"Touch my mate, and blood will surely flow." Franni's wolf growled loudly with an evil expression that shocked everybody to the bone.

"Fra, are you crazy? Don't you see that we are naked? Franni utters inside fra.

"Do I look like I care?" she replied nonchalantly

"You know, it wouldn't be a good idea for our mate to see us naked before mating or marking us" Franni replied, and she could sense that fra is thinking about what she just said.

"Okay, I will consider the fact that I don't want my mates to see us as promiscuous beings."

"The problem now is where can we get clothes to wear?" Franni asked.

"Here, take this and get dressed up." Ariel cut through their thoughts and offered them one of the clothes that she had pulled from a dead soldier.

"Tha..." Franni was about to appreciate Ariel through her voice, but she didn't get to finish before Fra snatched the clothes and sped away.

"I guess everyone has forgotten about their visionary." Jake elucidated behind them, in his right hand was Alpha Kyle's head, which was dripping blood. "This son of a bitch gives me a tough time, but it is a good thing that I finally show him the wrath of a Hyperion."

"What should we do with him?" Jack asked, referring to Alpha Thane. "If not because I don't want to fight again, especially with a moonlight witch, I would have allowed the Ent to trample on him."

"I don't like him either, but since he is my mate, I have no choice but to stay with him. And I don't want any trouble with junk again." Franni chirped into their conversation. She was now dressed in a long skirt and shirt.

In a mocking tone, "That dress looks terrible on your body, mate," Alpha Thane mumbled, but Ariel whacked him hard on the face, which made him spit out blood.

"Idiot, touch my mate again and I will make you feel the same pain he is going through." Franni's wolf warns in a harsh tone. She growls out loudly and threatens to come out again, but Franni is quick to calm her while the rest of the group moves back in fear.

Even though Franni herself tried to resist the urge, the mate bond is so hard to resist, while her wolf makes it harder for her to reject him. She moved toward Alpha Thane involuntarily when a hard vision struck her. She could see her father dying and his brother on the sickbed, struggling to heal.

She let out a loud, painful growl and tears fell freely from her eyes. Now she started to blame herself for abandoning them, her eyes turning red as tears continued to flow from her eyes.

"I swear, I will kill you all as soon as I retrieve the sword." Franni channels all her anger in her voice and screams out. If it was under normal circumstances, she would have turned back and gone home.

But now, she had no other choice than to move forward and acquire the sword. She could also sense her wolf's grief because she went silent, and Franni knew what that meant. Junk had silenced her humanity. She couldn't feel the vanilla scent she was perceiving from her mate again.

She closed her eyes and felt the connection that bound her together with her brother, and she was happy when she discovered that it was still there, even though it was so faint.

"I wonder why Seeker Argon couldn't help them," Franni tells her wolf.

"You know, that stupid old man can be unpredictable sometimes, and I will shred him to pieces as soon as we get home," Fra replied in a melancholy tone, and Franni couldn't help but admire her wolf.

"If it is the sword you want, then I guess we can help you," Ariel replied whilst moving toward her.

"Who are you guys and why should I trust you?" Franni demanded in an angry voice.

"Chill girlfriend, we aren't here to harm you guys," Jake utters in a filthy tone.

"Maybe you should start by introducing yourself," she answered. Both Jack and Jake look at each other before gesturing towards Ariel.

"You know, talking to her as a girl to girl might be better," both Jack and Jake chorus at the same time, leaving Ariel no choice but to do as they say.

"Well, let's start from the beginning. My name is Ariel, and standing beside you over there are Jack and Jake." Ariel explained while pointing at the duo." Jack is a blue-eyed warrior, the last of his kind, and Jake is a Hyperion." Ariel paused and let her words sink in before she continued.

"We are all wanderers and have no place to call home. We leave and survive on whatever we find."

"You mean, you are all homeless?" Franni asked.

Even though it provoked Ariel, she still managed to keep it cool.

"I didn't mean it that way," she snapped at Franni. "We used to have a place; in fact, Greenville is the name; and it used to be the best town ever until a guy named Virgo and Daniel attacked us and ruined everything."

Ariel paused while sniffing back her tears. "The 3 of us are lucky to escape because Jack's father already saw it coming, so he used his last strength to teleport us out of the magical shield that camps the rest, making it impossible for them to escape."

"I am so sorry about that," Franni apologizes.

"Don't worry, it's nothing". Ariel elucidated before continuing her speech. "Since then, we have always wandered around the whole world just for fun and to seek many hidden treasures.

We're on our way as usual when we come across a deadly battle between some hybrids, witches, and titans, and we notice that the titans are gaining dominance over the hybrid, and we notice that the same guy who led the attack against our town is also leading the titans, so we attacked and helped the hybrid.

It was a deadly war that claimed many lives, but we still managed to defeat them and seal the so-called Daniel while Vergo narrowly escaped".

"Wait a minute, so you are the so-called 3 ancient warriors that Seer Argon is talking about? Franni asked, with surprise written on her face. "Seer Argon already told me that I will meet with you guys when the time comes and you will help me on my journey."

