I walked along with Charmander on the way to Viridian City around an hour after running away from Oddish.
Charmander was kind of bummed from running away, but after some time of walking he calmed down back into his silent mood.
I've been thinking about how to beet brock, or flint when I get to pewter, I mean, I could skip Pewter and Cerulean City and go straight for Surge, as Surge is the only Gym my future Fairy Team with Charmander could handle.
The first and eighth gyms are Rock and Ground-type, the 7th gym is Fire-type, 6 is Poison, and 5 is grass types, and all grass types in Kanto are part poison type, for Sabrina, I wouldn't touch with a ten-foot pole until after Ash gets her badge, the second gym would be impossible to do until I either get a Jigglypuff and Clefairy trained enough or go before Misty shows up and collect a free badge.
'But wouldn't that leave me behind in training, Charmander could use the training against water type, maybe-
I was interrupted from my thought as Charmander was pounding into my legs with his little fist, as tears are almost coming from his eyes.
"CHAR!!!!" He pointed towards the sky as the clouds are getting darker and darker with bits of water falling occasionally.
I shook my head as I thought, 'Yeah, definitely need the training to withstand water,'
I took out his Pokeball and returned him and placed it back into my sleeve.
I continue to walk as the rain began to pour heavily as my clothes began to stick to my body and my hair started to feel incredibly heavy.
I went through the rectangular cuboid of my backpack and took out my umbrella and opened it and continue to walk.

I witness the giant pillar of lightning, I knew who that was, but now I wonder what happened to the flock of Spearow.
The storm clouds clear from the sky with a rainbow developing close to the rest of the clouds.
I took my Pokedex and turned on the camera function and aimed towards the sky, I stood there for about 5 minutes before giving up taking that picture of Ho-Oh, as nothing passed by.
I released Charmander from its Pokeball and we continue to walk to Viridian City.

Along with Charmander, we passed the empty police station, it was tiny, the police station looked like it could only hold one person, and the wooden post was empty, except for a tiny piece of paper on a nail.
I then continue to walk towards the Pokecenter, as I walked through the city, I saw several stores of different types.
There was a berry shop, they said something about nothing can't really grow on Kanto soils, so they import from the different islands around Kanto, such as the Orange Islands, they even had Pinkan Berries but no berries that are made for Pokeblock or Puffions though.
The next store we saw was a medicine shop, it mainly sells potions, antidotes, and repels, as those are the best for the economy for Viridian Forest is the next area.
The store was a bike shop, I wished I could buy one but it was way too expensive, a million poke dollars for one bike, maybe I could get a scooter instead, but I don't know where to buy one.

I opened the door to the Pokemon Center as smoke immediately flowed into my face, as I took notice of the darkroom.
I took note of sounds of shouting coming from the back before a stretcher seem to run into the waiting room as the light turned back on and the smoke cleared.
A boy with dust all over him, blue pants a darker blue jacket, and a red hat ran into the waiting room with a stretcher with an injured Pikachu on it.
A Koffeeing and Ekans were chasing after him before he tripped and fell over a burned and destroyed bicycle, two other people followed after them who were wearing full white with R logos on their chest.
Seeing this entire scene play out, I took the liberty of leaving the Center before an explosion the size of an entire football stadium engulfs this entire building.
