Abandoned by his family at an early age, Josh seeks to become a great magician.

But after so many years of testing himself in the identifying orb, he still got no innate element identified.

With failing scores, he is not hopeful to pass the entrance examination for magic academies or the technical ones. 

Since he got literally nothing to lose anymore, except his stuffed toy Polar Panda, he decided to go and do the test.

And to his surprise, he passed the exam and got admitted in not just any magic or technical academy, but the advanced magic academy.

Magic Null

Temp watched in the control room as each of the new students awaken.


As time goes, she observed that like usual almost every student awakened the normal elements.


Room 021 awakening orb lit with yellow light which means that the student awakened earth element.


Room 125 awakening orb lit with red light which means that the student awakened with the fire element.


Room 151 awakening orb lit with blue light which means that the student awakened with the water element.


Temp has a poker face seemingly waiting for exceptional ones to show.


After waiting for some time, her eyes brightened and she smiled as she saw an awakening orb lit up with orange.


The orange light from the awakening orb told her that the student awakened with magma element, the supposed to be progression after having earth and fire elements.


Temp did not relax as she seemed to have an itch that at least one more will be a skipper in the group. At last, someone's awakening orb lit up with a green light.


"The plant element! Very Good! We have two skippers for this year!"


Temp looked at the screens and after seeing that all of the students have finished the awakening, she was about to leave, but then,


"Huh? Why is that kid still in the corner? Is he crying? Did not awakened? But it shouldn't be… All students that we accept should have an innate element… Oh well whatever, maybe he's just scared."


After leaving it at that, Temp got down to the first floor.


Upon waiting, she saw the new batch one by one descend and gather to the first floor.


The new students abide and get to the front of Temp.


"Good work everyone. It's nice seeing fresh blood in the academy every year. I hope things go forward from today."


She counted and with a little bit of shock she said,
