Percy went down to the growing mob that was forming at the foot of the mountain. He was looking for Ginbo, when he found him he immediately jumped to him using geppo.
"Are you Ginbo?" Percy asked as he jumped down from the sky.
Ginbo looked up and frowned, he was not used to looking up to people other than his holiness's,
"and you are?" he said sarcastically.
"I told you" Percy said looking the guard in the eyes, "if you talk like that to me again, I will rip out your body parts piece by piece. It seems like you did not take my words seriously."
Percy didn't wait for Ginbo to respond and immediately ripped off the guards right arm off his body. Blood splashed everywhere as the crowd gasped and Ginbo cried out. He fell to the floor in pain and screamed at the top of his lungs.
"Be quiet or I'll rip out your tongue next" Percy said mercilessly.
Ginbo tried to quiet down, but the pain was unbearable so he settled for whimpering to himself.
"Is that wise?" Orange asked as she came from behind them. She was standing next to the guard the whole time, but Percy wasn't paying attention.
"It doesn't matter. He doesn't matter. In a power struggle between a mere guard and an admiral, who do you think will win? Plus, I told him to watch his language, he never listened."
"What if he tells the celestial dragons?" Orange asked frowning.
"Then, I'll kill him in front of them and tell them that he was weak and that was all. The nobles only care about those who can serve them. He now only has one arm, his usefulness to them has ran out. He's now trash."
"Your cruel" Orange said, not knowing if she should be happy or not.
"I told him to watch himself."
"He didn't know it was you" Orange tried to defend him.
"Oh well" Percy said shaking his head, "either way, he pissed me off. I was going to do it sooner or later anyways."
Ginbo heard all this and shuddered to himself,
[This all happened to me because I irritated him? That's it? He's a psychopath! I need to warn St. Barlo immediately.]
"What do we do with him?" Orange asked as she tilted her head at the now one armed guard.
"Nothing" Percy said nonchalantly. "We'll act like we don't know anything and if he says something, I'll kill him."
"Are you sure?" Orange asked again.
"Positive" Percy reaffirmed.
He then turned to the crowd who overheard the entire conversation.
"Ladies and gentlemen, may I have your attention please"
Everyone turned and looked at Percy and he had a wide smile on his face as they stared at the marine.
"Oh yeah, hold on one second" he said before turning to look at Orange. "I need you to take Ginbo and the other guards away from here."
"Why?" she asked.
"I have to talk to them, and I don't want these idiots" and Percy pointed towards the guards, "to overhear me."
Orange nodded and started to lead the guards away.
"Hold on" one of the guards protested, "why can't we be here?"
"Yeah?" another one said.
"Orange" Percy said pointedly.
She again nodded her head and started to channel her devil fruit ability. Orange gave all the guards mild migraines at the same time causing all of them to fall to their knees.
"Oh my" Orange said in a fake tone, "what happened, you must be injured somewhere. Let's get you all somewhere safe."
The guards looked at the rear admiral suspiciously, but had no real evidence to say otherwise. They all slowly walked away from Percy while glaring at him,
"This isn't over" one of them said as they rubbed their head
"St. Barlo will hear about this" another mentioned.
"Uh-huh" Percy said as he rolled his eyes/
He then readdressed the crowd.
"Sorry about that. My name is Admiral Kurosai I am here on behalf of the celestial dragons."
There was a gasp in the crowd as someone of them started to back away from Percy and most of the people there started to turned white in horror.
"Yes, it is as you guessed" Percy continued, "I was sent here to teach you all a lesson. His holiness St. Barlo has decided that your transgressions has warranted me slaughtering your entire island."
Another gasp came from the crowd, this time much louder. There was crying and shouting, people were starting to run away, Percy assumed to try and pack up before it was too late. He sighed and quickly activated his conqueror's haki to make everyone stay in place.
"But have no fear" Percy went on. "I don't plan on killing any of you. I want to flood the island, while at the same time keeping all of you alive."
Confusion was seen on everyone's faces as they did not understand what was going on. One minute the admiral said that he was going to kill them all, the next he was going to fake it. They were not sure what was happening anymore.
"I know it sounds confusing" Percy said "but believe me, this is the only way for your survival. My plan is to have all of you strap yourselves to as much wooden planks as possible or floating material available to you. When I flood this island, you will have the best chance to live at that time."
"Why can't we just leave now?" one of the elders asked as he walked in front of the crowd.
"The navy and the celestial dragons are watching" Percy answered. "We have to make it seem as real as possible. Plus, I have an ally that will help you stabilize after we leave here."
"How long is he going to take to get here?" another asked.
"He should be around in a day or so."
"Is there no other option?"
"Not that I can think of right now. I have to do it by nightfall to appease the nobles."
"How can we trust you?" someone finally asked the most important question.
"Cause I have nothing to gain from this and everything to lose." Percy answered. "Think about it, if I succeed, then I will probably never be able to visit here again as an admiral because you will all be considered dead. And if any of you tell another soul of what I did, I will be labeled a traitor by the world government and be hunted down by the very people I serve."
"Why do this then?" the elder asked.
"It's better to take a risk and save one person than be safe and watch a hundred people die" Percy said with determination in his eyes.
The people were silent before finally, a man strolled out and looked at Percy,
"I will trust my family to you."
Percy nodded in appreciation.
"Me too"
"I as well"
"Count me in"
Pretty soon, the whole crowd was agreeing to the plan and Percy was relieved. He had no time to formulate a better strategy on the fly.
"Okay, go and get ready. Make sure to tie everyone to anything that can float. I have to make the flooding look as real as possible so be prepared. You have an hour."
Everyone rushed off and Percy jumped into the air and headed back to the hotel. He got there 2 minutes later and saw St. Barlo with his family standing out in the courtyard looking at Ginbo without an arm.
Percy landed and Barlo looked at the admiral,
"you did this?" he asked.
"I did" Percy answered truthfully.
"Alright then" Barlo said as he pulled out his pistol and shot Ginbo in the head. "We don't need useless trash around us Kurosai, remember that."
Percy assumed that this was going to happen, Barlo was the type to only see people as useful or useless.
"Did you take care of it? Barlo asked as he was about to walk back into the hotel.
"I'm going to flood the island" Percy said as he walked beside the noble.
"Good" the noble nodded his head, "then why didn't you."
"Because I need to get you off here first your holiness" Percy said in a respectful tone.
"Fine, I've grown tired of this place anyways. Everyone said that this is the best place for fireworks, but I've yet to see one. Bunch of trash commoners."
Another two hours later and St. Barlo's ship was sailing away.
"Daddy, daddy!" Barlo's daughter said in her astronaut suit, "I want to see a flood, I never saw one before."
"HAHAHAHA, I can never say no to my precious little girl" Barlo said as he had the ship stop.
The family gathered around as they witnessed a 50ft. tsunami form off the coast and slam into the island. Water displaced everywhere as the sheer density of it started to repel everything away from the source.
"Wahhh!!" the girl shouted as she saw a wave slam into where she was just staying and destroy the building.
"So powerful" St. Barlo's son said next to his sister. He too saw the power of the tsunami.
"So he is good at something" the wife said as she saw another giant wave emerge from the depths and slam into the village. It proceeded to crush everything around it and the residents were flung around like ragdolls and pushed into the ocean.
"That's what you get" the wife said to no one in particular, "for talking back to the gods."