"Which journey are you talking about? Jake asked.

"Well, my mom is amidst the hybrid then. She is a moonlight witch that defeats Daniel; unfortunately, it cost her life, which made my dad ruthless,"

Franni uttered with a sad countenance. "Vergo, or whatever you called his name, escaped, managed to gather other titans and create a dark seat for them. They needed my blood to awake Daniel. That is why Seer Argon sent me here to retrieve the ancient sword so we could finish the battle once and for all. "

"Oh! I remember it clearly. "The young woman that fought valiantly during the battle," Jack elucidated,

"we are also on our way to the same place to retrieve the sword and sell it, just like we always do to the precious treasure," Ariel replied.

"However, Seer Argon stated that it can only be held by the chosen one and not by ordinary beings." Franni bellowed. "I guess we are destined to meet again, and I will enjoy ripping that bastard apart with my claw," Franni uttered with a hard, stoic tone.

"He will pay for killing my parents and sending my brother into a coma."

"You have our full support," Jake chirped in, but Ariel glanced toward his direction with a deadly look, which made him gulp down nothing in particular and shut up.

"When will you guys become friends, for goodness sake?" Jack asked.

"Until I showed him that a girl is older and far stronger than a boy," Ariel replied.

"Liar," Jake argued.

"Shall we duel again?" Ariel asked.

"Permission to strike her face?" Jake asked Jack, but the latter quickly looked away from his direction.

"I will beat you next after I deal with her," Jake mutters. He folds his fist, getting ready to strike Ariel, but Franni clears her throat, which makes them stop.

"This is not the time to fight again, guys," she bellowed. "I and junk always do the same, but it leads us into nothing but more trouble. So, let's map out a plan instead and face our journey because time is against us".

"I supported the motion," Jake chirps in again, but another deadly glance from Ariel makes him keep quiet while Franni and Jack burst into laughter.

"Such a lazy ass guy," Alpha Thane joined the conversation, even though he was still tied with a silver rope.

"And who invited you?" Ariel asked while moving closer to Alpha Thane and started punching him heavily.

"Idiot, don't you see that she is hurting our mate?" Fra utters in Franni's head.

"Here we go again," Franni replied while rolling her eyes. "I thought you had shut him out."

"Don't forget that you are still owing me a debt."

"Did you mean the silly promise I made in the woods?" Franni asked.

"Interfere now or you might walk naked again." Franni rolls her eyes mentally again before moving to stop Ariel from hurting Alpha Thane again.

"He is my mate, and junk might go crazy for hurting him," Franni utters, placing her hand on Ariel's shoulder to stop her. "Let's hear his side of the story.

Ariel steps back while staring at Thane with angry eyes. "You better have a good excuse or I might end up chopping your head off." she answered sarcastically."

"Trust me, love, I am not the real villain here," Thane retorted. "I was manipulated and forced to join his evil league," he clarified while sniffing his tears.

Even though Franni looked broken and it was obvious that it was the mate bond that made her weak, despite how hard she was still trying to be bold, she still looked fragile.

"I was a young and powerful Alpha that hated and didn't tolerate shit." Alpha Thane continues.

"Then how did you end up being his puppet?" Ariel implored.

"This is how it happened," Alpha Thane began. "I was a great ruler, loved by everyone in my pack because of my righteousness and my hard work to make the pack great."

He paused while looking into their eyes before he continued, "Everything changed when Thanatos asked me to ally with him, but the evil aura I was perceiving from him made me turn down his offer." He later came back a week later, but this time he offered me a large amount of gold together with eternal life, but I rejected his offer again because I couldn't put my life and that of my pack at risk. He became infuriated and left angrily.

I was happy that I finally turned him down, not knowing that he had another plan mapped out for me. Later on, I started hearing rumours that he was bribing my trusted beta and spreading a fake rumour that he asked me to give him a piece of land so he could build a supernatural school, and in return, he was going to give me a large amount of gold that would change the pack's life forever. My people were quick to believe his lie, especially when he promised them eternal life and a large treasure that they had never seen before.

I was left with no choice but to accept his proposal and form an alliance with him, especially when my beta started threatening to dethrone me and when I started receiving different insults and death threats.

Before they realize the truth, it is too late because his army of darkness and spies has already gotten mixed up with us, which makes it impossible for us to defeat him. Especially when the second stone is now the ruler of the pack, I was just a puppet that was forced to act accordingly to order."

Franni looked at Alpha Thane in pity, and he could feel the kind of pain that the young man had gone through.

"I can see through his soul; he is not lying," Ariel supported.

"Give me another chance to make amends for my mistake and I promise you will never regret it." Alpha Thane begged. "Besides, you will need an experienced man to help you in Mordor, and I can help because I know how things normally work there."

"Welcome to the team," Jake elucidated.

"Try betraying us and I wouldn't hesitate to kill you," Ariel mutters while cutting the rope that binds Thane's hand.

"Welcome back, mate," fra growls out loud in Franni's body while the rest look toward the surfacing wolf in shock.
