CHAPTER 26

Albion reached out to her, hoping for her to take his hand and as she lifted hers another hand suddenly came from behind Jade, intercepting the handshake or hold and held her hand.

"Dance with me."

The voice came out husky, cold, calm but impatient, domineering, commanding, leaving no room for argument.

Before she could turn her head to see who it was, he placed a hand on her waist and turned her to him.

Everything had happened so fast for her and all she knew was that there was a strange man holding her close to his chest and she did not like being touched.

Surprisingly she did not feel irritated bu hos presence or the fact that his hand lodged deep down her waist held her firmly like she was his possession.

She took in a deep breath, inhailing his muscular lovely scent followed by the proud perfume that clung to his shirt.

'Damn.' That was the only words her poor brain could think of forming at this moment.

On the other hand, Albion who felt this was his chance to dance with the peerless beauty had been eyeing was shocked by the ride interruption and possessive attitude the man before him was causing.

He gritted his teeth, his eyes narrowing at the rude stranger as he watched all the places where he had placed his hands on Jade.

He had been with her for some minutes now and had not yet laid his hands on her body other than her hand and now this guy swoops in and places his hand on her waist close to her butt and the other on her lovely white skin.

Aarrrrrghhhh!!!!

"Hey, what do you think you are doing?" Albion found his speech after some seconds.

All these while Jake did not know what came over him. One second he was watching Jade enjoy the guy's company and at the other, he just could not handle it when his mind felt like they were going to dance as they both had their gaze in the dance floor, especially with the kind of dance he saw her friends doing with the guys.

It pissed him off and he stood up.

Everything for him happened in a flash and all he knew he was acting like a protective hen against a hawk.

Yes in his eyes, Albion was the hawk and Jade just his chick.

So when Albion's words came out, he blinked, his mind finally coming nack to his senses but he had already acted this way, shocking his friends and her friends who were about beckoning Jade to join them.

There was no backing down now lest he looked like a fool. At that moment she managed to pull away then looked up so she could see her assailant that she surprisingly felt calm leaning into.

It was as though her singular action triggered the jealousy in him. The second their gazes met, he felt hos heartbeat increase as his eyes roamed over her beautiful face.

He did not know what to do and neither did she. She recognized him in an instant.

He was her... Her soon to be husband.

Gosh!

If she could collapse, Jade would have done that but all factor of that happening in her body was completely washed away from her brain and all she could do was stare into those lovely eyes of his.

He could feel her heart beat increase too due to their closeness and so could she.

None of them spoke, they remained still staring into each others eyes until Albion spoke again, breaking them from their moment.

"Hey." This time he took it further, placing a hand on Jake's that was holding her waist.

He peeled his gaze reluctantly off of her and looked at Albion.

The look he gave Jade was different from the one he was glaring straight at Albion. He had the look if dominance like a werewolf or a dragon would have, signifying my territory.

For a minute there, Albion was petrified by that gaze and while he was dumbstruck, Jake released Jade and held her hand. He had planned to dance with her but now, he wasn't so sure anymore and made to take her with him when Albion woke up from his trance and intercepted them again.

Jake was beginning to get irritated by hos pestering and snarled at him.

"Got a problem?"

"Yes. She is mine."

Both Jade and Jake had their eyes widening at the same time.

She belonged to no one, not even Jake, at least not yet.

Jake in the other hand just had his future wife called someone else's, was he missing something?

"Buzz off, while I am still nice," he warned, then pulled Jade with him but Albion was not backing down, not without a fight at least.

"No. She is dancing with me."

Honestly left to Aria she would have really loved to see how this all went as it was the first time she had anyone fight for her but the two guys were acting way over their head and she was not going to take it like some damsel in distress.

She wasn't. Perhaps the real Jade would have but not her.

"Fine then. Dance with me." He repeated his earlier question, throwing her off of her plans and making her look stunned again.

Pulling her towards the dance floor, he held Jade's body close to him as the music instantly hit a cool off vibe.

At that moment even her body did not respond and ahe was left to an awkward display with him. Nevertheless he managed to move her body with his but she was not feeling any of it.

On the other hand, Albion was still not having it. He could see she had lost all vibe in her so he felt she was being bullied and he went over again.

Holding unto her free hand, he tried to yank her away but Jake only tightened his grip on her body even further.

That was it. She was done being the barbie doll everyone was fighting for.
