The door behind him burst open and out came his mother, I quickly sobered up, hiding the signs of a panic attack.
"Hu Tao, you forgot to put on your uniform, my god, what have I done to get an idiot son like you."
She further went on a rant about how much of an idiot I am, too bad there hasn't been much change in her behavior.

I walked down the ruote as I followed the map I got from Mother, I know from the anime that most of this region isn't documented on maps, including Pokemon Tech, so it quite surprised me that she had a map solely leading to the school.
Not that I know how to read a map, so I'm going through this very slowly, its too bad I didn't get any memories from the previous owner of this body, or else I wouldn't force myself to go to this school.
As I walked down the ruote, I noticed there hasn't been any Pokemon, like, none at all, not even a wiff of one, I was travelling through a random forest in the middle of nowhere, I know Pokemon Tech was somewhere past Curelien, but I don't know where I live at all and how far I have to walk.
The mist started to lift as the school building sat in front of me, as students in blue uniforms and bow ties walked into the school, no signs of transportation of any kind, not even a bike or skateboard a student could ride.
I saw a security guard on the side of the gate and walked towards him, I waved to gain his attention, "Sir, do you know where the library is?"
He looked at me with little annoyance before it quickly disappeared into a neutral face, "When you go into the simulation room, go to your right through the door and then down the hall, tell the receptionist you're there for the library, she'll point you where is it."
I nod as I thanked him and walked off.

I scemmed through the rows of books as I quickly read the titles and skipped past them.
From, "What are Gyms?" to "How to compete in the Indigo League," I wasn't nesselarly looking for those, but they could be useful, so I put them in the pile books I collected I think I would need.
I was looking for a book that spoke about the common sense of this world, like, how would people treat Pokemon, How many badges on average does a trainer earn on their journey, how many Pokemon does a normal trainer have, how many types are there, what are the laws, are pokecenters free for trainers, how much are for pokeballs and medicine, what do you feed pokemon, how do you earn money as a trainer, so on and so on.
I found a reasonable amount of book on the topics I needed, but everything, like the really basic things, such as the currency, I asked the librarian and she said something about why would there be, its the same everywhere, I doubt it, but there isn't really anything I can do.
I went to sit down at the most obscure part of the library, sat down and started reading.

I walked up the path that led towards Professor Oak's lab as I saw a crowd of people bustling around boy with short brown spiky hair with a blue shirt and a necklace.
I knew who it was, Gary Oak, the grandson of Samual Oak, the Professor. Apart from them, I heard screaming coming from the distance and I instantly knew who it was, so I decided to start running, not wanting to be stuck with the Pikachu that is constantly harmful to my being.
I ran past Gary and cheerleaders, up the steps, the last thing I heard before closing the door was, "Hey, Watch were your going!"
I dumbed into a large old man, wearing a labcoat with a red undershirt, he had a quite a sharp face.
"I'm sorry about that Professor Oak, I'm here for my Pokemon."
I apologized as I slightly smiled, he looked confused for a moment before it dawn on him, "So your one of the four here today to start your journey."
I nodded, "Yes, my mother couldn't afford to go to Pokemon Tech anymore, so I have to start traveling around the region to become a trainer."
He slightly frowned as he said, "No need to feel disappointed, its known that students from Pokemon Tech doesn't really become Pokemon trainers, more breeders than anything, so students wishing to take on the gym challenge doesn't grow as fast, as training isn't their main focus as advertised."
I nod once again as we walk towards the podium, I get the feeling that he was saying that to himself, but I won't say anything, one must not be dense to the person giving you something equal to an assault riffle.
The glass casing slid open revealing three Pokeballs all three marked with the symbols of fire, water and grass. The Pokeballs with the symbols of Water and Grass were open, leaving the Fire symbol closed.
"As you can see, there is only one left, but don't fear, the last doesn't always mean the worst," Proffessor Oak as he handed me 6 Pokeballs and a Pokedex, he then continued and said, "These are your Pokeballs and Pokedex, use one of the Pokeballs to catch your starter, as well as the Pokedex is an enslcopedia on all Pokemon as well as an ID, it is irreplaceable."
I picked one of the Balls and enlarged it, I then opened the Pokeball on the Podium as white light released from it and took shape into a Charmander, blue eyes, bright orange scales with a pale yellow underbelly with its tail lit on fire.
"Char-Char!" It greeted me as it waved its tiny paws towards me as I sent a small wave back, I presented the Pokeball and it hit the button the middle, immediately catching itself.
