"What the-?" Kurapika retreated to the door while watching Silver do his 'magic'.

"This is Nen. Everyone has the ability to learn it, but not everyone is actually capable of learning it. And everyone in the Phantom Troupe, one way or the other is a master of it." Silver added as the stick change its form to a bat, a spear and a trident.

"How'd you learn it?" Asked Kurapika while approaching the now spherical cast. He extended his hand to touch it and confirm if he is seeing things. 'It is real!'

"I learned it accidentally more than 2 years ago. And after practicing it in a short time, I can honestly say I can beat everyone in this boat like stepping on some bugs, even if all those who left comes back to help."

Silver paused as he let the sphere vanish. "Now imagine each and everyone of the Troupe had theirs for who knows how long, then you can judge how strong each one of them."

Kurapika closed his eyes and took in the new information he has been fed. If Silver is telling the truth, then he can't beat any member just by being a Hunter. He needs to learn Nen as well. After a few moment of contemplation, he opened his eyes with renewed determination. "How do I learn this 'Nen'? Can you teach me?"

"No, I can't help you with that." Silver shook his head for the nth time in this short conversation. "And before you say anything else let me finish first."

Seeing Kurapika calm down and nod he continued. "I can't teach you because I am still learning myself. Nen is dangerous and training willy nilly can kill you before you could even count to 20. But do not be discouraged. I heard from Big Sis that once you became an official hunter, the door to Nen will open for you. After all, you are not truly a hunter until you learn Nen. So make sure you become a hunter and the world of Nen will be at the palm of your hands. And if you do fail, come back to me. I'll introduce you to a dojo to increase your chance of learning it." Silver smiled. He can't help but remember the fun experience he had with Master Roshi and Charanko.

"I'll hold you to that. Guess there is more reason for me to pass this exam more than ever." He then furrowed his brow and looked at Silver doubtly. "You said you are the only survivor, then who is this 'Big Sis' of yours?"

"Ohh that... Silver Kurta officially 'died' a year ago. I now go as Silver Croft after big sis Lara Croft adopted me into their family." Silver can't help but smile again.

"You! How could you abandon your clan! We are the only two left!" Kurapika can't help but shout in disappointment. His feelings has been in roller coaster ever since he entered this cabin.

"What good is it to be a kurta if we can't even show our real eyes!" Silver spat back. "You can't fool me, you have been hiding yours behind your lenses as well. We have been forced to the brink of extinction and we can't even let our eyes peek out for some little light. We are living in constant fear that the Troupe will get a hold of it and finish us off for real."

"You!" Kurapika could only point at Silver.

"I what? You have chosen to hide in the shadow to bid your time. And I don't fault you for that. Why I choose to embrace the light that has been offered to me. And there is nothing you can do about it. And don't be too low to bring my parents into it!"

"You! You!" Without anything else to say Kurapika stormed out of the Cabin.

Silver watched the receeding back of Kurapika and shook his head again. "*Sigh* This was supposed to be a happy reunion."

Gon and Leorio who is playing rock-paper-scissor outside the earful range of the cabin saw Kurapika stormed out and went outside to the deck. Gon wanted to follow but was stopped by Leorio.

"But- Kurapika." Gon said worriedly.

"Like you said, whatever they are talking in their, it's not for our ears." Leorio said while looking at the door to the deck. "Come on, I yet to beat you on this damn game."

Two day's later they landed on Dolle's port.

"Wow! There are so many people in here!" Gon said while looking the sea of people from left to right.

"If I'm correct, they are all here for the same reason we are." Said Kurapika. Kurapika is again back to his old self. He apologized to Silver and accepted the latter's decision to be a identified as a Croft. He doesn't like it himself but he can't fault the latter either.

"Yup, they are all warriors. There is something on how they carry themselves that separate them from normal people like Leorio." Added Silver.

"Well excuse me for being 'Normal' mister smarty pants! There are no requirements that someone needs to be a warrior to take on the exam!" Leorio answered in a bit of anger again.

"Just messing with you. You really are easy to rile up. Hahahahaha." Silver laughed while Gon and Kurapika can't help but chuckle a little.

"Why you-" Leorio clenched his fist in anger.

"Before the rest of you get too far, I suggest you go to that big tree over there." The captain pointed to the huge tree at the top of the mountain. "It's a shortcut to Zaban, the exam site."

"Aye! Aye! O Captain! My Captain!" Silver answered with vigor while saluting. Kurapika and Leorio looked at Silver and thought. 'Still just a kid.'

The group walked away from the captain and went to the nearest bus station with another sea of people waiting. On the other side of the building where they left off, a man was grining with what he just have heard.

"Zaban is clearly pointed in the opposite direction of the tree. You sure, you want to follow him?" Asked Leorio.

"Yup!" Gon and Silver answered at the same time.

"There should be a reason why he wants us to go there." Said Gon.

"I was told to listen to my elders." Silver nodded.

"You two are a lost cause!" Leorio shook his head and asked Kurapika. "How about you?"

"As much as I want to go to the exam location, following them intrigues me more." Said Kurapika while following the two kids walking to the tree's direction.

*Tsk* 'We got a tsundere over here.' "Good luck then! It has been a short trip, but see you in Zaban!" Leorio waved good bye to them and sat on the floor.

"Have you heard, it says the bus here doesn't reallly go to Zaban." Random1

"Yeah, it might just be another elimination trick for the exam." Random2

"Hey guys! Wait for me, I suddenly feel that we should stay together to up our chances more!" Leorio shouted as he chased on the trio that are way ahead of him.
