CHAPTER FORTY THREE: ITS JUST THE BEGINNING..... PART ONE

SANG YI'S POV

" I'll go and talk to her nurse....will you be able to manage?" I asked Jiang Hao who has insisted to come with me to visit my mom..." I'll manage.." he replied as I left.

Due to the proposal every one was now aware of my upcoming marriage with Jiang Hao and so I received many congratulations from almost every one in the hospital..I must say it was good but also over whelming.

I arrived at the nurses office and she asked me to come in.." How are you doing today?" I asked as she smiled.." Iam okay and you are glowing as well...it must be because of your upcoming wedding..." She said as I laughed.." Well mostly.." I replied.." Well I came today to ask about my mom's condition..is it improving?" I asked," Well yes....I must say it's improving...I've seen her try and interact with other patients as well and she responds to the medicine pretty well...we always try to juggle her memory by asking her about you and there times she remembers you...I guess spending time with you definetly helped her alot." She explained as I felt relieved and happy..." That's amazing to hear....I personally would prefer keeping her close but I think it's better if she spend time here...that way she gets better special attention." I replied.." Well I have another question..." I said," What Is it?" She asked..." Can she attend my wedding? It's scheduled for next month...." I added..." well I think she will be ready by then...as long as she keeps in the condition she is on and also just gets better then she will definetly attend your wedding." She replied as I smiled.." Well that's all I have to saym.thank you so much for your help." I replied as we shook hands and I left.

I found Jiang Hao reading her and other patients a story...they all seemed solely focussed on him and not only the patients but also the nurses who were standing around and just staring at him..some were even taking pictures..." Jiang Hao.." I called out a he stared back at me and smiled..." I'll have to end our story there..but I promise to read you one again some time...." He said as they all insisted on him staying.." What about our autographs?" The nurses said..." Well I'll make sure to have each one of you receive merch from my new series Including a signed photo...." He promised as they all cheered...I moved mom some where and tried to talk to her.....and after I was done I asked the nurse to take her back to rest...

" How did the talk with the nurse go?* Jiang Hao asked as we got into the car.." It went well...they told me that she has started to get better.." I replied.." That's good..." He replied.." You must have been having fun too..." I said.." Well Ofcourse...your mom is a good listener and I think she approves of me being tour husband..." He replied.." How's that...did she tell you her self..?" I asked..." She didn't say but she smiled a couple of times when I was talking to her...." He replied..." A smile is consent enough for you?" I asked.." Well a step at a time.." he replied as we both laughed....

The next days were about wedding planning and I must say I didn't expect it to be so stressing and tiring but I had the help of Alia, Eric and even Aaman and Jiang Hao...

" Why didn't you invite Jiang Hao for the dress fitting?" Alia asked as I wore the dress for her to see.." He can't see me in my bridal dress untill the wedding day.." I replied..." Well does that mean I just made a mistake.." she replied..." What mistake..?" I asked..." The mistake of asking Jiang Hao to come and meet is here..." She replied as I got our of the dressing room..." Hey!" I called our to Alia..." Woah girl you looking so good..." She said as a way to change the topic..." Stop changing the topic..." I replied.." Iam not changing anything..you look good nor just good you look absolutely gorgeous and stunning....I think it's a great idea for Jiang Hao to only see you during the wedding because we don't want him to faint twice at the sight of you..." She replied as I couldn't help smile from her flutter..." Don't worry about Jiang Hao...show me the dress and by the time he will get here..it will be taken off." She suggested as I stood at the platform where she could see me from..." is it really good?" I asked..." It's beautiful...you are beautiful..." She replied..." Ahhh I should be the one getting married to you...how about you ditch Jiang Hao and marry me.." she asked with a mischievous smile as we both burst into laughter..." Well too late Alia...she's mine..." A familiar voice said..." Jiang Hao!" I exclaimed as I immediately rushed back to the dressing room..." Jiang Hao..why are you here..is mean why are you here so fast?" Alia asked..." I was around here...where is Sang yi?" He asked..." she has gone back to the dresser...she doesn't want you to see her wedding dress untill the wedding day." She replied to him..." Why's that?" He asked as I struggled to open the zip on my dress..." Alia!" I called out..." Come and help me take this off..." I added as I waited for her to come in...

" Hello...." Jiang Hao said as he walked into the dressing room.." Why is it you..aahh you are not supposed to see me dressed like this..." I said as I tried to push him out but he was laughing....." Sang yi sang Yi..." He called out....." I'll get out.." he said as I loosened my grip on him..." Get out..." I said again as he smiled and quickly stole a kiss from me....." Hey!" I exclaimed as he quickly ran outside....

" Why didn't you want me to see you in your wedding dress?" Jiang Hao asked as we walked home..." Well it's this belief that when the groom sees the bride in their wedding dress before the wedding day then something could go wrong..with the wedding...it's a superstition but I sort of want to believe it because I don't want anything to go wrong with the wedding." I replied as he held my hand tightly..." Nothing can go wrong with the wedding...." He said with a smile..." so you shouldn't worry about that.." he said to me as I smiled at him....." Now come here..." He said as he wrapped his arm around my shoulders....as we continued walking.

THE WEDDING D DAY...

" Alright Iam done here..." The make up artist said as I stared at my self in the mirror.." You are one beautiful bride..." She said to me as I smiled with teary eyes...." Where is the beautiful bride?" Alia said as she walked in...." Your brides maid has arrived.." she said as she twirled to show me her dress..." And she looks beautiful.." I said.." Not as lethally attractive as the bride is...look at you..." She said as I noticed tears in her eyes..."Dont tell me you are going to cry.." I said as she sniffed..." Why would I cry it's a joyous occasion..." She replied as she held my hands.." Iam really happy for you..Sang yi.." she said to me as I pulled her in for a hug..." Thank you for always being there..." I said to her as she held me even more tightly....." I'll let go before I ruin your hair and make up..." She said as Aaman waked in..." It's time..." She said to us as we got ready...." I'll get going first..." Alia said as she turned to leave..." Remember to catch the bouquet.. later.." I said...." Remember to throw it at me..." She said as she walked out...." Gosh my heart is beating fast..." I said as I walked around the room taking deep breaths.

The aisle is adorned with fresh flowers, leading up to a beautifully decorated altar. The guests are seated, eagerly waiting for the ceremony to begin.

As the music started to play, I walked into the hall where every ones eyes were on me but but my eyes and focus was solely on Jiang Yi, who was standing at the end of the aisle, eagerly awaiting my arrival with a bright smile on his face.....as I walked along the aisle that adorned with fresh flowers, leading up to a beautifully decorated altar, our eyes locked, and in that moment, time seems to stand still.....

Each step I took was filled with grace and emotion, my heart filled with love and anticipation. As I walked towards Jiang Yi, memories of our journey flooded my mind. I recalled the laughter, the tears, and the countless moments that we had shared together Each step was bringing me closer to the love of my life.....

I finally reached Jiang Yi who smiled with tears in his eyes as he extended his hand towards me.... With tears of joy streaming down my face, I placed my hand in his, feeling the warmth and reassurance of our love, We exchanged heartfelt vows, promising to love and support each other through thick and thin.

And then, in a moment that feels like pure magic, we sealed our vows with a tender and passionate kiss. The crowd erupted in applause and cheers, celebrating our union...." I love you..." Jiang Yi whispered...." I love you too." I replied as we kissed again....I looked back at the crowd where I saw my mom... smiling at me...I wasn't even sure if she knew what was going on at the moment but she was smiling brightly at me and that was more than enough....
