CHAPTER FORTY TWO: WILL YOU MARRY ME....FOR REAL THIS TIME...
Shall we?" Jiang Hao asked as we stepped out of the car, he stared at me and nodded to assure me of his presence and then I had my hand wrapped around his arm, the news reporters continued to flash their camera lights at us as we made our way to the red carpet..where we both sighed our signatures on the bright wall behind us and then proceeded to where our respective sits were located...the atmosphere was amazing and there were lots of actors and actresses...." Have a seat.." Jiang Hao said as he pulled out a seat for me.
It wasn't long before the award show started with a small joke session that made everyone laugh and then a few performances from a famous girl group and then the giving out of awards...as the category Actor of the year drawn close I could feel my heart beat for Jiang Hao but I knew he felt the same to so I had to show him that I was strong.....
" And finally one of the last awards of the day....ACTOR OF THE YEAR...goes to..." Said the award presenter as we all took deep sighs and held onto our selves so tightly..." And the award goes too..." He added as the silence filled the room and anticipation wore on every ones faces..." The award for Actor of the year of the Asian awards 2023 goes too.....ACTOR JIANG HAO..." he said as every one turned their attention to him and applauded...." That's me!!!" He said as he stood up with his face full of disbelief..." Congratulations.." I said as he pulled me in for a hug and a kiss on the forehead..." Congratulations..." I added as tears filled my eyes....
Jiang Hao stood on the stage, the spotlight shining down on him as he held his Best Actor award. He took a deep breath, feeling the weight of the moment. The room was filled with anticipation and applause.
He began his speech, expressing his gratitude to everyone who had supported him along the way. His voice filled with emotion as he thanked the cast and crew, the director, and the fans, but then his eyes fell onto me..."And lastly," Jiang Hao said, his voice filled with love, "I want to thank the person who has been a string support to me, the person who has believed in me and my abilities, the person who has always cheered me on...I want to thank my love, Sang Yi, you've been by my side through thick and thin, and I can't imagine my life without you." He said as tears rolled down my cheeks...every ones attention was turned to me....
The audience held their breath, sensing something special was about to happen. Jiang Hao moved from the stage and found his way towards me....."Sang Yi," he continued, his voice trembling with nervous excitement, "will you marry me?" He said...." Will you spend the rest of my life with me...will you continue to support me and stand by me...will you let me love you stand by you, protect you and cheer you on as well....will you please make me the happiest man here tonight and accept this ring..." He said as my eyes widened...time seemed to stand still as I slowly stood up and watched him kneel on one knee...." Say yes! Say yes!!" The audience chanted as tears rolled down my cheeks...." Well..." He whispered as I nodded..I couldn't seem to find my words amidst all the excitement and suprise..." Yes..." I said with a shaky voice as he slowly took my hand and slipped the ring on my finger....." I love you..." He said as he pulled me in for a hug..." I really do..." He added as he slowly leaned in and pressed his lips on mine....the audience burst into cheers and applauds for us as our time stood still in that magical moment.

" How did you like my proposal?" Jiang Hao asked as we drove back home...." It was beautiful and unexpected..." I said as I smiled cheerfully....
Back at home I had prepared a suprise for Jiang Hao too....and as we entered the house that was filled with darkness and silence..." Why does this place feel awkwardly silent today?" he asked as the lights turned on and every one yelled congratulations to him...." What the..." He said in shock as he laughed...." When did you prepare this?" He asked..." Well we have been preparing it for a while..." I
replied..." What if I didn't win... wouldn't have gone to waste?" He asked as I poured him a glass of wine..." I knew and believed that you would win..and even if you wouldn't.....you would still be the winner in our eyes." I replied as I handed him the glass..." Now come on...say some words and raise a toast.." I said as I went to step aside when he grabbed my hand...." You are staying right here..." He said..." Well I thank every one here for their love and support and taking off time for this....and I would also like to announce that my award isn't the only thing that will be celebrating today....today we are also celebrating my engagement with Sang yi...this beautiful woman standing besides me." He said as every ones applauded...." Cheers!!!" He said as every one replied with cheers.

Later that night, as I showered I couldn't help feel all the excitement of the night rushing back to me..." Jiang Hao!" I called out after I realised I hadn't bought the robe with me...." Can you help pass me a Robe..." I said as I left my fingers out to pick it...." How did you go in with no robe...." He asked as he handed it to me.....
As I stepped out of the shower, I found him seated on the bed....." I don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight..." He said as I turned back to him..." I don't think I'll be able to sleep either..my heart is still punding really fast...." I replied as I sat down to dry my hair..." Well then it's a good idea I bought this champagne in here...." He said with a smile...." Well thought out..." I replied as I turned back to the mirror...where he came and stood behind me...." Let me help you out.." he said as I handed him the hair dryer....and slowly listened to his fingers passing through my hair...

" Cheers...." We both said as we sat by the window...." Thank you so much for today..." I said happily..." No I should thank you..." He replied as we sipped on our drinks..and slowly listened to the silence of the night as we stared in eachother's eyes...." I love you..." Jiang Hao whispered as he slowly placed his glass on the table and leaned in towards me..." I love you alot Sang yi..." He added
As the moonlight streamed through the window, We found ourselves wrapped in each other's arms,our hearts still fluttering from the proposal earlier....Jiang Hao gently traced his fingers along the curve of my cheek, his touch sending shivers down my spine, our eyes locked as he silently leaned in more and with a soft, lingering kiss, our lips met, igniting a fire that had been smoldering between us....

JIANG HAO'S POV
I rushed upstairs with the breakfast I had prepared for the both of us...." Sang yi!" I called out as I slowly moved to where she was sleeping....so peacefully..." Sang yi..." I whispered in her eyes as a smile flashed her face..." Good morning!" She said as she stretched to get up...." Good morning.." I replied with a kiss as I stood up and bought the breakfast tray to where she was seated...." This smells really good." She said as she took a deep sigh and stood up from bed..." I'll go wash my face..first" she said as she stood up and left.....just staring at her walk away filled my heart with excitement....at this point every thing about her filled mt heart with lots of excitement....

" Looks like your proposal is trending....." Sand yi said as she opened up for another bite of my poached eggs...." You should keep your phone away and first eat.." I said as I tried to pull it from her..." Why..Iam still reading the comments of all of these jealous girls...not every one can have their very own handsome and dashing Jiang Hao..." She said as she slightly pinched my cheeks..." Cute..." She said with a scrunch on her face...." Okay....okay let's eat before this gets cold." I replied....as I smiled shyly..." Can you feed me some of that?" She asked as I did exactly that.....
