Then, as you're climbing into your suit once more, the train suddenly jolts forward, accelerating at a ridiculous pace. You quickly seal yourself inside your suit to prevent yourself from pitching out, and your suit's feet produce clamps to hold you in place.

"Whoa…" Morgan says in shock. "What was that all about?" she asks.

You shake your head, not wanting to make guesses about what just happened. Morgan takes a deep breath. "Well, doesn't matter what just happened. We still have to check it out, 'cause if this train keeps up this speed, we're going to have a huge crash at the end of line," she says darkly. "One of us will have to go and check out the controls, and the other one will have to stay behind and watch over the artifact."

You glance at Morgan curiously and ask her why one of you should stay behind to watch over the artifact. "Can you think of a reason why the Fiends attacked us?" she starts to say. "Maybe it's because of the artifact. Think about it. They attacked the pirates in the cove because they were excavating the artifact, and now that we're transporting it, they attack us. It can't be a coincidence that they're attacking us now that we have the artifact. They're drawn to it somehow," she says, turning towards it.
