Newly Discovered Pokemon

It was the next morning as I said in the Pokemon Center for the night, some of the Trainers won't here, I received Charmander from his checkup and asked where the trainers have gone, Nurse Joy said that most of them went to watch other battles the Pewter Gym, it seems that most people were having a hard time with it

I went towards the Video Phone, I dialed Professor Oak's number on the Pokemon Center Video Phone, it rang for about 5 minutes before he picked it up.

"Good Morning Professor Oak," I greeted as Charmander in my lap waved to him.

He smiled, "It has been a while since we spoke, are you perhaps taking the Gym challenge?"

I blinked at the question and was gonna say no, but then I registered for it last night, "I am, I just registered for it today,"

He looked surprised at this fact before saying, "Today? what happened, currently Ash and Gary are on their way to Vermilion for their third Badge, as well as Cillian just getting the second badge."

I blinked, I had no idea why he was telling me this, but I could guess it to give me some motivation to catch up so I don't end up rushing during the last months coming to the Pokemon league, I respect it, wouldn't want the person you gave a valuable pokemon to fail, as I was attending Pokemon Tech for the Pokemon Trainer Class, the class about collecting badges, so by that standard, it means that I would go on a Journey to collect Badges for the Indigo league, it is normal that Professor Oak guessed that I'm taking part.

"I sort of got lost for two months in Viridian Forest, I was chased by a flock of Fearow and Spearow and ended up running too deep in it without looking where I was going."

He looked surprised at that, as he then continue to say, "We have to deal with that flock sooner or later, too many trainers have been attacked by them already, thirty of them have already been injured."

I nodded as he then changed the subject, "Yeah you really should, they were fighting with the local Pidgey and Pidgeotto, by the way, Professor, did you get any news about Gyarados and Primeape?"

He sighed a bit before smiling, "About your Gyarados and Primeape, I found one of my colleagues in another region that is willing to trade for them with two eggs, they are this research on Kanto based evolutions, but I don't know if you have any interest in these type of Pokemon,"

I started to think after hearing that, a colleague in another region that is interested in Kanto-based evolutions, the only regions I could think of that fits that is Alola or Galar since they are two of the three regions that have the most fairy types.

"Professor, could I see a picture of them, to see if I like them."

I personally hoped it was an Alolan Vulpix or Galarian Ponyta, if it was the evolved forms, I wouldn't take them, my plan of maximizing their first stage would be ruined by doing that, maybe a Hatenana, you can't use Pokemon outside of Kanto and Johto for the indigo league, regional forms included, but that rule doesn't apply for gyms, so maybe I'll have 3 or 4 Pokemon going into the league if I have enough to go into Johto and pick up Azuril or Maril, no way I'm getting a Snubull, the things creeps me out through a screen much less in real life.

Professor Oak answered after turning his head away from the screen for a couple of seconds, "Yes, but it wouldn't be on your Pokedex, or any Pokedex for that matter, as information based on these Pokemon are still being researched, the best I can give you is a picture with the description saying, 'no further information available.'"

I nod at that placed my Pokedex in the slot, "That's alright, I okay with just seeing it."

He must be thinking of this as an opportunity to get a trainer to train these Pokemon and provide some information about them through occasional contact, using the trainers you sponsor for their journey and traveling to study Pokemon, about the time he does this, I was wonder why he even sponsors new Pokemon Trainers in the first place.

"Alright Hu Tao, I updated your Pokedex to contain all the information we have on these Pokemon, the evolutions are not included as they are not discovered yet."

I took out the Pokedex and searched for the new entries and started playing it.

All that is known about this Pokemon is that is it very hard to gain its trust.}

I looked at the picture of Hatenna, and I have to say, they couldn't have picked a worse angle, it was like they sneaked into their home and took a picture with a drone and stole an egg, I shook my head and played the second one.

{Ponyta Galarian form, Psychic-type, Proper measurements of this Pokemon has not been recorded.

Its small horn hides a healing power. With a few rubs from this Pokémon's horn, any slight wound you have will be healed.}

Measurement not recorded, must mean that most of them ran away from human contact, sort of tells what kind of people they are since it is said that they run away from evil people from the Sword ad Shield Pokedex.

I smiled as they are exactly what I wanted, but Professor Oak did say that they are eggs at the moment, so I may be wouldn't be able to use them during Kanto at all and have to settle with starting to train them during another region.

I turn my attention back to Professor Oak, "I would be happy with them Professor Oak, I'll be ready for the trade at any point."

He smiled and nodded, "Alright, I'll get it sorted, will you carry the eggs with you or leave them at the lab?"

I already had my answer to this question, "I'll keep them with me,"

I wouldn't want a situation with Misty's Togepi happening to me, first Ash steals the egg from another trainer from another region that has fallen asleep from Jigglypuff's song, then he gives brock the egg so if the trainers turn up looking for the egg, he can just say he didn't know brock had it, and when it is about to hatch, team rocket, Misty and Brock turn up trying to get the egg and just as it hatching Misty pushing Ash out of the so Togepi only sees her and imprints on her, and after the deathmatch tournament for Togepi, it chooses Misty either way.

And this Ash gets away with the perfect crime, as no one has any proof that he took the egg, with Togepi being solely cared for by Misty.

He nodded before hanging up on the Video Phone.
