21. Understand

"Rosalie… Is it true that I'm no longer attractive to you?"

Rosalie sighed tiredly. These two humans would continue to fight in front of him if he defended one of them. And again, Edward sure knew how to get Tara out of her way by talking too much.

"You are attractive in your husband's eyes, Litara."

Hearing Rosalie's words just now, Tara then fell silent. He turned his body and remained silent with a gaze that then looked out the car window. Tara didn't like it when someone talked about her jerk husband. Oh, did God purposely make him hate that stupid man? Seriously.

"Litara... Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you like this," said Rosalie, who then tried to persuade Tara to forgive herself.

Tara was still silent with her thoughts. I don't know... What happened to him this time. Doesn't she have feelings for that bastard? But why when she heard someone mention her husband she felt something strange. It's like the anger in his heart just flared up for no good reason. Oh... Don't tell me she's starting to like that asshole. That can't happen.

"Just forget it." Tara waved a hand over her face and sat back quietly staring ahead. Trying to forget what just happened with all his thoughts.

While Rosalie exhaled slowly as she promised herself that she would not make the same mistake like this. He was acting so stupid for not thinking about Tara's feelings before. Gosh... He's clumsy. How could his mouth be so smooth when he said that to Tara? Truly!

"If you feel pressured by your marriage, Litara. It would be better if you let go and let go of the man than you were never considered before the love was truly present in your heart. If that happens, you will find it increasingly difficult to let it go. You understand, don't you?"

Tara glanced at the man who was none other than Rosalie's driver and cousin. He did know everything without asking because Tara and Rosalie were used to telling stories in the car, whether or not this young man was around. Oh, but regarding Tara being depressed, that's not true because Tara has other ambitions why maintain a marriage that is still a corn kernel. Yes... He would use all means to make Aldrick fall into his trap and after that, he could leave in peace. Wicked? Not for this established relationship. After all, take this as revenge for Aldrick for toying with him.

"You don't mean to change your words with an apology, Ed?" Rosalie asked telling her cousin because she had just made a mistake and it was added to the stupid man's mistake. Ah, the world is starting to joke.

"Not really. That's the truth, Rosalie. Litara must get out of the Mansion and Aldrick's life or she will be hurt more in the future."

"That's not going to happen, Edward." Tara interrupted because she was sure she could handle Aldrick's problem. Regarding feelings, he is still an amateur but there is no harm in trying because he also wants to prove to his two favorite humans that their choice is not wrong, but not right. Who else is it? Yes… That's his parents.

Edward smiled crookedly at Tara's words, who was very sure about his decision. As a man, he doesn't underestimate the power of a woman, it's just that when he sees Tara, he feels more sorry. The girl looks fine in public but is so strange behind the scenes. Edward also knew that Tara's husband not only didn't love Tara but also hurt her by deliberately bringing other women back and forth to their Mansion. Oh, my God... A man like Aldrick is a total jerk and shouldn't be side by side with the very nice and beautiful Tara. Oh, what? Beautiful? Okay... Edward knew she was beautiful, it's just that Edward was used to seeing Tara so that he no longer saw beauty in friendship. Oh, how hypocritical but that's the truth.

There was no more talking after hearing that Tara had made up her mind. Rosalie was trying to be busy with her cellphone and Edward was focused on driving. Tara? The girl remained calm with her gaze directed ahead. His mind drifted towards some plans in case his heart started to fall for Aldrick someday. Unbelievable indeed, but for some reason, it seemed that she was starting to like that jerk. Ah, the wrong feeling but also unstoppable. Please tell Tara to stop all this.

The ringing of the phone caught Tara's attention. The phone in his hand beeped with the name on the screen. Can Aldrick sense what he's thinking that the man immediately called? Gosh... Seems like Tara's mind will only be full of Aldrick right now.

"You didn't pick up the phone?"

Tara turned to Rosalie with her hand moving to the green button and pointing it to her ear. Rosalie just smiled faintly and returned her focus to her cell phone. Ignoring Tara who is now starting to talk to her husband.

"Go back to the Mansion."

"I still have a trip scheduled for a photoshoot."

"Do I accept a rebuttal?"

"You must understand all my activities."

There was a heavy sigh, but Tara was speaking the truth. Where he still has a trip for a photoshoot and Aldrick must understand Tara's activities in the future. He does not want to be limited when he likes a career since childhood. Aldrick was the only person who would stand in the way if Tara complied with his request. Ah, that doesn't mean she disobeys her husband, it's just that she is a girl who is bound by a contract with the company. So, Aldrick had to understand whatever the reason was even though the man could give him any amount of money. No… Tara doesn't like the kind of money that just asks other people, even Aldrick.

"Your family is here. But it's up to you if you don't want to go home. I'll let them come back or stay here."

Call just cut off. It made Tara frown with laziness in her eyes. Tara then turned to Rosalie. "Is there something my family is planning, Rosalie?"

Rosalie remembered a little. "I don't think there's any event. Why?"

"That's weird. They suddenly came to the mansion without even telling me."

Tara put her phone back in the small bag. He shrugged his shoulders as a sign that he didn't care and returned his gaze to the outside of the window while enjoying the view. I don't know... He just felt weird about a notification like that. Just let Aldrick take care of them until he finished his work.

After just a few minutes of staring out the window, the ringing of the cell phone interrupted Tara's journey again. The girl snorted in annoyance and took out her cell phone. "Mom... What's wrong? You came while I was working. If you wanted to come you should have called and I could have taken the day off."
