

Not just once, but twice, Nusa was surprised by what El said. She had absolutely no thoughts of going to school with this boy, especially since she was already blacklisted in Priska's brain memory.

El didn't know why he was saying this, he couldn't even try to retract his words. Without wanting to hear what Nusa said in response, he chose to pull out the textbook the girl beside him was reading. "I borrow,"

Nusa was still silent, she shifted her gaze to another direction and more precisely to the front, seeing the backs of Reza and Mario who were up and down like they were laughing but without a sound.

"Good Morning Kids!"

Suddenly, the voice in this class was clear and frightening.

"Today we will have a daily test. Please put books or paper and any media in the bag, provide the necessary pens or stationery. Nobody cheats, if someone cheats on the exam, then I don't hesitate to give you all red marks."

Suddenly Reza and Mario fell silent, they both looked back. "Dead, we haven't learned anything," he said in unison.

El shrugged his shoulders, it was normal for a sudden daily test like this to happen. It is quite annoying for students who have not mastered the material or have not even studied to prepare for this daily exam at all, but for El, the sudden daily exam can train brain agility with a good study system.

"Poor you." The answer is short, concise, and clear.

Mario grimaced hearing that, El is sometimes stingy but usually in the final hour near the end of the exam time, he immediately gave all the answers willingly. But yes, like this, the consequences of having to panic first. "Kiss to you, you are good, you are very handsome, crazy, I think I will become your fan line."

Reza nodded his head, following Mario who started with his seduction moves. "Yeah El, come on. You're the coolest one here, later if you want we can both be slaves to your car wash for a whole month to get answers for today's test."

Why are the two of them willing to seduce even like this? The answer is... this is a math subject, again it needs to be emphasized with a capital letter MATHEMATICS. So, their value should not be bad let alone read.

"Agreed," El said as usual.

"Reza, Mario! Why are you discussing this with El? If I see the three of you score are the same as last week, I will dry you on the field today like dried fish!"

Reza and Mario excitedly turned around, both grimaced then apologized as a sign of regret for having chatted but ignored the sentence 'If I see the three of you score the same as last week, I will dry you on the field today like dried fish!'.

If El, Reza, and Mario sunbathe on the field as punishment, they are used to this, just imagine on the beach and enjoy every sweat that comes from the heat stinging the skin.

Returning to Nusa, she grimaced while hitting her head gently. "Stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid!" She cursed with a small mumble, repeating the word 'stupid' four times.

El heard that then without turning to Nusa he finally asked. "What's the problem this time?" he asked in an even tone.

Nusa's eyebrows dropped, her gaze looked sad. She turned to El, then arched a smile. "Bara, can I also cheat like Reza and Mario?" she asked in a scared tone, even her hands were squeezing each other.

El turned to Nusa. "No, you can't do anything underhanded."

"Huh, why? That time I asked you to teach me math material."

"What do you mean? Didn't we already do it?"

"No, you haven't taught me and now I don't understand..."

"What's in it for me to help you? If there is no profit, I don't want to."

Nusa sighed slowly, had El not been a scary person, she would have beaten the man's body for being annoying. "I... I'll give you some sweet tea in the cafeteria, how about it?"

"What was that offer? No, I didn't accept it." El replied while chuckling with no interest at all.

"Come on, Bara, please..." Nusa said until she looked at El with puppy eyes, she was begging the man who was very similar to the chunk of ice.

"BARA, NUSA! DON'T TALK AGAIN, OR I WILL EXPECT YOU OUT OF THE CLASS!"

Nusa gasped in surprise and immediately shifted her gaze to the front of the class, looking at the teacher who was teaching. "S-sorry, ma'am." She answered in a low tone for fear of being reprimanded again.

But not with El still holding on to his position, he looks calm. "You must be my slave, you must be with me wherever and whenever I am. When I need you, you must be there. And if you want to travel or go anywhere, you must ask for my permission. Today's exam questions, and that means, I'm giving you a pact."

Indeed, on the one hand, Nusa wanted to protest, but on the other hand, she was happy to hear El speak at length even though their conversation led to things that only benefited one person.
