Route 3 and Misty Land

As I entered route 3, I saw lots of Pokemon trainers around the age of ten, either training their Pokemon against the wild Pokemon or Battling other Trainers.

One or two of them were directly leaving the route with happy moods, they seemed to have gotten the Badge from the gym, but that was only my assumption, it could be wrong.

I could take the time and battle the trainers on this route, but I have a more important thing to do, and that is to catch myself an Igglybuff or Jigglypuff, not a Wigglytuff though, that's too late in the evolution line for me.

Although I have extremely harsh conditions for finding a Clefairy, I have almost none for Jigglypuff, if Jigglypuff turns out to have Misty Terrian or Gravity as an egg move, I wouldn't complain.

"Hey!" I heard a voice behind so I turned around and saw a boy who looked older than me, but that generally wasn't hard since I looked around 7 years old at the moment, but most people don't misunderstand me for seven since I keep my Pokemon on my waist until I look old enough to ten so I can put them in my sleeve, the only one in my sleeve at the moment is Charmander for on hand use.

"Are you interested in a battle? by the way, my name is John" he asked while pointing his own Pokeball towards me.

"Sure, let's do it," I answered as I stepped back to give some space for the potential battlefield.

"So then, 1v1? 100 Poke bet?"

He asked, "Yeah, 1v1, recalling is a forfeit, in case of a draw, no one gets anything."

I replied as we both sent out our Pokemon, he threw the Pokeball into the air, and I released Charmander from my hand, "Go Nidoran!"

Charmander and Nidoran)male) land unto the ground as they stare off at each other.

"Charmander, don't let it touch you! use ember,"

I wouldn't know if it has the Poison Point ability, better to play the range game, and metal claw

Charmander nodded as he jumped back a bit and whipped its tail releasing a few flames towards Nidoran as John ordered it dodge.

Nidoran to the side as ember past him one after another, John called for a double kick.

Charmander dodged by sliding to the side as Nidoran passed him and brought down metal claw unto Nidoran's back as it bounced away from the impact while kicking up a dust cloud.

'Why does every Pokemon battle brings up a giant dust cloud from nowhere,'

Charmander fired a few more embers, this time they hit and Nidoran ended up getting burned.

Nidoran opened its mouth and fired multiple poison sting darts at Charmander, as the attack was launched, Charmander used a metal claw and bat away the poison stings.

As Nidoran kept firing and Charmander kept slicing them from the air with metal claws, Nidoran continue to walk closer and closer, from this close range, the darts were moving too fast as they hit in a line along Charmander's arm and thus making him flinch.

Using this, Nidoran double kicked Charmander sending him tumbling away, As Charmander recovered, Nidoran charged towards Charmander thrusting its horn forward Charmander as he dodged and dodged again.

Nidoran using Horn Attack again, I called for Charmander to use Iron Tail, as Charmander was charging it, Nidoran ran close up but flinched from the burn it got allowing Charmander to completely charge Iron Tail, he then spun, and then they both clashed, kicking up a dust cloud Nidoran was flung away and ended up fainting.

Charmander was heavily breathing in place, I recalled him as John did the same with Nidoran.

We shook hands as he congratulated me, he paid me the prize money of 100 Pokedollars, after some annoying small talk, he ended up running to the Pokemon Center to get Nidoran healed.

=---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------=

I healed Charmander with a potion and antidote, as he ended up getting Poisoned from the last horn attack, it seems like Iron Tail is still not completely mastered if a Poison Point was able to activate through Iron Tail, Iron Tail must be pretty shallow still.

We walked deeper into the mountain area of the route, as according to the Normal Type index from Pokemon Tech, Jigglypuff and its evolution appear deeper in the mountains, but it is still very rare to find one, any stragglers found alone are said to be outcast from their family because they lack the ability to sing or outshine all the other members in singing, disrupting the group harmony singing, so they end up heartbroken looking for someone to acknowledge their singing abilities, singing into the open as for all those who can, usually this causes a lot of problem for the local Pokemon dying from predators or the Jigglypuff in question dying from a Pokemon with the ability of insomnia or vital spirit to shut it up.

I know Jigglypuff is in the Normal Type book because the Fairy Type has been found out yet, most of the fairy types are named normal or psychic based on a variety of things, such as how they look or the fairy type being a secondary typing for 90% of the fairy types, so detecting it will be hard, the only primary Fairy type is Togetic and Togepi while Togepi has secondary flying. Pure fairy types are quite common as well, most of them are so rare or not found discovered yet, that they might as well be legendary Pokemon in terms of rarity.

I was searching for one of the Jigglypuff lines for the past 12 hours, It was night current and I had Charmander give some light with its tail, I could do it with my own flames, but my flames do damage to, well its doesn't damage the skin in any way, but I still feel the pain as if I was actually on fire.

As we walk through the mountainous night, we did encounter some Ekan, Nidoran, and Rattata, but Charmander made quick work of them.

As we continued to walk, we came across a Rattata that was dead asleep in the most awkward position I could think of, I looked around for a bit before seeing all the Pokemon around was also dead asleep.

The only thing I could think could have caused this is a Jigglypuff line or a Clefairy that got lost from mount moon, finding a Clefairy in Mount Moon is already impossible enough, so one outside of it is even more impossible, so it has to be one of the Jigglypuff lines.

So we continue to walk towards the number of sleeping Pokemon becomes greater and greater, I even saw some people asleep on the ground.

And then as I was walking, I happen upon a person with a Pokeball in her hand, in a position of throwing it, but she seemed to have paused mid-action, she must be sleeping standing up, and then I saw a sleep pink ball with three smaller balls on its head, from the visual, I knew it was Igglybuff, the air around it was filled with Pink, it came off Igglybuff continuously, weirdly enough, I could feel myself getting an energy boost from it, along with the pain of my fire diminishing, I smiled as I knew that it knew Misty Terrian.

And while everyone here was sleeping, the Igglybuff included, must be from exhaustion, this is the time where those who were put to sleep earlier would wake up and attack it while it is sleeping.

I grabbed an empty Pokeball and caught it without any problem since it was exhausted, probably from singing all day, and sleeping, so no attempts at resistance were made, and then I returned to the Pokemon Center at Pewter City, sending Charmander and Igglybuff to Nurse Joy while I take a good night sleep.
